I’ve been going here for years. Dr. Hickman is very skilled and super nice. It’s very clear that he knows what he’s doing and he has great attention to detail. He makes the dreaded trip to the dentist painless and easy. All of his staff are incredibly nice and treat you like genuine friends. I couldn’t ask for a better experience each time I go.

I read the reviews before going here and I’m so happy I listened to the reviews. I was a little late due to a car emergency and one of the receptionist was kind of rude about it but other than that the staff was amazing and there were so sweet and comforting and made me feel so comfortable at their office. The tv on the ceiling is such a brilliant idea and really takes your mind off of what’s being done. They also have a cool area for kids in the waiting room which is great for families. Also I’ve always had to use nitrous oxide which calms me and it’s complementary which is amazing. Dr. Hickman is amazing and i was bragging about how great this place was all day. I was in an out in less than an hour and had xray and a filing done! How many times do you leave the dentist happy and bragging? Go visit them you won’t regret it 🙂

Top notch dentist in the area. Been going here for 3 years now and every experience is more pleasant than the last. Dr. Hickman is extremely friendly and thorough. The dental hygienists are fantastic and do a wonderful job. The office setup is really clutch, they have 2 TVs in each room, one mounted on the wall and one on the ceiling so when you’re getting worked on you look up and BAM there’s a TV. They even ask you what you want to watch before you sit down. Also when you leave they have cookies at the front desk, what more could you ask for? Great doctor, great hygienists, great staff, great office. If I didn’t live locally, I would commute to go to this dentist.

I love Havens Family Dental!! I live in Clintonville and was a patient of Dr Hickman when he practiced here, but now I travel all the way out to Blacklick so I could continue seeing him. Very friendly and professional staff, as well as top of the line equipment and facilities (Including a TV mounted to the ceiling to watch during procedures) Dr Hickman is great! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else at this point. I am so happy with their work and would recommend Havens Family Dental to anyone and everyone. You will not regret making Dr Hickman your primary care dentist

Dr. Hickman has done several crowns for me.  Sessions were all absolutely pain free, comfortable and therefore anxiety free.   All work I have had done there was done right the first time.   A real thumbs up on Dr. Hickman’s skills and demeanor.   He and his staff are always pleasant to me.   After trying several other area dentists, I found Dr. Hickman about 6 or 7 years ago and he is my permanent dentist now.

My teeth were cleaned completely and well by an excellent, friendly hygienist using high tech, modern equipment. Dr. Kyle Hickman performed a very thorough examination of my teeth and mouth after my teeth were cleaned. All of the staff are quite courteous. Havens Family Dental is an outstanding dental practice.

I stopped by (in a terrible mood) without an appointment with a cracked, very painful tooth. Luckily, there had been a cancellation and they could see me right away. Dr. Hickman (awesome guy) the dental hygienists, and the front desk were all very kind and helpful. I feel like they went above and beyond assisting me and making me comfortable. Thank you, everyone! I’m super glad I stopped by and I will definitely now use Dr. Hickman as my permanent dentist. The office is also very nice and clean. I thought they were affiliated with the urgent care next door but they are not!

My family and I have been using Havens Family Dental for a few years now and absolutely love it.  Dr Hickman and his staff truly are friendly and professional.  Even with young kids (ages 13, 10 & 6) needing teeth pulled, cavities filled, etc, they still look forward to coming in! They have collaborated well with our orthodontist and I never have any issues getting or rescheduling appointments.  Clean and modern office and equipment.  Highly recommend!

From the first time I started going to Haven’s family dental, I felt like a member of a family not just a patient. Dr. Hickman is super friendly and professional and always answers any question I may have about treatment/preventative care, etc. The staff is especially friendly and personable. Denise at the front desk is awesome and very knowledgable when it comes to insurance questions and pretty much everything else. Love it.

Hands down the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office. From the moment you walk in the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I have anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist so I truly appreciated how EVERYONE took the time to walk me through the process and explain everything thoroughly. I highly recommend them, and look forward to returning for my next visit!

The staff was super friendly. This was my first visit. I had a crown come off and my regular dentist could not get in till next week. My husband had been here before and spoke highly of them. He was been wanting me to try them for awhile. I really wasn’t wanting to change from my dentist,  been going there for years.  When this crown came off I decided to give them a call.  They were able to fit me in quickly. They were amazing.  After this visit I will be transferring to them for all my dental work. Give them a call,  you won’t be disappointed!

I was extremely happy with my experience at the Havens Family Dental. As soon as I walked in, the staff was very welcoming and made me feel at ease. I have had some serious dental problems which made me emotional and the Dentist as well as the staff totally understood my pain. I didn’t feel judged or anything. They offered me many options so I can reach my goal of having a prefect smile. I recommend this dental to anyone who wants the best of care.

Great experience!! The office is very modern, clean and relaxing, and the staff is super friendly and upbeat. Danielle the hygienist who did my cleaning was fantastic! She was very thorough and informative. Dr. Hickman is wonderful too! Very knowledgeable and super easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend this dental practice to anyone!

Dr. Hickman and staff are excellent. I took my 2 1/2 year old to an appointment with me today and the staff talked to him as they cleaned my teeth and sent him home with his own goody bag/toothbrush. He’s told everyone about the experience and he brushed his teeth no less than four times today. They impressed me as much as they impressed him. He’s now ready and excited for his first cleaning.

For my first time I had a great experience. I was super worried because I hadn’t been to the dentist in nearly 3 years, but they reassured me and gave the great news that I didn’t have any cavities. I didn’t feel judged for not flossing as much as I should, but they were very knowledgeable and demonstrated alternative manners of flossing such as the soft picks. Dr. Hickman is a very pleasant man! 🙂

LOVE dr Hickman and all the staff at havens family dental! They make an effort to know their patients personally and always give exceptional care! My husband used to be terrified of seeing a dentist but ever since he started seeing dr Hickman he’s had no problems. We even followed him from his old practice which I had been going to my whole life.

Our experiences with Havens Family Dental are always exceptional. Everyone there is friendly, patient, helpful and professional. Dr. Hickman is great! He always takes the time to explain what needs to be done and prioritizes those needs into a treatment plan so that you can take care of your most urgent needs as your budget allows with no pressure at all. I needed a new dentist quickly and I was so lucky they built Dr. Hickman’s office up the street from me. I have been going to his office for the past 2 1/2 years now and rather than being afraid to go to the dentist, my fear doesn’t happen when I get there. Everyone in his office is absolutely wonderful and the office itself is impeccably clean and the moment you walk in, you feel a sense of calm. (strange, I know!) Highly Recommend this office for professionalism and rapid/efficient/honest/effective service. You are in great hands!

I searched for years to find a dentist I felt comfortable with and one that did not make me feel like I was just another set of teeth to clean. Havens Family Dental has always made me feel welcome and comfortable. They did a better job educating me about my specific dental needs than other dentists I have seen in the past. The staff is willing to take the time needed to show you what is going on and what needs to be done. I trust them 100%. I am always greeted with a smile and I have never been dissatisfied with any services I have received. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
