I have been going to Dr. Samuelian for years now. I have always had a fear of the dentist and therefore my teeth needed a lot of work. It included everything from implants to veneers and ultimately invisalign the whitening which is the final piece of the puzzle. Throughout the entire process he has been absolutely fantastic and incredibly patient. I recommend him highly to anyone in search of a dentist. The office and rest of the staff is equally wonderful.

Hands down best dental experience I’ve had. Part of my tooth broke while at work. I panicked, and called around different dentists near my office. Thankfully, this office was able to squeeze me in. I ran over and hopped right in a dental chair. The dental hygienist was incredible-so informative, so calming, so considerate. She and the dentist worked like a well oiled machine, checking my tooth and saved me from needing a root canal (at least for this visit!). I was back in my office in less than an hour. No one wants to have a dental emergency, but this office made it as painless as possible.

Dr. Samuelian and his team are awesome- consummate professionals and the top in their field. I went to Dr. S years ago with a train wreck of a mouth; he put together a fantastic and well thought out treatment plan. I’ve always shyed away from dentistry, this is the first office I’ve felt confident and comfortable in. The clinic is impeccably clean and they have spent a ton of resources on state-of-the–art air filters, etc. in light of Covid. Lastly, go for the dentistry but be rewarded with an amazing display of emerging artists. Dr. S is an avid supporter of the (NYC) arts community and generously shares his collection with his patients- his curatorial eye has literally made headlines in the NYTimes.

Dr. Avo Samuelian and Dr. Steven Alper are the best dentist I have ever seen. Their work is perfection and I would not dare go anywhere else. The whole team is top professionals. Thanks Tiffany for keeping my teeth cavity free for the last 6 years!

Dr. Samuelian is great, clearly the best dentist i have had in 15 years living in NYC, if not ever. The office is really relaxing and manages to feel professional without feeling overly clinical. The staff is helpful with cleanings and reception sends you appt reminders and confirmations via emaiI, so you don’t waste undue time on the phone. Dr S knows his stuff and I feel very comfortable while he is dealing with crowns, fillings, ect. I have found him easy to talk to as he couldn’t be a nicer guy but he definitely gets to the point and promptly gets you on your way. I have even referred a colleague who loves him as well. His office is on 19th street in Manhattan, just north of Union Square so i am not sure what this Brooklyn address is all about.

Finally a dentist practice were you are treated as a person not just a number. Went in during Covid right after they reopened and I felt very safe as the whole team takes very seriously every step to ensure patiences safety. Honest and clear understanding of the costs involved with any visit. And finally a nice and well decorated doctor office! Less pictures of cavities that are useless and lots of great art hanging on the walls!

First – and most importantly, the office is super cute! Really comfortable seating (though I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes) with contemporary decor and modern artwork which furnish this loft-style space. So, when I needed to find a new dentist to repair the botched job a possibly uncertified husband and wife “dentist” duo did, I originally chose this place for the location, (close to union square) and was pleasantly surprised with everything else. Without dental insurance though, it seems a bit pricey, (for my parents) even by New York standards. However, Dr. Samuelian is always on time and quick at what he does and knows what he’s doing. He’s also nice to look at and bypasses all the small talk b.s while he focuses on getting the job done. The secretary is also very friendly (she actually appears to like her job?) and somehow always remembers me even though the place constantly seems busy.

I was referred to Gotham Dental by a friend, as I wanted to make sure I went somewhere good and Gotham Dental did not disappoint! Tiffany the hygienist is amazing and very personable. I had a bad dental experience in the past elsewhere that makes me nervous to go to the dentist, but Dr. Samuelian makes sure that I am always completely comfortable and does efficient, quality work on whatever I’ve needed done. I have been coming here for years now, even living in Brooklyn.

Gotham Dental is a fantastic group with great staff. Dr. Kleinfelder and his staff were fantastic to work with. The team at Gotham was very professional and has gone the extra mile to ensure superb levels of cleanliness in our post-COVID reality. Dr. Kleinfelder’s check-ups and cleanings are quick, easy, and painless. His bedside manner is also fantastic – after filling a cavity of mine he was sure to follow up a couple days later to make sure everything was OK.

Dr. Samuelian and his team are second to none. I’ve been a patient for over 10 years and couldn’t be happier with the quality, consideration, and overall experience they deliver. I once made the mistake of going to another dentist for a crown because my insurance would cover more of the cost, and it wound up costing me much more, in both inconvenience and money, because the tooth was damaged and needed to come out. Dr. Samuelian and Dr. Montazem (the surgeon) got me all fixed up with a new implant and crown, and the entire process was smooth and virtually painless. Dr. Samuelian is constantly upgrading his state-of-the art equipment and the whole office is a gleaming, every-changing temple to his thought-provoking collection of contemporary art. Special shout out to Tiffany, my hygienist and now friend, who I actually look forward to visiting every 6 months, and everyone at the front desk, always so friendly and accommodating. The automated appointment reminder system they use makes scheduling and rescheduling as simple as sending a text. If you don’t love your dentist or are seeking a new one, I can’t imagine that there is anyone anywhere providing a better experience than Gotham Dental. Many thanks!

Do you know anyone who loves going to the dentist? I have been going to Dr. Samuelian for ten years and he, along with his team, have completely changed my relationship with dentistry. I enjoy seeing them, even look forward to my appointment. They take incredible care of their patients, are VERY fair and honest with work/pricing and all around amazing people. I love them and their office is pretty fabulously decorated too. I cannot recommend them enough.
