We initially went there for a second opinion after what we felt was an aggressive treatment plan recommended at another orthodontist practice. Dr Cassidy’s approach was totally different and she recommended we should wait before starting a treatment plan. After three visits and 18 months she recommended now was the time to commence the treatment. This patience meant a lot to us because it reinforced our feeling that Dr Cassidy was making the best treatment plan her prime focus. All of the staff are so friendly and attentive. I love Sara and crew! I moved to Seattle from Kansas (started invisalign in KS) and had heard that transferring doctors was a huge headache and extremely spendy. After an initial consult, Dr. Sara got back to me with two options – neither of which broke the bank. I transferred to GLO and have been extremely pleased. The office is snazzy and welcoming, but far more significant – Dr. Sara, Kerri, and Kailenne are prompt, incredibly kind, and very competent. *I think it’s also worth mentioning that I have a baby and have showed up to appointments with him twice when a sitter fell through. Normally, I would expect to be told I had to reschedule, but this was not the case at GLO. Kerri actually bounced my baby while I was fitted for a retainer! Not to suggest that GLO is also outfitted as a childcare facility, but really – how nice is that?!

My two children just started their orthodontic care with Dr. Sara. I will admit that I was “sold” before our consultation: – Hers was the only ortho website in Seattle not purchased from the same “ortho website sale” all the other orthos in this city appear to use. (You would think they might change up some of the language, but no.) – Her hours work with working parents’ hours. I was shocked at the hours some of these orthos post. One even says in their FAQs, “We cannot guarantee an after-school appointment.” Really? Who is the customer here? It’s already a time and financial investment. Don’t make it more painful and inconvenient. – As a kid, I saw an ortho who was just starting out, and my experience was stellar. Dr. Sara focused first on my kids, greeting them warmly with a handshake and a tour of the office. She made them feel right at home–a decision she may later come to regret. 😉 Dr. Sara has created a beautiful office space. The first appt was very thorough, and I appreciated the fact that she did not immediately sign my kids up for extractions, surgery, braces, etc., and that she did not act like she was on a time frame or mission to get us out of her office, even though it was past 6:30 p.m. (The appt started at 5:30 p.m. I defy you to find an ortho in this city with these hours.) They may need all of these things, but I really valued that she wanted some time to think about options for both kids, and that time to see what happens with less invasive approaches is a possibility for both of them. GLO was the first office we contacted and scheduled an appt. I knew immediately I did not need to interview any others. We are in good hands.

I do not write many reviews on Yelp, but Greenlake Orthodontics and Dr. Cassidy deserve one. I started at GLO right before I turned 26 and was unsure of what my insurance would look like in the coming months. The staff was so great during my free consultation and gave me a whole list of options and prices depending on what I would end up doing. I ended up securing my same insurance and went through with starting my Invisalign treatment. The ladies at GLO are amazing to say the least. Dr. Cassidy is very intelligent and attentive. The office is great, clean, and always friendly. I am into my 15 set of trays and because of Dr. Cassidy and her staff I am progressing ahead of schedule and loving this treatment. Great first consultation with Dr. Sara. I know my daughter will eventually need braces and was pretty well prepared, having come from multiple “watch and wait” appointments with our orthodontist on the East coast. The front desk and assistant staff were warm and welcoming. Dr. Sara met my daughter where she was, talking to her as if she were the customer (well, lets be honest, she is…) and explaining every detail and answering all questions from both of us. I highly recommend Green Lake Orthodontics to both adult and youth patients. I went to Dr. Cassidy two years ago and decided to get Invisalign. The office is a cheerful place, every single person working there is friendly and listens to what you’re looking to do treatment wise. After going to Dr. Cassidy I brought my 8-year old in to get an expander. My daughter’s experience has been wonderful — she likes going to the Orthodontist. They offer raffles and give the kids t-shirts — it makes it something to look forward to, not dread. I had such a great experience at my son Ethan’s initial consultation yesterday. She was able to schedule me conveniently right after our pedo appointment next door at Dr Sata’s and when we learned that we would be done sooner at the dentist they were able to move my appointment time up…not that they would need to because the office has kindle games for the kids to play with so if it were up to Ethan we could stay all day! So, I cannot say enough about Dr Sara Cassidy’s gracious manner and her incredibly natural and genuine care for her patients. She was amazing with Ethan and for a 12 year old to tell you how much they liked someone is saying a lot. Besides having a great location, beautiful office, amazing staff and being incredibly nice she really knows what she is doing and was very thorough. I was SUPER nervous to go see an orthodontist. I mean, I hate HATE going to the dentist and if people look at my mouth I usually growl at them. Maybe I’m not that bad, but I get very anxious about any mouth work. But pictures do not lie, and as I’ve gotten older (early 40s) my teeth were doing this funky shoving and rude crookedness. So I nervously went to see them, and here I am over a year later with a gorgeous straight toothed grin, and happy as could be. Everyone who works there is so nice, and super clean and not scary, and they were very patient with me and all my questions about the different types of braces, what would this do, and that, and would that hurt. And guess what? It didn’t hurt, it was just a little sore every week. I went with the Invisalign with the Accelledent, and switched out my trays every week. Except the holidays, when I went for a stretch of two weeks so that I could enjoy Christmas without braces. I highly recommend GLO!

Just finished my free consult with Dr. Cassidy and her team. First off, the office is sensational! It’s like firing up a Mac for the first time after being on a Dell your whole life. It’s not just a cosmetic thing, the office is high-tech, but super inviting and “user-friendly.” As a marketing person, I love that they understand and focus on customer experience. The consultation was thorough and not a hard-sell either. As an adult considering braces (yikes!) her team was really understanding of my concerns of being “an adult with braces” and presented treatment options, the Pros and Cons and the prices, and then left it up to me to decide. Wow, what can I say about Dr. Sara!! I wish there were more than 5 stars to rate her and her office!! My daughter went to Dr. Sara when she was at orthodontia school at the UW. She was beyond amazing with her. Not only do my daughter’s teeth look fantastic, she loved going to her appointments. Now it’s my son’s turn. He had his first appointment yesterday and, even though he knew Dr. Sara, he was a little hesitant. She made him feel so comfortable right off the bat. She toured him around her amazing office and then explained everything so he could understand. She gave us options for his treatment, but also helped us talk through what would be best for him. He came out of the appointment, looking forward to going back. She does a really fun incentive program that motivates the kids to take good care of their teeth and their health. I didn’t know I could fall in love with an Orthodontic practice, but I did! As an adult looking for braces, I chose Incognito braces and am so glad I did. The treatment was seamless and cosmetically no one knew I had braces, which was a huge selling point for me. As a business owner working with my own clients, I was not only impressed by how well Dr. Cassidy’s office treated me, but inspired to implement their customer service values into my own business. The day after I had my braces put on, I got a phone call from Dr. Cassidy, herself, checking in and seeing how I was doing. She wanted to answer any questions I might have and ease any worries. That really wow’d me. The next 21 months were always pleasant, fun and even during her maternity leave, I never worried about my treatment lapsing. The support staff was extremely warm, friendly, and helpful. My daughter was seen in a timely manner. She was made comfortable during the dental photography. Dr. Cassidy was extremely knowledgeable and patient in answering all of my questions about different treatment options. She has an excellent patient rapport and seems to have a holistic perspective with designing the treatment plan. I appreciate her philosophy of waiting to see growth/development of my daughter’s teeth and explaining the optimal timing of different procedures in accordance with child growth. My only complaint is the 20-minute wait between being seen by the support staff and Dr. Cassidy’s consultation and exam. But the overall experience with the staff and Dr. Cassidy outweighed this inconvenience. I would recommend Dr. Cassidy to others.

Awesome, just simply AWESOME, customer and dental service. If you are in any need of orthodontic care, look no further than Dr. Cassidy. Information is presented in a down-to-earth manner without dental jargon (if you have kids, you know how important this must be). The office itself is clean and high tech. The staff, including Dr. Cassidy, must take happy pills or something. Everyone I encountered in that office was incredibly upbeat and kind. I have NEVER been to a medical or dental office in which I am served cold sparkling water! HELLO! That right there was worth the cost of admission! However, the best part is an exam/consulting room that is set up not only for, well, the exam, but has room for parents to sit in and watch the procedures. The aim is clear: make the experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. And GLO makes it all look easy. Truly, its insane how on top of things this place is.

Green Lake Orthodontics offers orthodontic treatment for patients of all ages. Our mission is simple: deliver an experience so fantastic that all you want to do is talk about it. Seattle Orthodontist Dr. Cassidy is trained in a wide range orthodontic treatment types - from metal braces to clear braces to Invisalign. We'll evalute whether early-phase orthodontics, two-phase orthodontics, surgical orthodontics, Wilckodontics, TAD treatment, dentofacial orthopedics or lingual braces will be the best way to get you the results you want. Dr. Sara Cassidy graduated from the University of Washington School of Orthodontics with a clear vision about the experience she wanted to create for her patients. In March 2013, she opened the doors to her beautiful new Seattle Orthodontic practice and began seeing patients. Dr. Sara Cassidy was raised in Spokane, Washington. As the daughter of a third generation dentist who was also the first female dentist in Spokane, Sara realized early on that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. She studied classical piano, danced ballet & skied for the Mt. Spokane ski team. Her schooling then took her to Santa Clara University where she earned a B.S. in Combined Sciences & spent her a year abroad studying in Italy. Despite growing up among dentists, it wasn't until college that Sara decided her passion for medicine & art was a perfect fit for Orthodontics. She received her D.D.S from the University of Washington & subsequently completed a one year General Practice Residency through Swedish Hospital in Seattle. Dr. Cassidy returned to the University of Washington to complete a two and a half year residency specializing in Orthodontics & earning a Masters in Dentistry. In her free time she loves to spend time with her husband & chocolate lab, travel, run, ski, play the piano, dance, draw, & scuba dive.
