I’ve been coming here for a few years now, I am way overdue to review them. I love this office, I drive about 30 minutes with good traffic just to come here. The dentist is so nice, he makes you feel comfortable. The office and space that you get worked done are clean. The previous dentist I went to had told me I had a huge cavity in the back if my molar. I told Dr. Ngo so he can take a look. He said that there was nothing there. A different time I had a cavity on one of my teeth and he did everything possible so I didn’t have to do major work done than just a fill. I feel like they are fair and do not do work just to get the money from me or my insurance. I highly recommend them!!

We’ve been to many different doctors that turned my 5-year-old son away because of his fear of getting his teeth looked at. He had a minor cavity and every dentist we took him to recommended sedation. I am strongly against it for a minor procedure and am so glad that I was referred to Dr. Ngo. Great dentist and great office. I have been here twice and on each visit the staff was friendly and I had to wait less than 5 minutes before being taken back to see the dentist. I’m back with my family for our usual cleaning and everything is as good as before! The first time I came here, Dr Ngo was very, very thorough with my cleaning. It felt like a deep cleaning for the price of a regular one! I was sore the following day but I take full responsibility for it. After that, I’ve been really good with flossing and that same thorough cleaning was completely painless. Dr Ngo complimented me for it. The office is in tip-top shape (I might be able to eat off the floors) and the staff is ever-friendly.On my visit there, there was a kid who did not want to go in. But the office has a treasure chest for kids (or adults if you’re a wuss) that makes the office just as appealing as a toy store. Kid walked out with a smile and hot wheels in each hand.

(…) Time to seek out another dentist and I finally found an honest professional, Dr. Ngo, DMD. My first visit… I reviewed my history with Dr. Ngo and his assistant Mellisa took full x-rays. He examined my teeth, confirming my disease was not that bad and with regular cleanings could be kept under control. He came up with a solution that resolved all my problems, keeping my teeth and relevant to my insurance plan, not his pocketbook. Note: I have had the same insurance for years. He wanted to get started on my problems immediately. He performed the following: numb left side, deep cleaning, grind down teeth to meet lower partial ( did not pull them), made a bridge across upper rear teeth (no upper partial needed), made an impression for lower partial, fixed front teeth gap with bonding technology. One visit, not 20! My next visit…I’ll receive my lower part and have my right side deep cleaned to be finished. After ten years I will be able to chew on both sides of my mouth. Dr. Ngo is a talented professional, amazing…and I’ve been smiling since I left his office.

I actually love getting my teeth cleaned…weird I know but this was the best place I have visited in years to get my teeth maintained and cleaned. The front office staff is so friendly and welcoming. They even offered bottled water to drink. The waiting area is spotlessly clean with nice magazines and a flat-screen to watch while you wait. My appt was on time and I was whisked back to get the most thorough set of x-rays I can remember. Again the x-ray tech/assistant was lovely and warm and endeavored to make my experience quick and comfortable. Dr Ngo was a great balance of information, professionalism and friendliness. You can just tell when someone loves what they do. He went over everything in detail with me and told me could floss a bit better :-)…anyhoo…my teeth have never looked better and the good news is that I had NO fillings!! Great experience!! First-time patient and I had a GREAT experience! I needed a deep cleaning and a few cavities filled because I hate going to the dentist due to some past painful experiences and it had been a few years since I had gone. Everyone in the Harbour Dental office was kind and helpful and did everything in their power to make sure I was in the least amount of discomfort as possible. So I won’t lie, my dental hygiene hasn’t been the best (hate flossing) but Dr.Ngo gave me the tough love truth about flossing. I never had a dentist that thoroughly explained to me why flossing is way more important than brushing. I also had been avoiding removing my wisdom teeth for YEARS out of fear. I got all 4 out today PLUS deep cleaning & it wasn’t that bad. I love the staff here they are so friendly (even from the first phone call to set up an appointment) I am so happy I found this dentist!!

Came in @9 am to remove not one, but THREE wisdom teeth. After we checked out my X-rays, he asked if I was prepared and I was ready as I’ll ever be. The extraction itself took him less than 5 minutes in total. It was virtually painless! I didn’t swell up like a chipmunk. In fact, I was out doing errands all day, not bed-bound as I expected. Bottom line is, he is as good as it gets people!! Experienced, friendly organized staff, super clean office. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

I have been looking for a local dentist for years as I moved here from Marina Del Rey 7 years ago and was making the drive every 6 months to my old dentist here. I finally decided to find someone and after looking around and trying a few out, I came across Dr. Ngo’s name a few times and decided to give it a try. I can tell you that he is the best! My teeth felt amazingly clean and squeaky! Not only has he given me the best cleaning but also super friendly, explains things in detail and doesn’t try to push treatments on you. His office staff is great also. On my last visit, I had a chipped bonding from 10 years ago that he fixed and it looks great. Look no further!!!! He’s the dentist you want to work on your teeth!

I had THE best dental experience here yesterday! I went in for my first exam and cleaning appointment knowing I may have needed my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Ngo was very thorough with my cleaning and actually took the time to show me what was going on with my teeth and how to keep them in good shape for years to come. It was honestly the best flossing tutorial I’ve ever been shown. The extractions I needed were also quick and relatively painless. Dr. Ngo is the best dentist I have ever had. I thought I liked one of my prior dentists, but Dr. Ngo is the best I’ve had. I don’t have great teeth. I had another dentist tell me I needed a ton of work done, Dr. Ngo said most of that was not needed. He focused on the crown on my front teeth that I had been unhappy with for years. I can smile now, proudly. He also gave me a good price since I didn’t have insurance and although it took me fifteen months to come up with the money, he honored the price and let me make payments. I am very happy with Dr. Ngo and recommend him to anyone who asks. The office is clean, plain, boring. But I don’t care about that as long as it is clean. His office staff is fine. It is mostly his expertise I recommend.

It has been 3 years since my last review of Harbour Dental and this is still the dental office I recommend to my family and friends. My family including my 5 children visit Dr. Ngo every six months and have a fantastic experience every time. My daughter, who used to fear dentists, now wants to become one! Great customer service!!! I have been going here for 2 years now and its going great, great dentist and staff. The atmosphere is calming with their spacious rooms and when it’s time for Dr. Ngo to explain the treatment plan, he gives you options. Which some other dentistry in my past have always tried to force a single and expensive procedure. I got all 4 quads of my teeth deep cleaned and as of today they are feeling healthy. Feels good to smile and know that your teeth is clean and that you are taking steps to keep them where they are supposed to be, “in your mouth”.

Dr. Ngo is really as honest and good as they get. I came here about a year ago and had to have a filling replaced and I also had a deep cleaning done as it has been a while since I had work done. He gave me a really nice offer for having all the work done and no insurance. A couple of months after the work was done, the filling came out and he immediately fixed it no charge. A year or so has passed and the filling came out while eating and it made its way to my stomach and gone. My heart skipped a beat as it’s not cheap to replace and been a year since I have been to see Dr. Ngo. Called and they saw me immediately that day and Dr. Ngo not only replacing it for free, he replacing It with crown so it won’t come off again. AMAZING!! The man is as good and honest as they come. His work is guaranteed and he’s there to help his patients and not gouge them. I moved to Yorba Linda (…) and I will travel for the rest of my life to see him. He has my trust and business for life. Thank you for everything he has done. Ohhhhhh and the office staff and assistants are so nice and friendly also. They really are a solid team in there and very efficient. LOVE HARBOUR DENTAL!!

Best Dentist ever! I hate going to the dentist but they made it quick and painless. After 23 years of being cavity-free, I was terrified of having my first cavity filled. Thank you Dr. Ngo & team for fixing my horrible root canal yesterday and for making the best out of an unfortunate and scary situation! I was very nervous about the whole process but soon felt confident that I was in good hands. I was worried that I would be in a lot of discomfort today but I feel fine and am back to work without any pain. I must admit that I’ve neglected my oral health for the past 5 years because I’m a chicken and my cavity became so epic after a piece of filling chipped off (over a year ago) that I was worried I would lose my tooth, and maybe if I went to Dr. Sketchy down the street who knows what would have happened! He and his staff have been always professional, honest and laid-back. Chann at the front desk and Sandra, my usual hygienist is very kind, professional and patient. Way back a few years ago when we moved to HB, I was drawn into another dentist office with a sale driven flyer. Big mistake. Then I found Harbour Dental on Yelp and tried them out. Staff is super friendly and on top of their follow up! They are never rude and very understanding if you are running late or need to reschedule. Assistant is super sweet too. Truly one of the best dentists that I have ever seen. The entire office staff and back staff is so nice and you really feel welcome and comfortable when at an appointment. Dr Ngo really educated me about the importance of flossing. Preventive measures are key. After a deep cleaning procedure, my infected molar was extracted. It’s been a little bit over 24 hours, but I’m feeling a lot better today! I thank Dr Ngo and his incredible, friendly, knowledgeable staff in making my visit the best possible. Dr Ngo is truly great and I think reasonably priced. He doesn’t pressure a bunch of unnecessary work but really takes care of my teeth. Over the years it’s typical that I’ve walked out of dental offices feeling terrible about how much work is recommended, and how pricey it is. But here I always walk out feeling great and knowing I am being dealt with honestly and truly being taken care of. I also really love how everything that ever needs to be done is all in one room. He has nice, state-of-the-art equipment that allows x-rays, consults, cleanings, and all other work to be done in the same room. He also has a TV on the wall and gives you the remote…and it doubles as the screen he shows you the x-rays on and other things. This doctor really knows his stuff and makes it a pleasant experience. The receptionist is amazing and is a real find! I wish all front-end receptionists were as genuine, friendly and customer service oriented as she is. I’m truly pleased with this Dentist and look forward to my next cleaning!

Dr. Anthony Ngo graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He has been practicing for over a decade in Las Vegas where he still owns three offices and opened Harbour Dental in Huntington Beach more than two years ago. Dr. Ngo maintains up to date knowledge in the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education courses annually. Dr. Ngo specializes in general dentistry, implants, cosmetic dentistry and sports mouthguards. He is committed to providing gentle, caring, and quality dentistry in his offices. On his spare time, he enjoys cycling, traveling and spending time with his family.
