Thank you Dr. Eugene Choi for your compassion, for your kindness and for your superb dentistry skills. When people do what they say and then exceed your expectations they are quite deserving of a great review! So allow me to share my experience just two weeks ago: Without even a mild warning, I had experienced excruciating pain in an area of my mouth that persisted over the weekend. I sourced the internet for emergency dentistry. I read through Dr. Choi’s web-site and the words seemed inviting and caring. On that Monday morning I called the office and explained my emergency situation. Without any pause their compassionate and professional Business Administrator Ashley scheduled an appointment for me that very same morning! Upon arrival with no waiting, I was seen by Dr. Choi who in a most sincere and compassionate manner diagnosed my problem stating I needed a tooth extraction. He provided triage allowing me immediate relief from the intense chronic pain that I was experiencing and told me that he would perform the extraction in a short while. His assistant Elizabeth was caring and performed the preliminary duties assuring me with a kind approach that all will be OK. Dr. Choi and his team are fantastic. In today’s culture it is hard to find such a genuine and professional group of people working in the patient’s interests. He will be my Dentist for many years to come. Ira Miller, Oro Valley, AZ

I have had extensive dental work by Dr. Choi. He listened to my ideas and what I wanted. We talked about a plan. He was very caring, gentle and professional. I had several extractions and dentures. I have always had a great fear of dental pain. I have worked in the field my self for 10 years. I know the difference with subtle techniques dentists can use to help ease the pain, calm the patient and make the experience better. Dr Choi can do all of this. I have had my dentures now for 6 months and have not had any troubles with them. They are an excellent fit. Dr. Choi and his staff have given me my confident smile back. All the girls in the office are so friendly and treat you like family. I absolutely love my hygienist she’s the best also so gentle, caring, takes her time and well she always makes me laugh. Dr. Choi is an amazing dentist. He is gentle and genuinely cares about his clients. He makes me feel very comfortable and at ease while getting dental work done, which for me, is a big deal. The staff is just as amazing and caring. Overall the office has a wonderful vibe and I’m so happy I have such a great dentist!!!

I spent a lot of time caring for an older friend, then had some illness, which kept me from coming in for over a year. But Claudia kept calling to remind me I needed to come in. I finally did, and I got the same gentle, excellent care I’ve experienced with Claudia for years now. And a friendly, expert examination from Dr. Choi. Dr. Choi and his staff truly understand the concepts of compassion, understanding, and customer service. Don’t just take my word for it…ask my 98 year old Dad! He will tell you what a great job Dr. Choi did to fix his “hurting tooth”! He and his amazing staff know how to address the special needs and concerns of geriatric dentistry. Ten (10) Stars…..not just Five (5)…for a job well done!!

I highly recommend Dr. Choi. He goes well beyond the warm friendliness a patient would hope for in a dentist. I first had contact with him for an emergency. I left word with his voice mail late on a Saturday when I was in excruciating pain. Sunday morning, he returned the call and asked me to meet him in his office within the hour. Since the extraction would require the help of his staff, he numbed the pain and prescribed medication to get me through the day and night. I was his first appointment the next morning at 7:00 AM. He and his staff made me as comfortable as possible under the circumstances and the extraction went well. He carefully explained my condition, how it should be treated, and what I could expect during the procedure. That evening I received a call from Dr. Choi to check on my condition, and he kindly told me not to hesitate to call him anytime, day or night, if needed. I completely agree with the MD who recommended him as “one of the best.”

Vaterlaus has been my dentist several years why?First his staff is very caring and friendly and they are the real deal when interacting with you. Susan his financial  gal has always been wonderful in presentation of quotes and explaining all details and how they can work everything into your budget without making you feel that you are being pressured into something you can’t afford at the time.Yes this is a private office and no there is no hidden cost.  No, they aren’t the lowest in price, but you are getting quality service in return. They have accommodating schedules and are always understanding when you have to change an appt without penalty.

Today I had a tooth removed, with fear of pain and dentist in general it went very well!!! The office staff are very professional and nice. The Dentist was very good also, talk with me through the procedure. If I needed a break I got one. Thank you see you soon…

I had an amazing experience. I had all wisdom teeth taken out and I was very nervous. Dr. Choi and his assistant Alex were amazing and provided the best customer service experience. They made me feel so comfortable and calmed me down. It wasn’t as scary as i thought and was very quick and easy. Both were sweethearts. Thank you ! Definitely would recommend them!

It was a great experience. I broke at tooth last Sunday midday. I called great smile that day.Doc had me in the office the very next morning at 7. The Great Smile team took excellent care of me and made me feel right at home.I personally will be going to no other office for any of my dental need.Thank you again so much for everything.

The location of the office was very convenient I would recommend this office 100%. The doctor and was very attentive and very friendly. They make you feel very comfortable. Dr. Choi’s assistant Mayra was very sweet and compassionate. While administering the anesthesia she softly placed her hand on my shoulder giving me a sense of “everything is going to be ok”

I am an 83 year old man who had a very bad experience with a Dentist 60 years ago when I was 23. I have gone to other Dentists, but I always dreaded going. I have now found a Dentist, Dr. Eugene Choi, that I think is just great. He takes whatever time is necessary to solve the problem and he explains in detail any questions a patient has. Dr. Choi is professional, experienced, courteous and personable. His full staff maintains the same qualities as Dr. Choi. I am pleased to recommend the services of Dr. Choi and his staff. They are great!
