Dr. Ashley Chung is AMAZING. I had two fillings completed by her and she was so kind yet very meticulous in the best way about her work. She did an amazing job and also just has an awesome personality. I wasn’t nervous at all during the work or even when I had to have the local anesthesia administered which normally makes me nervous. She legitimately is the nicest dentist I’ve ever met. The entire staff here is great from reception to x-rays etc everyone has a genuine smile (absolutely no pun intended) and is ready to help. Even though I’m moving out of town if I have any other dental needs this will definitely be worth the drive going forward. BEST dental experience ever.

After years of different dentists, I’m so impressed with Dr. Chung and her staff. They give very personal attention and made sure I was satisfied with the results. Dr. Chung will not talk you into services or treatments you don’t need. She is very understanding, caring, and did a wonderful job with fixing up my teeth. I use the smile dental plan since I don’t have dental insurance, and it is quite affordable.

I just wanted to take a few minutes to let everyone know. Grant Park Dentistry, and the staff that works there are some of the most amazing people I know. Their outreach to the customers before, during and aftercare goes far above and beyond any dentist office, I have ever been to in the past. I had all my lower teeth extracted today, (Sept 13, 2019) Yes I know, it’s Friday the 13th. But everyone there went out of there way, to not only make sure I was ok but got me home and settled, went through my prescriptions with me to ensure I knew what they were, and what they were for, and has since either texted or knocked on my door to make sure I was doing ok. I am over the moon with everyone employed there and highly recommend them to anyone who cares to ask. You people are amazing.

I went last week for my first time; I had a dental cleaning & to check for a possible cracked filling. I did have a cracked onlay and I scheduled to have it done the following week (today). I have found everyone to be very kind and professional. I appreciate that they also take CareCredit and are currently offering a special – $100 off a treatment if you bring in a new winter clothing item to be donated to a local nonprofit for women & children. Awesome! I’m definitely planning on going back for future care.

I just got a cap replaced at Grant Park Dentistry. The place is top notch, state of the art and completely digital. Get this, they have a machine to make your cap on site. No more waiting two weeks! They measure your tooth, design the cap and mill it right there! I was really impressed with this. Beyond that the staff is excellent. Very friendly, very transparent with what you will pay. I really have no idea if the pricing is competitive because I’m not about to go to another dental office to try to save 10%, but they were definitely not out of line of what I expected and they worked with my insurance seamlessly. I look forward to going to them for my dental needs for years to come.

This place is absolutely stellar. As a person with an anxiety disorder, I usually find clinical settings to be a total nightmare, but this experience was totally unique, and utterly pleasant. The staff at Grant Park were remarkably accommodating and understanding, helping me feel calm and even happy through my whole experience. I’d avoided the dentist for a while, and ended up with a few unexpected fillings as a result, but they were able to finish everything in one visit, which was so convenient. The office itself was super clean and very comfortable. The staff were super considerate and professional. I actually had a small dent in my front tooth that none of my previous dental care providers had been able to help me with, and they filled it in effortlessly and quickly, so I left with a smile I feel way more confident about. The pricing was super transparent here, too! Before engaging in any step of the process, they took the time to walk me through exactly how much it would cost, so there were no unfortunate surprises at the checkout desk. I’d totally recommend this office to anybody looking for compassionate, comfortable dental care.

It was truly my best experience ever at a dentist. I am amazed at how much better my teeth look now with just a simple cleaning. I had a lot of coffee stain because I wasn’t going to a dentist regularly. In one cleaning the stains were gone. I now like going to the dentist and will go more regularly now. The TLDR version: these folks treated me so well that even after FIVE HOURS in the chair this morning, they convinced me to come back tomorrow for another session. Usually, I’d be out of there and over the horizon before the office assistant was done running my credit card. So if I can survive the place, you can too. The Long Version: I’ll be the first to admit that I’m one of those dreadful patients who only goes to the dentist when it’s an emergency. There’s a nasty tangle of PTSD and mental health issues tied up with my dental history and that’s all I’m sharing with you about it. Point is, I went more than THREE YEARS between trips to Grant Park Dentistry, the first visit being one of those crisis visits, during which various work was done and very competently, too (I think the practice has since changed owners, but I could be wrong). The second visit was prompted by the fact that I was aware that some (metaphorical) ticking time bombs that had been identified during that first visit were now flashing red and emitting ominous noises. So I put on my Big Girl Pants and hauled myself in before the counters all reached “000” and something really awful happened*. Yes, my teeth are a chronic mess. I very nervously explained the context behind my awful habits and the plaque-y, cavity-riddled mess that’s the outcome of same. TO MY UTTER AMAZEMENT I wasn’t shamed, eyerolled or dismissed – which was what I’d been bracing for. Instead, the dentist and his assistant presented a sympathetic bedside (er, chairside?) manner and were willing to let me brainstorm with them about possible ways to retrain myself into habits that neurotypical people acquire in childhood. What they did NOT do was send me into a shame spiral that would have had me out of there after the bare minimum of work was done, never to darken their door again until something literally crumbled. Needless to say, it was a much more pleasant experience than I had been expecting and it’s not their fault that dental insurers are a bunch of unhang’d scoundrels – they were upfront about what the costs were going to be and I handed them credit cards until they told me to stop. The office staff was almost relentlessly cheerful and I heard lots of good-natured banter between them, which I took as a good sign. I’ve been to offices where the staff didn’t get along and, oof, it made an unpleasant visit even worse. So, yay for good attitudes! They go a long way. The practice has all kinds of shiny doohickeys, including the ability to create crowns on site via a lathe-type machine which certainly beats the heck out of the “take a mold, wait two weeks and HOPE that the crown fits” approach. I also applaud the advent of digital x-rays which are so much quicker and easier to sit through. I’m sure this lards up the out-of-pocket cost considerably, but I’m okay with paying extra if it provides a quicker/more comfortable experience. Less trauma = increased likelihood that I’ll return. Do I recommend this practice? Yes, absolutely. They might not be your cup of tea, dear reader, but they were mine. Good eggs, the lot of ’em. *Cue overshare: in the intervening three years, my mental health care got a serious overhaul, which is how I even managed to get my Big Girl Pants on in the first place

I haven’t had a dentist in years and now I’ve found one. They are awesome. The people that work there are passionate, fun, and talk to you like a real person. They made me laugh and put up with me giving them a hard time. My insurance covered my visit and they did everything in one appointment…which I so appreciate.
