Best place to go for any dental work. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming. They won’t try to get you to do unnecessary dental work like some other places. Dr. Colaizy works hard to make sure all the work is done well and that you are satisfied. The music and TV’s make it a very relaxing experience. I would recommend this place to anyon

I have been bringing my family here for regular checkups, fillings and a root canal, for the last six years. Always great service from friendly staff. They recently remodeled and updated the entire office, so it’s a beautifulplace to go. The best thing for me is that I don’t have to sit and wait. They are always ready for us when we arrive. I would recommend to anyone.

I’ve been going to Groveland Dental for 4 years and it has been absolutely fantastic! All of the staff is friendly and the clinic has a calm and inviting atmosphere. Prior to that I had dental work done at another clinic that needed to be repaired 5 times in just the first year. My sister recommended Dr. Colaizy and after he fixed it 4 years ago I haven’t had any problems with it!

Groveland Dental is an excellent place to go for your dental needs. It’s in a convenient neighborhood location, and the entire staff is very friendly with great customer service. I’ve always felt very welcome there, and trust each of the staff members to do a good job and ensure that I have a great experience every time. I’ve had everything from teeth cleanings, to cavity fillings and even porcelain veneers. Each time the service was excellent and very efficient. The location is in the process of renovating, and I think it’s exciting that the practice is expanding and undergoing construction to allow for even better service and accommodations to its clients. I would recommend Groveland Dental to anybody, and look forward to continuing to give them my business.

It’s hard not to feel vulnerable at the dentists office. Groveland Dental is a super small clinic with a comfortable and intimate environment. Dr. Colaizy has the hands of a surgeon and the voice of a yoga instructor and if that, in combination with the spa music and netflix nature imagery playing above your chair, doesn’t put you at ease, nothing will.

I feel compelled to say the negative review of Dr. Colaizy’s customer service and care as a practitioner must a distorted opinion or an anomaly experience. I came to Dr. Colaizy to repair a crown that was the result of bad dental work 10 years ago. I had gone in with a minor chip on a tooth for a veneer, and the dentist drilled my tooth down to almost nothing. The dentist that fixed it said at that point even a crown would be somewhat iffy, he guessed I’d get 5 years out of it. I got 10 surprisingly, but sure enough, when it did fall out it was not easy to repair. Rather than present me only with the options that were costlier and more financially prudent for himself, Dr. Colaizy discussed all the various options (implant, bridge, new crown, etc) with me, the downsides and benefits of each, and the best cost-reward ration option. At that point he made his professional suggestion while still allowing me to weigh the options myself and ultimately arrive at the decision with no pressure. I felt informed and engaged throughout the process, and certainly felt like he cares highly about the quality of the work. I will be going back to this dentist for all my future work, major and minor.

The good doctor has always given me options instead of telling me there is only one way to do things. I had several teeth going bad for years and knew I was going to lose them. I’m glad I found Dr. Colaizy. He put me at ease knowing that the teeth could be replaced with implants. I was surprised at how little pain and discomfort I experienced through the whole process of removal of the teeth, bone grafts, and placement of the implants. I love my new teeth!

Wonderful! I have been going to dentists all my life (of course) because I’m 49 years old, and the dentist here is top-notch (plus, the dental hygienists). I’ve had cavities filled, a root canal done, and two crowns, plus my wife goes here, too. They’re gentle, they’re nice, they’re local (St Paul Mac/Groveland neighborhood), and when they have to do something that my dental insurance doesn’t cover (root canal or crowns), the cash price is reasonable (the same as when I used to get root canals and crowns done at my old dentist in the suburbs. Note that there’s someone who put up a bad review here, which I was so surprised at and it prompted me to write my own review. Yeesh, sometimes things are a judgment call, and to give a dentist 1-star because of getting a second opinion is not appropriate, in my opinion. Second opinions are always nice, but medicine is an art as well as a science, and judgment calls have to be made all the time–so to put my 2 cents in, I’m stating that my (and my wife) are 100% sure of Dr. Colalzy and his staff, and definitely trust them. Feel free to check out my other reviews–I live in St. Paul in the Lex-Ham neighborhood, I’m local, and you can rely on my opinion to be 100% honest. Dr. Colalzy and the Groveland Dental staff is tops–you’ll love them.

Every experience here has been outstanding. Brenda at the front desk is very welcoming and knowledgeable about insurance. Colleen is always friendly and works with Dr Colaizy like a well oiled machine. I never have any pain when getting work done (this includes root canals and fillings) I have a deep fear of dentist but Groveland has changed my outlook. Karli the newest member was wonderful with my teeth cleaning. Overall my many experiences have been positive!
