Haleh Bafekr is an amazing dentist; very kind, patient and efficient! She and her staff are located in a small office downtown and are very organized and friendly. Each time I go there, I never have to wait more than 10 minutes. All my dentist appointments in the past have been long and drawn out. That’s not the case here! they are very speedy but always make sure that I’m comfortable throughout my routine cleanings and are very friendly. Would highly recommend this office! 

If you’re a fan of excellent bedside manner and not a fan of pain Dr. Haleh Bafekr is the dentist for you. Dr. Bafekr is the most gentle yet thorough dentist I have ever been to. Deep cleanings are never fun but if you have to have one you want a dentist who ensures you’re as comfortable as possible throughout the entire procedure. I’ve also had Invisalign done and she was very patient with me during the entire process even though I was not always the most diligent patient! The office staff is also very kind and accommodating. I’ve had to move my appointment several times in the past and they’re great about sending reminders ahead of time in case you need to do so. Payment and insurance terms are also clearly communicated to you which is, unfortunately, not always the case with other dental offices. The cute, comfortable office is conveniently located near Union Square, just a few blocks from the Powell BART station. The convenience is great but the kindness and professionalism is what keeps me coming back.

Dr. Bafekr and her hygienist Aba (I hope I am spelling that correct!) were extremely welcoming and efficient. My father is my Dentist on the east coast and this was my first experience in another office. I just came for a teeth cleaning, but I would certainly come back for more visits if it is not worth me flying cross country to have more work done.

New to Dr. Bafekr but I already feel at home. Everyone in the office is friendly and accommodating. Everything from the treatments to the confusing dental insurance plan is explained by the doctor and staff before anything is started so i dont have to worry about a thing. Im going to have a long list of fillings to do, but Im glad i found the right dentist. I can’t thank Dr. Bafekr , Lorraine, and Maria enough for taking such good care of me!

I was awaken yesterday at 5am with the worse pounding migraine. I called the advice nurse who suggested Tylenol, but also scheduled me a phone appt with my primary doctor at 830a. I explained the issue to him at 830a and he said to continue Tylenol. The pain subsided, but never went totally away. Today that pain woke me up again, I called Dr. Bafekr at 6am….she picked up, thank God. Saw her at 930 am, she cleaned me, gave me my prescriptions and needless to say, I’m home resting from an infection in my gums. I can’t tolerate pain well at all and I’m SO GRATEFUL to be out of pain now. Dr. Bafekr saved so many people from my angry behavior because when I don’t feel well or experiencing lots of pain, EVERYONE is the enemy lol. Super thankful for Dr. Bafekr being available without hesitation as this was an emergency for me.

I hadn’t been to a dentisit in a while. She was referred to me by a friend. She is so nice, and her staff is wonderful too. I would recomend her to anyone who is worried about going to the dentist. Very gentle and very good.

I’ve been going to Dr. Bafekr for almost 13 years — she is the most wonderful dentist! Gentle, careful, thorough, attentive, up-to-date on all the most current techniques and equipment but never to the point of forgetting all the old-school knowledge. She’s also just such a lovely human being — warm, compassionate, full of joy and humor. I’ve recommended her to dozens of people over the years, and each person I refer tends to stay with Dr. Bafekr — they only change dentists if they move out of state! She’s the best.

Dr. Bafekr is s by far the best dentist I’ve ever encountered. She makes it a pleasurable experience and her staff is also amazing.  Believe it or not she makes going to the dentist actually fun.  Dr. Bafekr is super knowledgeable and patient oriented. I would not hesitate to recommend her to ANYONE.  Do yourself a favor and go to this dentist!

I was in Bay Area for business and I noticed my front crown was loose. I asked the concierge if he knew any good dentists in the city and he referred me to Dr. Bafekr. I was so scared since I was the key note speaker at a seminar and my front tooth was falling off. Her office called my hotel and squeezed me in on a Wednesday afternoon. Apparently, my implant was cracked since my regular dentist didn’t take his time to adjust it correctly. Her staff went over the insurance estimates and paperwork and by 6 pm I was ready to smile with confidence. It such a good feeling to know that there are dentists that care for patients. Dr. Bafekr is a great dentist; very caring and gentle. I encourage anyone who has a fear of the dentist to go visit this office. It was like going to a spa, very comfortable, and great technicians working with Dr Bafekr. I am going back to every six months to have my exams. Check her out!!

I have been to many different dentist in my life and i have to say that i have found one that i will be with for a long long time. My experience with Dr. Bafekr is one of a kind, she makes me feel right at home and treats me with gentle care. All her staff are very kind and attentive. Overall, a truly great experience. I will be referring Dr. Bafekr to all my friends who are in need of a dentist. Keep up the great work.

Dr. Bafekr and her entire staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are always willing to go out their way to work with you and make you feel at home in their office. The office over all just has a good vibe going. As soon as you walk through the door you’re greeted with smiles and kindness. My children also see Dr. Bafekr and it’s a great feeling to know they are in good hands. My kids were once afraid to go to the dentist, now they can’t wait to go. Most people dread going to the dentist, but NOT ME! I love it and I love my dentist!

Great & friendly staff! Dr. Bafekr is very gentle and attentive which is great because the pain of going to the dentist kept me away for a few years! After my first appointment went well, I am proud to say I have gone to a 2nd appointment this year and am no longer scared to go every 6 months! Thank you Dr. Bafekr! P.S. I do not work or live downtown, but the drive & paying for parking is so worth it!
