I originally had a braces consultation with another orthodontist in South Pasadena, whose office is a bit closer to my home and I was ready to go in and sign agreement. However, her office cancelled my appointment two hours before my appointment time and the staff who was supposed to call me back and explain the situation never called. I was not happy about it and decided to find another orthodontist. I’m so glad Yelpers have guided me to Dr. Ohanian in Pasadena. Booking an appointment was extremely easy. The receptionist was super friendly and after taking down some basic information I was scheduled a consultation. I love the fact this office always texts me confirmation and reminder for my appointments. Their office is so clean. During my first visit, it was beautifully decorated for Christmas with a lighted Christmas tree and other cute decorations. By the entrance, there is a table with bottled water and hot coffee for patients. The office has a cozy environment and make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I also felt Dr. Ohanian was very considerate as he tried to spend more time with patients for initial consultation by taking pictures of patients’ teeth himself. In the other orthodontist’s office I went, it was all done by staffs in order to save more time for the orthodontist. Dr. Ohanian was very detail-oriented, knowledgeable and thorough when he reviewed the X-rays and photos and went over all of my treatment options. Most importantly, I’m so glad that Dr. Ohanian had introduced me to inbrace treatment (braces are not shown on the outside of the teeth and people can’t really tell you are wearing braces at all), which is exactly what I wanted and it is not offered by many orthodontists and I didn’t know about it until I came here. I just officially started my treatment today and overall I am very happy and would recommend Go Orthodontics to other people.

I had braces when I was a kid, but I was one of those who stopped wearing their retainers. Well 20 years later, my teeth have crowded up and my dentist has always told me to look into getting some treatment to getting it all straight, so he referred me to a couple of orthodontic offices. I went to those offices, but at both places the doctors just seemed impatient and didn’t take the time to answer my questions (it’s not like I’m buying a jeans). I got turned off and look into DIY options like Smile Direct Club. I joined the facebook groups and researched them on BBB and got turned off by their reviews. Frustrated with all the  dead end recommendations I was getting I took matters into my own hands and I looked on Google and Yelp and found GO Orthodontics. They had great reviews so I scheduled an appointment. The office is beautiful and the staff were really nice. They had all the newest technologies and the office setting didn’t seem like a typical dental office. It seemed like they took the time when designing the office to set a comfortable tone. Dr. Ohanian gave me my options and answered all of my questions. I was in and out of the office in an hour with braces on. This is definitely a health care office of the future. I would highly recommend visiting Dr. Ohanian.

This office is the epitome of modern healthcare. The doctor is very knowledgeable, caring, and funny. He answered all of my questions in a way that I can understand. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the office is modern and clean, decked with all of the newest technologies. They specialize only in orthodontics, so you know you’re not getting a dentist who’s a jack of all trades, master of none. They provide traditional braces, clear braces, Invisalign and lingual braces. Highly recommend this office for your orthodontic needs.

I knew I needed to get my teeth straightened out but wasn’t sure which doctor would be best. I had gone to my dentist’s office a couple months ago for a routine check up and he recommended I go see Dr. Ohanian. He told me that he has seen his work and would highly recommend for me to see him. It was a bit confusing where the entrance was, but I found out that it was a brand new building so they were still getting their signage situation straightened out. When I first walked in, I was in shock of how beautiful the office was! Alannah greeted me and was super nice. After I filled out the necessary paperwork, I was taken to the clinic where they took pictures and a couple of x-rays. We then went to a room where my photos were displayed on a big screen TV and Dr. Ohanian explained the necessary steps needed to make my teeth straight. He answered all of my questions and Alannah was able to work with my budget so that I could get started that same day! I was in and out of the office in just about an hour with braces on. I can’t wait to see the results! I highly recommend this office! I’m so happy that they are here in Pasadena.

You can tell how patient oriented Dr. O is just by looking at his office. You feel comfortable and welcomed here the minute you walk in. From the coffee station to the entertainment sources for your kids, you can tell he really wants everyone to feel at home. His work is clean, meticulous, and he gives his patients his full attention, sincere advice and treatment options. I had not worn my retainers several years after removing my braces in my teens. I noticed my teeth had moved slightly during these years. I decided to go to Dr. O. to see if I needed to start a new treatment, or if he would be able to provide me with alternate solutions. Dr. O gave me his honest opinion, and did not pull any tactics to get me to pay for a whole new treatment. He told me that after a proper fit of a retainer, I would get the results that I wanted. Thank you Dr. O. for being honest and thorough. You truly care for your patients teeth as well as saving them money!!

I came to GO Orthodontics since Dr. Ohanian was recommended by a friend of mine who got his orthodontic treatment there. I was hesitant to start any type of treatment as I have a complicated case, but I thought I’d have it checked out anyways. Dr. Ohanian and his staff were nice and friendly. He answered all of my questions, especially the differences between braces, aligners and “lingual” braces.  I’m now halfway through my treatment and so far so good. Overall I’m happy that I decided to see Dr. Ohanian.

My Story: My son went to an Orthodontist that has good yelp ratings and reviews. We began his treatment when he was around eight years old. First, the orthodontist did not explain clearly what our options were and as things progressed with the treatment we came to realize she was clueless or just didn’t have the patients best interest in mind . The lack of information was mind boggling. My son was given Invisiline style braces at six that: A. He didn’t need and B. were not age appropriate. Flash forward six years later and we give GO Orthodontics a try. They were a revelation, a breath of fresh air an amazing, friendly and professional group from the front desk to the Orthodontist. Not only did they give us clear concise information about my son’s options. They did things like take detailed photographic images of my sons teeth and X-rays that included head and spine that altered the way I perceived Orthodontics. It was like I stepped out of the stone age from my previous Orthodontist and into the current century. Go Orthodontics deserves 10 stars and a visit by any parent afraid to make the wrong decision involving their children’s teeth. If your an adult and someone says there’s no good orthodontists on the east side one visit and that myth will be busted.

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT experience!!! My orthodontist retired and I was a little bummed. So I had to find somewhere new to look at my retainer. The staff was really friendly and the orthodontist. I always loved going to the orthodontist bc I always leave with a smile. This place did not disappoint. Most importantly, great prices, COVID friendly (sanitized, distance between people, masks) and professional. I would recommend to my friends and family. 🙂

I went in yesterday on a referral from my dentist. All I needed was to have a bottom (behind the teeth) bracket removed. It had been there since my braces were removed 30 years ago and my dentist thought it was time to ditch it. They took some photos and Dr. Ohanian examined my bracket. He quickly popped it off, polished the glue off my teeth and sent me on my way. He then told me he’d do it for free since it was a simple procedure! Mind you, I’m not a regular patient of his and most likely won’t be needing orthodontics for the rest of my life. He could of easily charged me knowing I wouldn’t be coming back for myself but he didn’t. I would recommend Go Orthodontics to anyone in the area! The staff was friendly and they got me in and out quickly. I highly recommend you visit this office!

My Orthodontist moved away from the San Gabriel Valley last year soon after I finished my Invisalign treatment.  This week, I was experiencing an issue with my permanent retainer, and did not know where to go.  My friend recomended Dr. Ohanian at GO Orthodontics, and I am so glad I went.  The staff was super accomodating and got me in next day.  Once there I appreciated all the COVID precautions and how clean and updated the office space/equipment is.  Dr. Ohanian’s staff is super friendly and sweet, explaining to me what they were doing every step of the process and their recommendations for me.  Dr Ohanian thoroughly explained what he was doing, perfectly fixed my retainer issue, and answered all my questions thoughtfully. GO is now my Go-to Ortho!

I had an orthodontic consult with Dr. Ohanian; he was highly recommended and I found him to be very friendly, easy to talk to, and an orthodontist with an excellent education. He did a thorough evaluation to determine if I was a good candidate for Invisalign and if the treatment would benefit the outcome which I desired. Once I made the commitment to proceed, Jules worked efficiently to expedite my treatment as well as the office staff, Kim and Christina. They made sure to review my insurance benefits in advance so that Alannah, the financial coordinator could work out a payment plan that was well within my budget. Once I received my Invisalign trays the staff made sure that I was comfortable with the supplies and they gave me the information to properly care for my teeth and the equipment. Thank you all for your caring attitude!!

I had an amazing experience with Go Orthodontics!! I always felt like family and was cared for by the whole staff including Dr. Ohanian. I trusted them with decisions on what was best for me and my progress. I recently got my braces off during this whole pandemic and they were so professional to make sure their clients stay safe and felt at ease in their office. I love my new smile and will miss coming to the office! Overall my experience with the staff, location and treatment I highly reccomend you put your smile in their hands!

My two daughters just got their braces removed. We are all so pleased with the end results! We met with 4 orthodontist before deciding on Go Orthodontics. We definitely made the right choice. Dr. O. is great, and the staff, both the front desk and the staff working with the patient’s are just amazing; professional, sweet/nice, and always accommodating to our needs. I love that they participate in and support community events as well as have fun, seasonal raffles/contests. Thank you Go Orthodontics for such a great experience, and beautiful teeth!! We were previous patients from Dr. Callender’s office. He recently retired and transferred all of his patients to Dr. Ohanian at GO Orthodontics. We had a very good experience at our first appointment. Him and his staff were very friendly and answered all of our questions. Dr. Ohanian was super sweet and his staff were very organized. We had our balance paid off at Dr. Callender’s office and my son still has a year left in treatment. Dr. Ohanian told me that he honors all previous commitments with Dr. Callender and wants to make this transition as easy as possible for everyone. I thought that was very nice and that put my mind at ease. His office is brand new with new technologies. It was definitely an upgrade.

Dr. Ohanian is a true artist and perfectionist. No only does he love what he does but he is meticulous and has orthodontics down to a science. I refer to Dr. Ohanian regularly as a general dentist and my patients ALWAYS rave about him and his work. He treats every patient with respect and gives them every option possible. He is realistic and straightforward with his recommendations. Dr. Ohanian has treated my patients with Invisalign, regular braces and has even treated with braces that you can’t see and are behind your teeth!!! In my opinion, the lingual braces are the best thing since sliced bread in the Orthodontic world! Besides his impeccable work, Go Orthodontics is a beautiful office. Like his work, it is clean, modern, up-to-date and fun. He has all the coolest gadgets and when I first went to his office it was like walking around in the Disneyland of Orthodontic Offices. If you or anyone is thinking about any type of braces I highly suggest Go Orthodontics and Dr. Ohanian for all your orthodontic needs. Keep up the good work! From the moment I called, the front desk was very kind in walking me through the steps to schedule a consult. She even let me know that if I wanted to start the same day that I could! I love that since I was already taking the time off for work. During my exam they took photos and x-rays, and told me my treatment would only take 12 months. Wow! The other two offices quoted me a lot longer in treatment time. Dr. Ohanian was very patient while I asked my questions and recommended Invisalign for me since I tend to grind my teeth at night. I am half way through treatment now and already loving my results! Thank you GO Orthodontics for changing my smile!

Excellent work. Got braces in and they were out early. All of my questions were answered quickly and any concerns where addressed immediately. Staff was very kind everytime I went in and very efficient. Never had an issue that wasn’t addressed when I brought it up. Never had to wait for very long in the lobby for an appointment. Facility is very clean and kept in order. Nothing is 100% perfect but this was an overall great experience and I would highly recommend to others.

My orthodontist retired and I was transferred to this office for care, but they have been fantastic. Prompt appointments and a professional and friendly staff. Even though I’ve only seen them for care related to retainers, I couldn’t recommend them more. Thanks to the whole team!

Dr. Ohanian really doesn’t deserve 5 stars, he actually deserves 10!!! My original orthodontist retired and I had to find a new one on short notice. My treatment was done but my retainers occasionally still needed minor adjustments because I wear them at night. My original doctor was based in Los Angeles and referred me to a doctor in L.A. but I wanted someone closer to home and didn’t want appointments to turn into long freeway trips and hour long commutes. I called the referral he gave to make an appointment and the receptionist informed me that the consultation was $200, plus any adjustments would be an additional charge. What? A simple retainer adjustment only takes a few minutes and is not a complicated procedure that requires an exam, but since that’s who was recommended I made the appointment. Called the day before the exam and told the receptionist I googled the address but couldn’t find the parking lot on the map. That’s when she told me they didn’t have one, street parking only. I immediately sensed that this really wasn’t going to work out so I started googling local orthodontist in the Pasadena area and came across Dr. Ohanian and his office. The reviews sounded promising so I called the office to make an appointment and Christina the receptionist offered to bring me in the same afternoon. I was already at work and couldn’t leave so she scheduled me for a Saturday appointment. Arrived at the office and filled out a brief patient form and Cindy escorted me to the exam area to take pictures of my teeth and jaw. As soon as she was done Dr. Ohanian came over to ask me about the reason for my visit. I told him my retainer no longer fit after some dental work. He said he would do what he could but couldn’t promise anything since the appliance was already not working for me. A few careful adjustments later and my retainer fit better than it ever had; I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The best part was that Dr. Ohanian completed my exam and adjustment free of charge since it was such a simple procedure. I cannot thank Dr. Ohanian and his staff enough for getting me in fast, making the experience pleasant, and not price gouging me for a simple adjustment. I will definitely be referring anyone who needs an orthodontist to Dr. Ohanian’s office. He is honest, professional, efficient and fast. Plus his office space is modern, clean and convenient, with free parking as well as free water and coffee. If you are in the Pasadena/Arcadia/Monrovia/SGV area and are looking for an orthodontist, don’t hesitate to check out Dr. Ohanian’s office and his helpful staff. Trust me you won’t be disappointed as his professional skills, services and price points are practically impossible to beat.

I found Dr. Ohanian’s office through Yelp.  I read the reviews and decided to give them a call.  Dr. Ohanian and his staff were very professional and nice. The office was the most inviting office I’ve ever experienced!  Dr. Ohanian took the time to explain to me why I would be a good candidate for Invisalign treatment, but gave me the option to choose between Invisalign or regular metal braces. I had visited other offices, but it seemed as though they were doing cleanings, root canals and crowns, but Dr. Ohanian specializes in getting teeth straight. Although the other offices were good, I felt like straightening teeth is all Dr. Ohanian does…all day.  Choosing Dr. Ohanian’s office was a no brainer.  I didn’t want to go somewhere that didn’t specialize in Invisalign.  It’s been only a few weeks now that I’ve been with these aligners and I already see a change with my teeth!  I can’t wait to see the final results, and I will be back to post an update.  I highly recommend GO Orthodontics! They make treatment fun and exciting.

I’ve never written a Yelp review before, but I feel really passionate about sharing my experience with Dr. Ohanian. I’m an adult orthodontic patient, who has always wanted to straighten her teeth and who spent a great deal of time preparing to do so–financially, in terms of commitment to staying in one city long enough, and mentally. Two years ago, I finally began the journey of orthodontic treatment with ANOTHER practice in Glendale. To be frank, I had a fairly unfortunate experience with that other orthodontist: after a year and a half of Invisalign, followed by four months of traditional braces, I was left with a noticeably imperfect smile and a retainer that did little to keep my teeth in place. I also had a substantial open bite in the back of my mouth, caused by collisions in the front that prevented me from being able to close my teeth properly (making chewing very frustrating). Even worse, whenever I’d visit that other orthodontist, I encountered impatient indifference, my concerns were casually ignored or dismissed, and I recognized a distinct difference in the standard of care I received, based on whether I went to my appointments alone or with my boyfriend. My teeth were regressing every day, and my original provider was completely uninterested in helping. I knew I had to find someone else to help me. That brings me to meeting Dr. Ohanian… I began searching for another orthodontist to correct the problems I inherited from my first doctor. I searched Yelp, reviewed websites, and began scheduling consultations. First, I visited a different top-rated practice in Pasadena, where I was treated kindly, but was told I would need at least another year and a half of treatment and would have to more than duplicate my original investment. I was distraught and in disbelief since my teeth had already traveled so far from their original arrangement (and looked pretty darn straight!), and while I knew correction was still necessary, I expected some fine-tuning, rather than a complete re-start. Next, I called GO Orthodontics… Dr. Ohanian’s Office Coordinator, Alannah, was immediately sympathetic, caring, and comprehensive over the phone, and she arranged a special quick turn-around visit for me with Dr. Ohanian, to ensure we arrested further regression. Dr. Ohanian saw me two days later, coming in on his day off to make it work, and he spent an enormous amount of time patiently reviewing my history and explaining a reasonable plan to successfully complete my needed treatment. Not only do I completely trust that the finish line is NOT even close to another year and a half away, but also I’m grateful that Dr. Ohanian was upfront and accommodating in telling me about my likely continued access to Invisalign services, based on my previous financial commitment to the Invisalign system with my former practitioner. I am so relieved to have found a genuinely patient-focused orthodontist. Dr. Ohanian’s pratice is a new one, but that also means that he is going incredibly out of his way to build a loyal and grateful clientele. He has designed a space that is warm and thoughtfully arranged, with clean and thorough technological equipment (trust me: I’ve seen other circumstances), and a very comfortable vibe. And the general tone here is one of true authenticity: Dr. Ohanian’s passion for his work is both obvious and infectious. Alannah is engaging and conscientious. I feel so lucky to have found GO Orthodontics, and I completely trust this practice to remedy my situation. In fact, in finding Dr. Ohanian, I feel equally grateful to have a new highly competent and careful doctor as I feel fortunate to have made a new friend. I look forward to pursuing treatment with him.

It’s crazy how much I look forward to coming to this office. Such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. They have really thought about everything to make your visit enjoyable. It’s also worth mentioning that Dr. O is awesome! You can clearly see his passion for his work and love for his hometown. He really has his patients’ best interests at heart. Being one of his patients means you become part of the GO Orthodontics family and add your thumbprint to their family tree!

GO Orthodontics is absolutely the best place to get your braces! The staff is extremely nice and very professional. Everything is easy to do and wait times are never too long for anything. Two of my daughters and my husband are all part of the GO family! I would highly recommend GO Orthodontics to anyone who is even considering getting braces or currently looking for an Orthodontist. We are very satisfied patients!
