I want to give Dr. Bowen at Great Big Smiles a shout out, fun, friendly office. My granddaughter was 12 when she started or Orthodontics , she was born without her cuspids (canine teeth) she is now 17, and she just had her last appointment.Dr. Bowen has given her a perfect set of teeth, so beautiful, and this is the first time she has ever shown her parents the form to fill out for her school pictures. as her grandmother this makes me so happy to see her have the confidence in herself to smile big and let those teeth show. I could not be happier with the results, and did I mention how much fun the Doctor is, and his staff make you feel like family if you are looking for a great dentist look no further then this office, he also has an office in Phoenix

My orthodontists retired (Dr Running and Dr Helwig) and I was extremely skeptical and sad about switching to someone new. Bowen bought out their practice, so I gave him a shot. The bottom line is Dr Bowen delivered. He does fantastic work, is extremely easy to talk with and as a patient, I felt at ease asking questions. The staff is wonderful and very caring as they were before. Bowen genuinely cares about what he’s doing and has a positive attitude. Would definitely go back.

Very happy with my braces and also the quality service at GBS. Has been worth every penny! No time is wasted in the office and that was important to me as a scheduled professional. The location is great located downtown near where I work. Dr. Bowen and his friendly staff made every accommodation while I was in, from ease of paperwork and answering my questions in consultation. The office is family friendly and inviting. The culture in the office has a good chemistry and atmosphere and I enjoy my appointments. The wait time is low and the staff is awesome. The office is always clean and professional. They worked with me to establish a payment plan that works with my budget. The staff and doctor are friendly, professional and pretty funny too. Lots of laughs but they always make sure everything is taken care of for you and your teeth. They are flexible with scheduling and last minute appointment when a band brakes or something along those lines. I really like the environment and culture they create at this office. We went to Dr. Bowen for a second opinion on 1st phase braces for my 10 year-old. He was much less expensive, and his whole staff was so nice. I had all 5 kids with me and they were sweet with all my kids. They are able to fit us in any time we have a band break or need any help. Today after his appointment my son said, “I’m so glad we come here for my braces.” He loves their “Smiles Miles” program where he earns points (to trade in for gift cards) for different things like dentist check-ups, losing teeth, or referring friends. We’d recommend Dr. Bowen to anyone.

My regular dentist recommended Doctor Bowen for my invisalign treatment and I am SO GLAD he did! 🙂 On my first visit I was totally won over by the staff! From the person who greeted me at the door to the hygienist to Dr. Bowen himself – every single person was friendly, warm, helpful and clearly focused on what mattered to me as individual. They took a ton of time with me to explain how invisalign works and answered any questions I had. Most importantly – they were just a lot of fun to be around. I couldn’t believe how quickly the time had passed and how easy everything was. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for the awesome, individualized and friendly service. If I ever need ortho work – you’re my people! I should also mention that the day I was going in to get my invisalign work done, a groupon came across my email promoting 50% at another general dentist. I thought about it for one second and then realized that I really trusted Dr. Bowen and his team and that I wanted them to be the folks working on my teeth given they are experts in the field and so warm and friendly. So…if that’s not a glowing recommendation, I’m not sure what is. 🙂 Do yourself a favor and visit Dr. Bowen and friends at Great Big Smiles.

I highly recommend Great Big Smiles Orthodontics with Dr. Michael Bowen. I just finished Invisalign, and I love how straight my teeth are! I’m in my 50’s and my teeth started turning gradually to cross over each other. I wasn’t sure if it was worth getting my teeth fixed at my age… but I’m so glad that I did! They look great, feel great, and I feel more confident! The Invisalign trays are clear which helped me at my age to feel more professional in my career, and while I felt like I sounded a little bit different I got used to that quickly. It was painless with minimal visits, and my appointments were quick and on-time. Dr. Bowen and his staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Every individual who helped me knew my name and completed their tasks thoroughly and efficiently. I loved the reminder texts, flexible appointment schedule, fun environment, and their accessibility. And on my last visit, they celebrated our success! I give them ten stars out of five!

Let me start by saying that I am a little bit high maintenance, or so I’m told. I had braces as a kid and then my teeth greatly shifted after I lost my retainer at 18. I knew I wanted them fixes both for visible reasons and for annoying reasons. After looking at several different options, I knew I wanted Invisalign. A few years prior I looked at different Ortho practices. However, I never found the right practice until found GREAT BIG SMILE. They were recommended by my dentist who I love. Dr. Bowen is a really nice guy who always has a smile and a funny story along with being gentle and kind. All of the staff follow his lead and are equally polite sweet and kind. From Gloria during check-in, and who always sent text and email reminders. To Melissa and Debbie and Dr Bowen who always made sure I was comfortable during my own personal anxiety around teeth tools. I have been through the whole process and just just finished. (1 year) Meaning I got my impression for my maintenance retainer (CRAZY!!). If you are looking for a Fantastic orthodontist with great staff and two locations for convince I highly recommend DR. Bowen’s GREAT BIG SMILE practice.

I was here in Arizona for vacation with my family and my wire was sliding out of the back bracket. My cousin had an appointment and I went in with him to see if they could fix it. He happily helped fix the problem with the wire for free and is an awesome orthodontist. I highly recommended him if you are looking for an orthodontist to go to. I am very thankful for his help.
