For the first time ever, I actually spent quality solid hour with a Dentist. From the beginning to the end, it was a great experience. It really felt like I was at a small town dentist, getting an attention that is unheard of in the bustling busy city. Nowadays, it’s so common to see all the dentist with glamorous office layout and state of the art equipments, and full of staffs. And unfortunately, all of the above contributes to office incurring additional overhead, which is passed onto the clients. Not here. McNabb practice may not have all the glitz, but you get all you need and more. Dr. McNabb was honest and and straight forward. He takes time to explain things in a simple terms. And, he also takes time to get to know you.

I’m very pleased with Dr. McNabb and how his office is run. Lacey at the front desk was very welcoming, professional, and organized. My hygienist, Monica, was gentle with my teeth while still giving me a very thorough cleaning. Dr. McNabb and Monica took their time to explain the health of my teeth and how to take care of them since they are highly sensitive to cold and hot. Dr. McNabb’s office doesn’t feel like a scamming franchise dental practice, as many other places do in a big city. This was the best experience I’ve had in Houston and do not plan to go anywhere else!

I have been a patient of Dr. McNabb’s for a number of years; he is highly trained, professional, and always takes the utmost care with my dental work. Great doctor, great practice. My experience with other dentists is they give you a laundry list of things that are wrong with your teeth and how many procedures it will take to correct them all which was always so frustrating. They are only looking at you as a paycheck, the experience at this clinic was so much better. I would definitely recommend this practice.

My longtime dentist retired. Cue sudden onset panic attack. After conferring with insurance and doing my due diligence, I found Dr. McNabb. After my visit, I can honestly say he is the real deal. He is thorough and will go over your whole dental history in order to answer all your questions. He is an educator in addition to a medical provider. I am generally really anxious at the dentist. Dr. McNabb did a good job at relieving the “every 6 month” stress. Not bad at all! Now if only this was true for the Periodontist…can’t win ’em all!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. McNabb for over ten years. Dr.McNabb continues to provide care that makes you feel like your his only patient. He spends alot of time educating you instead of just telling you the reasons you may have a problem and on preventive care. And motivates you to want to floss! Dr. McNabb has a great sense of humor. He is very thorough and genuine. I highly recommend him as your dentist.

I love Dr. McNabb. He has been my dentist for almost 10 years. He is EXTREMELY timely and courteous. He is a perfectionist in every way, which is of course what anybody would want in their Dentist. He really takes his time with each patient and it is important to him that each of his patients understand what he is doing for them and what’s really happening with your teeth. I have referred all my co-workers to him. His office staff are also very courteous, timely and well-trained; a reflection of their boss, I’m sure 🙂

I have been a patient of Dr. McNabb’s practice for over ten years. I can not say that about my previous dentists. Wow! What an amazing first visit. Dr. McNabb was very professional and did an extremely through exam. After that he spent time explaining to me in simple laymen terms what treatment was needed and why. No dentist has ever taken the time to do that! His work is outstanding and I’m always impressed by the concern he has to make sure everything is right. I’m a busy professional and I don’t have time to keep going back for problems. I also appreciate the fact that I am seen on time and not given the excuse that “the doctor is delayed”. My time is important as his time. If you are new to the area or are considering changing your dental provider, his office should be your first stop. Dr. McNabb’s office staff excel at customer service! They are always congenial, organized and very professional. His office manager, Martha, is extremely knowledgeable about insurance and will help you maximize your benefits. (Who understands that stuff these daysf???) This office may not be a “spa” but it sure feels like home. You will not find a better dental care provider in Houston. But trust me he is big on prevention so be prepared.

Hal McNabb is a breath of fresh air after decades of subpar dental care in the Greater Houston area. He is honest, and will only recommend treatment you REALLY need unlike the majority of dentists I’ve experienced in Houston and Florida. Plus, he is really competent. I had to have an old, huge Mercury containing filling drilled out today, and it was honestly pain free. He is the first dentist to ever tell me not to swallow, due to the Mercury, and so frequently suctioned, that I didn’t feel I was drowning. He recognized that this was a huge ordeal for me, (and him), and frequently stopped so that I could relax my jaw, and even massaged my jaw to help lessen the ordeal. I do not have Dental Insurance, but I am paying pretty similar to my copayment, when I had I dental insurance, through my deceased husband. I will never go to another dentist in the U.S.

I was told by a friend that this was a great Dentist and they were right! The front desk could not have been more accommodating to me. Everything was explained clearly before we made my first appointment. The doctor spent 2 hours going over my X-rays and history before prescribing a treatment plan and then gave me an ultrasonic cleaning that took 15 minutes. It was painless and made a huge difference, all the while he kept asking me if I was comfortable. I thought he payed great attention to detail and me personally. I love that he would explain what was about to happen and then continually ask if I was feeling any pain or discomfort. My second visit was to have some old fillings replaced. While working on that he uncovered another cavity and took care of it as well. I never felt a thing and he was quick. Again the doctor, staff and especially the front desk was accommodating and careful to explain charges and worked with me on my schedule for the next visit. I already have referred several friends and would give Dr. McNabb 5 stars if Google would let me!

I visited Dr. McNabb when I lived in Houston. He is amazingly precise and methodical, and always took the time to explain everything he did: he’s the dentist that got me to start flossing. Ever since I was a kid, I’d had dentists say, “You have to floss, you have to floss, you have to floss!” Dr. McNabb was the first person to ever explain WHY I had to floss, and I’ve done it ever since. Amazing practice, and I wish I could still go there.

Dr. B. Hal McNabb has been practicing general dentistry since 1987. An honors graduate of the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio, he also completed a combined three year post-graduate program in periodontics and fixed prosthodontics from the University of Bern School of Dental Medicine in Bern, Switzerland. An elected member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honorary dental society dedicated to the promotion of academic excellence, he is also a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry. He has published various papers on the epidemiology of gum disease and the microorganisms associated with it. Twice he has been invited to present original research at the annual meeting of the International Association of Dental Research. Before dental school Dr. McNabb studied painting at the Kansas City Art Institute and completed a B.A. in German and a B.S. in Basic Science at Fort Hays State University in central Kansas. He then completed his degree in Medical Technology,
