Finally found the right dentist and office after some poor experiences from offices with incompetent people that lacked personality and overcharged. As a business owner, I appreciated the experience of the dentist.The customer service Of the staff was the way all businesses should be.The employees and independent (teeth cleaning techs) were picked and trained well. They actually called me with reminders for appointments and to give me an option to come in sooner when they had a cacellation. After a thorough exam by the dentist, he was able to clearly explain my defects with hi-tech visuals and offered me different treatment options. He then recommended the LEAST EXPENSIVE fix (which might just be temperary), with the plan to watch those areas closely during followup exams.

The staff at Greene and Wood Family Denistry is amazing! I used to be anxious about going to the dentist, but now Veronica cleans my teeth, and somehow I am relaxed and happy! I trust her, and she always offers numbing gel for my gums, and even a blanket over me if I want that comfort! It’s evident that she cares about her patients. Anna at the front desk is also professional and yet warm and friendly, always. All of the staff that I have talked with are sincere and knowledgeable.

I’ve been coming here for years now. Dr. Wood is a phenomenal dentist. I’d seen a myriad of other dentists over the years, including the majority of the scam artists on Hawthorne Blvd (If you live in the South Bay, you know what I mean.) who just want to ream you for as much $ as possible. Their mantra is Drill, Baby, Drill! Meanwhile, Dr. Greene and Dr. Wood actually care about their patients and their patients’ teeth! I like that Dr. Wood has come up with a plan for dental care that fits my needs and goals for dental health. The team in the front office and the dental hygienists are all pleasant to work with and I’ve always been able to get appointments even within the tight confines of my crazy schedule. As long as I’m in the South Bay, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Wood then joined the Trojan Family receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene at USC. While working as a Dental Hygienist at Greene and Wood Family Dentistry, Dr. Wood also enjoyed teaching as a clinical instructor at USC. She went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Gerontology, an invaluable education that has helped shape her treatment planning options for geriatric patients. Dr. Wood continued her pursuit of in-depth knowledge and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. Dr. Wood was the recipient of the Western Society of Periodontology award for achievements in the field of Periodontics. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Western Los Angeles Dental Society. “Be the reason someone smiles today.”
