I have been going to Dr. Bimbli’s for almost 5 years and I tell you I fear the day I would move too far from them because I don’t know if I can find another dental practice as good as his! Everyone single one of their staff members is highly professional, kind and eager to help. First and foremost the people at the front desk, Patty and especially Isabell are superb! Isabell has been working with me and my family all these years and I tell you she is very considerate of your time and money! When I was still attending UCLA, she made sure to consider my college-life schedule when helping me make appointments taking into account the fact that I would have to drive back home or I’ll only be back home for a short amount of time. She would always try to make sure that everything I would need to get done will be accomplished within a day or so. Most of the time this allowed me to get my cleaning and if needed get some fillings done. I really appreciate also the time she takes to explain to me the procedures and the insurance side of things. She is very patient and definitely answers all my questions (post-grad life, need to learn all these things now xD adulting!!) leaving me completely satisfied and reassured and she always tells me if I have any questions to feel free to call her 🙂 I love that they definitely try to help you save money! Recommending how to go about things when it comes to insurance!!!!!! So never hesitate to ask questions! All the doctors, dental hygienists and staff always make sure you are comfortable. I love that they go above and beyond and that they really care for their patients. I remember one time one of the female hygienists took a little extra time to make sure my teeth are completely cleaned (I swear I flossed more after that!). One of the male hygienists or dentist or assistant (sorry I don’t know D;) always makes me laugh and always makes sure I feel comfortable!! But what really compelled me to finally write a review for this place is how much care and concern Dr. Bimbli showed me when I finally agreed to get my wisdom teeth extracted. He has been explaining the procedure to during each visit and after 4 years of trying to delay the procedure as much as possible, I could no longer do so since these bad boys were starting to say hello to the world (and they were punching, pinching and just being plain mean). I delayed my procedure because I was traumatized by my friend’s wisdom teeth extraction experience from another dentist. When my friend got his wisdoms pulled he bled a lot and took a very long time to heal! On the day of my extraction, I was slightly nervous both because of the pain and the impending post-op experience. I even asked Isabell if it would be possible to order my medications ASAP, so I can just go to the pharmacy to pick it up, she explained to me that certain meds she can order ahead for me while others I would have to go in person for identification check, but told me she would double check with Dr. Bimbli before the procedure (which she did). When Dr. Bimbli came in, he gave me a thorough run down of what is going to happen and may happen after the extraction. He explained everything as nicely and as reassuringly as possible, whether he does this to all of his patients or remembers that I have been avoiding this procedure as much as possible his calmness and confidence in his ability to perform this procedure helped calm me down and feel that I was in the best hands possible! Even during the extraction, he made sure I was comfortable and was attentive to any signs that I was in pain. It was funny when you are under so much anesthesia you really don’t know what is happening in the numbed areas! I was clenching my hands together so hard (mainly due to fear not really due to pain) that he noticed and told me I can calm my hands since he already took out the tooth. After the first tooth was out the rest were pretty much a breeze (especially the top ones). When the extraction was done he even asked me if I wanted normal stitches or the ones that dissolve, telling me that the normal ones hold better but if I live far the dissolvable ones were a better option if I don’t want to come back for them to remove it, so living close and wanting them to check the healing progress I asked for the normal ones. Once the procedure was done, he made sure I understood the medications he was prescribing and how to take care of the wounds. A week later and ALL IS GOOD!!!! 😀 My wounds healed up nicely and I wasn’t under a lot of pain at all! Dr. Bimbli explained that he tries his best to make sure that he only makes small incisions, unlike other dentists who may try to make larger holes to make the extraction easier the consequence being a long healing process and a lot more long-term pain. Overall Thank you!! Tip: When using the yelp voucher, bring a print-out to make the process easier 🙂 They are new with this system and are still learning but they will still honor it!
