I echo all the positive reviews for this place. I had amalgum fillings replaced, plus a porcelain crown done and a teeth cleaning. All three were of the highest quality, professionalism and craftsmanship. I didn’t have to second guess what materials or products they were using, as I know they only carry the best. I communicated with Dr. Yuko to time everything properly so that I could get all of the work done in as short a period as possible, and she was very helpful. I will say that getting amalgums out wasn’t the most comfortable experience, but I would go here again in a heartbeat because I know they followed the safest protocol.

Without question, the best dental care I have ever received. Dr. Yuko and her staff are caring, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to ensure that I have a great experience every time I’m at Harmony. I love how committed Dr. Yuko is to delivering holistic (mercury-free, mercury-safe and minimal fluoride usage) services. It is a great feeling knowing that your dentist truly cares about your overall health and well-being. I give Harmony the highest recommendation -they are exceptional!

Hands down the best dentist in Boston! Dr. Yuko and her staff are wonderful. I have been to several dentists in Boston due to them leaving their practice or not feeling comfortable with the dentist because they look at their screen when asking questions and not me! Dr. Yuko is amazing. Not only is her work impeccable, but she really makes you feel part of your care. She speaks directly to you, looks you in the eye, fully explains issues and why you need the work she is recommending. I know that shouldn’t seem out of the ordinary, but I have been to many dentists that don’t do this. Dr. Yuko and her staff also create a wonderful environment. They are a great team. Dr. Yuko is a natural teacher and explains things to her staff as she is doing work. Her staff are all extremely caring, as well – JoJo, Julissa, Esther and Mitsiku were all very accommodating and it’s the only time I have ever felt relaxed at the dentist. I even fell asleep during one appointment! I no longer dread going to the dentist. Thank you for the great care!

The entire staff is professional, friendly and patient-oriented. The atmosphere is spa-like. I was welcomed with a neck pillow and water and benefited from the modern dental equipment and imaging technology. My dentist was very informative and gentle. This place is awesome! I’ve noticed that some of the best doctor’s and dentist’s offices I’ve been to have a common trait: their front desk people actually seem to enjoy being there and working with each other. Every single time I’ve come in the front desk has been so pleasant. ALSO they always tell me how much I’ll owe them for services up front, after taking my insurance into account! Not enough medical institutions keep this in mind. I found this office because I was looking for a dentist’s office that had a more holistic mindset and treatment style (I grew up at medicaid dentist’s offices, and would not recommend). They always explain everything I have questions about (thank you) and I have lots of agency around what procedures I’ll do or not. They’re also very gentle, thorough, and COVID-cautious. They also recommended me to the best place (Luca Oral and Facial Surgery) for a necessary wisdom teeth removal (infection). Both these offices fulfill the best qualities I talked about–happy front desk people and upfront about costs.

DR. YUKO is a GODDESS. She is smart, HONEST, knowledgeable, and highly skilled at her craft. I have had traumatic experiences sitting in a dentist’s chair but in Dr. Yuko’s care, I nearly fell asleep during my first visit! She is patient, personable, reassuring and you can tell that she takes pride in what she does. To add, Dr. Yuko is one of the few healthcare providers who treated me with dignity and has made me think far differently about healthcare. Her rates are expensive but she is worth every penny and then some. Unlike other offices, Dr. Yuko determines a treatment plan of care and in the event that her findings are different/less than the original quote, she will bill you for the lesser price. Dr. Yuko truly is a “person of the people” AND lightyears ahead of her competition. I cannot recommend her enough; she will always be MY Boston dentist.

The creme de la creme in dentists. Dr Mayr & Dr Yuko are top notch plus so kind. I had a horrendous experience with a former dentist. Harmony has been such a blessing–I totally trust Dr Mayr. He addresses all my concerns & questions patiently & thoroughly and is a pleasure to deal with as is everyone at Harmony. Truly, a model dental practice–I’ve referred a number of people to them. I had 3 extremely old silver-mercury fillings removed responsibly & safely and replaced with composites there. Unfortunately, the mercury in those amalgams, unbeknownst to me at the time, had been leaching & offgassing toxic mercury which ultimately caused a stage 4 tongue cancer diagnosis in 2016. Mercury is a known carcinogen. Absolutely, no other risk factors–never smoked, no HPV, very minimal alcohol use but thankfully I’m fine now–and am so grateful & glad I found Harmony. It’s an outstanding holistic dental practice plus they accept Care Credit which allows one to pay in installments for an extended period without interest. By the way, everyone should ask for a Velscope/Oral ID oral cancer screening once a year. It’s a handheld tool that shines a blue LED light in your mouth that detects malignant changes in the oral cavity. If my former dentist had offered it when I first started complaining of diffuse oral pain that persisted for over a year, I might have been caught at stage 1 or 2 instead of 4!

Harmony is absolutely the best dental office I have ever visited. I had a complicated case due to concussions. They made every accommodation and use the latest technologies to make the work go as smoothly as possible. Plus they found a problem that two other dentists missed. Comfortable, caring, bio-forward dentistry at its finest. I wish they could teach other dentists for the benefit of all.

I took my 2 year old son to the dentist and had a wonderful experience. The dentist treated him with respect, gave him toys to play with, and was able to view his mouth and advise on treatment. Gave us an awesome toothpaste for kids that works to treat any buildup. The dentist seemed extremely knowledgeable in alternative dental practices and I really liked the feel of the office which was like walking into a spa complete with the administrative staff offering water right away which was super thoughtful.

I went to Dr. Torigoe after a dental chain’s repair job of my bridge broke days after it was done. She was meticulous about making a composite repair that looked like my other teeth and spent time explaining to me all my options and pros/cons. Never pushy. The office was clean, new, and spa-like. The team is very welcoming and treat you like an individual. It was the most comfortable dental experience I’ve had in Boston.

During a trip to Boston I found myself with sever toothache and had to find a dentist quickly! I chose Dr. Yuko due to her convenient location and great reviews. The assistant took an x-ray and Dr. Yuko examined my tooth. After explaining my options she treated my tooth. It was a little saw for a few hours. By the evening I felt no pain at all. Dr. Yuko was friendly, caring and informative. I highly recommend her.
