I, much like many other people, find dentistry somewhat uncomfortable…. That all changed when I met Joe and Brian Harris. Honest, sincere, careful, caring, funny, talented, knowledgeable, EVERYTHING you could ask for in a Dentist or a friend. Even their staff are 5 star professionals all the way, but you feel as comfortable as if you were with family in your own home. A few years ago, I had a dental emergency at 8’Oclock in the evening, during the Christmas holiday and I called Dr. Joe. 30 minutes later, Dr. Joe met me at his office and fixed me right up… Good thing because we were having Christmas Pictures taken the next day. Wow! Dr. Joe Harris is not only a great Dentist but a truly great man and humaritian. I went in for a lower jaw bite guard as recommend by my oral surgeon for teeth/tongue issues. These issues have plagued me for years. I came expecting to pay a great deal for these custom made guards. Not only did Dr Harris do a great job with the guards, he did them at no cost to me. He understood my anxiety with my condition and was more interested in helping me then anything else. I can’t begin to express my gratitude to him and his staff for their generosity. If you are looking for a Dentist, you should look nof further. Dr. Harris is the BEST in every sense of the word. Thank you!

OMG. Like seriously. If you want the total celebrity smile outcome and will not settle for anything less because you are a total perfectionist, you absolutely NEED to go to Brian Harris. I am not messing around. First of all, he actually cares. No, I mean it. He treats you like his own sister (or brother, for you dudes) and will not stop until you are 100% thrilled with the result. But one of the best things about him is that he always KNOWS what looks the absolute best for you and is always current on all the newest ways in the aesthetic dentist world to make it happen! Just embarked on a major reconstruction of my teeth on the bottom. Dr. Joe had already done a complete makeover on the top a couple years ago. I was just catching my breath financially to getting the lower teeth done. As usual it has been a pleasure, they don’t make me wait, they do everything they can not to cause me any pain, and they work with me on paying for the services. It does not cost a lot more to go first class and they back up the work that they do. I know that I am getting the best possible care for a fair price.

This was the most excellent customer service, and dental treatment experience I have ever had. From the receptionist Kerry, and the hygienists Annie and Lisa, to the dentist Joe Harris D.D.S.; everything was exceptional. As a Customer Relations Analyst and Human Resources Specialist, I can confidently say, this dental group is outstanding to their patients. My father was a GM of a prominent Cosmetic Dentistry Lab for 15 years, and I have had many opportunities to be in contact with many dental offices. In Phoenix from out off town. Broke a tooth that required a same day crown. I called the Phoenix office and spoke with Nancy on Monday. I wish I had gone to Harris Dental years ago. This office is fantastic! I had been unhappy with my previous dentist for years, but like many, I dreaded changing. First, Harris Dental has the most modern technology and equipment. Everyone is well-trained, professional and experienced. They are prompt and efficient. The communication is excellent…you know what they are doing, and why they are doing it. They also listen to your issues. Dr. Joe made adjustments on my first visit that totally improved the appearance and feel of my mouth. It was so quick and dramatic, I couldn’t believe my previous dentist hadn’t offered that service years ago. I really trust the recommendations of these people. My husband has changed to Harris Dental too and comments frequently on much better his teeth look and feel…and he really didn’t have issues to begin with!

I liked this dentist (Dr. Joe) so much, I actually signed up for a Yelp account so I could write a review. Outstanding Dr / Patient care. The process was seamless. the staff OUTSTANDING! since the costs were an issue with other posts, I got an estimate for a large amount of work. I then went with my pictures and x-rays to another dentist. they were actually 2K higher. I had a bad experience as a child and avoided the dentist for years. To say I was apprehensive is mild. They took the extra time to help me through the procedures comfortably. I will definitely recommend Harris Dental to my friends and family.

Best dentists around. Everyone there, from the receptionist, to the dental hygienists, to the dentists, treat you like family. The office has all the newest technology and therefore a quick turnaround on things like crowns. You feel very comfortable (which is not always easy in a dentists office) from the moment you walk in. You can watch tv (any channel you like) while getting your procedures done. I recommended them to several friends and everyone agreed once going there that they would never go to another dentist. I now live in CA and drive back for any dental work. You leave feeling confident in the work you had done, and truly feel like an individual they care about rather than just another patient. As a relative newcomer to the Valley, I selected Harris Dental based on their reputation, and over the course of several visits for both routine hygiene as well as a cosmetic dentistry procedure, I have found that their reputation is well-deserved and worked-for by everyone in the office. This has been evidenced in every interaction I have had with anyone in the office, whether on the phone or in person, from the receptionists to the dentists themselves. Dr. Joe and Dr. Brian are warm and personable, skilled and efficient, but never rushed. Their passion and dedication to their profession felt singularly focused on me and understanding the outcome I was looking for with respect to repairing teeth damaged in an accident. Dr. Brian went far beyond anything I could have reasonably expected to repair the temporary crown I clumsily and thoughtlessly damaged on a Friday evening, meeting me at the office at 11 PM that same night (yes, 11 PM!) to patch me up for a charity event I was supposed to attend the following morning. Amazing level of service! Likewise, the hygenist I have seen through repeated cleanings has knowledgeably guided me back to healthy gums with extremely practical suggestions (namely, water flosser) after a few years deferred dental care due to multiple moves left me with sensitive, receeding gumlines. I’m releaved and excited to be back on track to a healthy smile with tangible, measureable results. Ultimately, I am very grateful to have found a dental provider that so clearly strives for excellence in every facet of the service they provide their clients.

My husband and I have been with Harris Dental for well over a decade. We appreciate the always-outstanding service that we receive during our semi annual visits: on-time appointments, staff who take time to connect with us as people, and gentle, informative dental practices. We have never once felt like we were being “sold” services that weren’t needed. I personally opted to pursue Invisalign with Harris Dental in 2012, and my smile is as good now as it was the day that the aligners were removed. (See picture.) But more than that, my teeth and gums are healthy! The dental education that I received just by coming in twice a year has been life-changing. A quick tip for parents – bring your toddlers here! Our two daughters have had regular dental appointments with Harris Dental since turning two-years-old. They both have had positive experiences – in spite of a cavity fill for the oldest – and they have no fear of going to the dentist. In fact, it’s quite the opposite! They beg us to visit Harris Dental.

Dr Harris is the best! I had an issue with a couple missing teeth and a few that needed to be straitened out. Prior dentist had recommended implants and braces which would’ve been very costly. Hands down the best dentist and dental office you will find. Dr. Joe is simply one of a kind — a true family man and people’s person. At my initial visit, Dr. Joe spent an hour chatting with me about everything you could imagine. Of course we spoke about oral health and my own “dental goals” and he sat down and reviewed all my x-rays and intra/extra oral photos with me. He even pulled up some of his past dental cases to show what kinds of things he could achieve with my smile. Dr. Joe seems to have found his calling in taking care of people and their smiles and he does it in such a careful and gentle manner. His office staff is top notch and there’s a loyalty they have to their leader whom they love and admire. Susan was my hygienist and once again I was impressed with how thorough she was in both the cleaning but also with the helpful instructions she gave regarding home hygiene. Just when I thought I knew everything about oral hygiene, Susan was able to add new elements to my home care and my mouth has never felt better. I could list some ideas here but you should go in and find out directly from her! The staff is so professional from the first phone conversation to the courtesy reminders and the attempts to get me scheduled despite my own busy schedule. I certainly appreciate their above and beyond customer service. This team definitely exemplifies the Wow Factor. If you’re reading this review you may be looking for a new dentist office. I hate dentists. I’ve been thru quite a few of them. My last dentist did quality work, but pain management was not an area he was good at. Then, I found Harris dental. They are amazing. My cleanings are amazing, and they fixed my teeth, that were in bad shape. The difference is that Harris cares about esthetics, not just a fix it and go. They are patient, and will make it the most comfortable procedure it can be. Do the they try to push some things? Yes, but no more than any other dentist I have been too. When finances are a issue, they will be complexly honest on what you need to keep your teeth, and what is just to make them pretty. I finally have a smile that I am no longer self conscious about, and I will continue to see dr Harris as long as I can

Dr joe.. Man? Miracle?.. My hero!!! I was ashamed and embarrassed to seek much needed dental work. I finally mustered the courage and scheduled consultation with HARRIS dental. Dr joe took his time and fully explained the services needed to make my smile beautiful. His assistant Jackie answered questions and helped schedule a payment plan to fit my budget. Still reluctant Lisa, an absolute angel phoned me and we spoke at length about the process and the procedures I needed moving forward. Finally I went in for my first appt and I felt like royalty! I was treated with music, a blanket, completely put at ease. Dr joe performed 2 fillings and a crown with no anesthesia!?! Who does that?? DR JOE! I have worked for a top doc plastic surgeon for over 15 years. When I walked into Harris Dental office I was amazed. I felt like I had walked into the most exquisite office I have ever been in. Having worked in the medical field since 1987 in family practice, ob/gyn and plastics I can’t help but “grade” a office when I’m there. When I began my career with one of the most esteemed plastic surgeons in the Southwest I learned what it took to have stellar office with stellar employees offering stellar service. Harris Dental is STELLAR. The employees are so pleasant and happy. It shows in the staff. Last but not least…the dentist are superior. I would look no further for the ultimate in care. We moved out of town in 2009 but we have never forgotten the superb dental care that we received from Dr. Joe Harris (who had come highly recommended from our Austin, TX dentist as a person who keeps up wth dental research). Nor have we forgotten the fabulous and uniformly cheerful staff. So it wasn’t really too surprising that we received a call from Harris Dental a few days ago – more than three years after we moved away – asking for permission to archive our dental x-rays and asking where they might send funds from a credit to our account. I had to hire another dentist to run the office for 4 months until I graduated. Once I graduated, I started at the practice with 1 dental assistant and 1 front desk person. I did my own cleanings for several months until I was able to hire a Hygienist. This was back in 1979. I grew up on a farm milking cows and all I knew is that I didn’t want to keep doing that. I did well in school and knew that I wanted to go to college. I moved out when I was 16 years old, but still milked cows to pay for college. I would milk cows from 2:30am – 8am and then go to school for the rest of the day. I was burned out! My Scout Master asked me to move to Arizona, which is when I met my wife Marcene. She was 16 and I, 18. After my mission, I went to school for Pre-Med. Marcene was working for a Dentist at the time. One night she came home and said, “My Father is a Physician and he was rarely home growing up, and the Dentist I work for gets to spend a lot more time with his family than my Dad did.” It was then, that I decided to be a Dentist. Over the years I’ve enjoyed creating beautiful smiles, but I’m most passionate about the relationships I’ve created with my patients, my colleagues and my team. I’ve always said that my family comes first. They are my priority! Now that my kids have grown, my grandkids are at the age that I can do fun stuff with them. I always looked up to my Grandpa and he spent quality time with me as a child, I want to be able to do the same for my grandkids. I was born in Idaho. We moved 12 times by the time I graduated from high school. I ended up in Arizona because I love it here and I love my wife, who doesn’t want to live anywhere but here. Through my affiliation with Crown Council, I have been able to meet several like-minded people who are extremely remarkable and do a lot of good. I have been able to contribute to that good and some day when I retire; I hope to do more humanitarian projects. I don’t love one specific charity over the others; I just love to help change people’s lives.
