My 6 year old was playing and knocked his front teeth. He was crying and bleeding. I called Dr Sun’s office and he could see us right away and had the room ready when we arrived. He is very compassionate and very patient in explaining the situation and the different options. He saw that I was reluctant to have my son’s teeth removed due to the trauma. He was very understanding of my concerns and even told me that I could think about it and go home. I felt confortable with my decision, I could not take the chance of having it get infected. He was also very good with my son and made him confortable during the entire visit: xrays, local anesthesia and 3 teeth pulled. It could have turned into a horrible day, but I am very thankful for Dr Sun and his assistant. They’ve been awesome to me and to my son.

Excellent Dentist! Receptionist has very good customer service. Dr. Sun will not do any unnecessary treatment and procedures that will bill your insurance. He cares about his patients a lot. I was here last week and was referred by my friend’s sister. My previous dentist in Las Tunas will do so many procedures that I didn’t feel comfortable with. The place is clean also that has very good ambiance. Dr. Sun is very honest that he is a gem in this Arcadia area.

Dr Sun was very kind, patience and caring. He was very informative about the deep cleaning, cavity filling, and crown procedures I needed after reviewing my x-rays. Him and his staff genuinely cared about the condition of my teeth’s heath and was able to give me an unbelievable fair price quote since he knew that I had exceeded my PPO insurance max coverage. Since i needed a few visits, they were very nice and was able to accommodate to my work schedule. Overall, i had a great experience and is delighted to call him my favorite dentist!

Awesome Service! I noticed my 7-year-old had something white coming out in pieces where her first permanent molar should be erupting. I was extremely concerned, as was my husband, that perhaps her molar was not erupting intact. As this was during the weekend, finding a dentist to see her was challenging. I came across ‘Happy Family Dental’ and noticed they were open during the weekend for emergency services. The receptionist was kind and caring. She booked my daughter for a same day appointment–she must have heard the concern in my voice. I brought my daughter in. The receptionist and Dr. Sun were extremely patient, kind, and caring. After a couple x-rays, it was revealed that the white, broken piece was bone material, and not tooth. I was extremely relieved. Dr. Sun patiently and painlessly pulled out the bone fragment and showed me the x-ray where the permanent tooth should be erupting. A couple months later, I am relieved to say that my daughter’s permanent molar has erupted nicely! I am so grateful for Dr. Sun’s excellent demeanor and skill, in addition to his kind and caring staff.

I found Dr. Sun on Yelp since his office is close to my house, I wasn’t expected too much at first, I just need to find a dentist who is close to where I live and can clean my teeth. One of my tooth had root canal at other dental office, but after the root canal procedure, that tooth is very sensitive ever since. For many years I was told that’s the gum infection but no one can make the sensitivity away. Several days after the visit, I just realized my tooth isn’t sensitive anymore! This is unbelievable! I don’t know what he did (Actually he did tell me what he is going to do while cleaning my tooth, but I don’t remember lol). Thank you Dr. Sun!
