My whole family has gone years to Dr. Shapiro for our dental care. His whole office is immaculate and we never have to wait long before being called back into an exam room and having the dental work done. The staff is friendly and professional and Dr. Shapiro is very thorough and explains everything he is doing.

Staff is super friendly and amazing. I’ve known most of them for a few years. The doctor is very straightforward and explains everything in a way that anyone can understand. He is very helpful and has great bedside manner. Even when he didn’t accept the insurance I had a couple of years ago, he was still willing to see one of my children when we had an issue with her teeth, and on the weekend when my insurance had no appointments available for a couple of days.

THE BEST & SWEETEST dentist in Bakersfield! I’ve been coming to Dr. Shapiro since I was 5, so it’s been 20 years! I would recommend anyone who loves a caring and thoughtful dentist, who is very articulate and intelligent! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ much love ❤️

I love this Dental office!! I will never switch my dentist! The Staff are courteous and welcoming. The office is clean and tidy. I can always rely on my reminder phone call, which is great. I am never over- charged. I am never told that I need unnecessary dental work and I have experienced this issue with a few dentists in town. I love how punctual and timely my visits are. I am in/ out in 35 minutes. If you are in need of a competent and hard working dental group….then look no further!!

Dr. Shapiro is so detail oriented when it comes to your dental care. He always takes the time to make sure your dental care is the best that can be provided. The office staff is so personable. Very helpful and they always have a smile on there face. Need a Dentist? Try Dr Shapiro, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been going here off and on for the past 20 years. Every now and then I will try other dentists as Dr. Shapiro’s office is out of the way, but I end up going back to him. He has always been fair and provided excellent care. He is not overly-aggressive in treatment (something I respect) so I don’t feel like he is just trying to get more money from me. Also I asked if I could do xrays only 1x a year instead of the standard 2 as I didn’t see the point (I have no major teeth issues and never have) and he had no problem with that. I wish they would change locations to be closer to me, other than that I am happy with my care here.

For the first time in my adult life, I finally found a dentist I am comfortable with. Three weeks ago I had four teeth removed, and Dr. Hal Shipro did an excellent job. He also walked me through everything he was doing step by step. Oh and did I forget to mention I am deathly afraid of needles. Thank you so very much to Dr. Hal Shipro and his staff.

I have been a patient at Dr Shapiro for several years. The staff is professional, timely and bills accuratly. Dr Shapiro always explains what he is seeing and how he intends to address any concerns. Dr Shapiro and his staff are excellent. They are equally professional and personable. I have regularly had my teeth cleaned for a very long time (50+ years in the US and overseas) and Dr Shapiro’s staff is the best hygienist I have ever had work on my teeth. They are thorough and efficient, and my mouth feels clean! Dr Shapiro is great, no BS from him. He tells you clearly what he thinks you need, and how he recommends your situation be handled. If possible, he will give you options on how best to care for your teeth. You make the decision, and he is there to support you. You cannot go wrong making an appointment with Dr Shapiro and his staff.

I have been going Dr Shapiro for approximately 18 years. I have always been pleased with his work and feel he does his best to do a good job at a fare price. There was a time when I did not have dental insurance. He allow a discount for cash and allow me to get done what was needed as I could afford it. I always found him to be understanding and always taking the time to fully explain the work he does or the work that should be done. I love his new offices, though it is a bit further to travel. He has a good staff and two dental hygienists. I highly recommend Dr Shapiro and will continue to see him as long as I need a dentist.

I hate hate hate that my insurance is no longer accepted by this amazing dentist & his amazing staff. Shapiro was my dentist for as long as I can remember. Maybe since i was 10, I’m 23 now! He always made me feel so comfortable, as well as his staff. I wasn’t always the best patient sitting in that chair. I cried & scratched at the chair, but he would always stop and ask if I needed a minute. I recommend him to everyone who asks about a dentist & I will continue to do so!

They do a really good job with scheduling and follow up care! All the staff along with the dentist provide high quality care! This place is in a really good location. I recommend this place to anyone that needs good professional dental care! 5 stars

I have been going to Dr.Shapiro’s office since I moved to Bakersfield in 1997 because it was recommended from my dad’s coworkers and I have never found a reason to go anywhere else. Staff is great. Dr. Shapiro explains everything he is going to do and doesn’t try to sell you a service you don’t need. This is a great dentist office.

Dr. Shapiro has been my family dentist for many many years. I’ve had a couple of crowns, a broken tooth, and other dental issues, including routine cleaning and x-rays, and he’s always been thorough, professional, and readily accessible. He and his staff answer all questions without hesitation, and he has provided guidance on potential alternative treatments from other specialists with no pressure whatsoever. The great thing about a dentist office with the doctor’s name on the sign is that you’re dealing with a doctor. Not a corporate owned office that is trying to milk as much money out of you as they can by doing unnecessary procedures. Dr Shapiro’s is probably the most honest dentist I have met.
