Dr. Helen Lester is by far the best dentist I have ever had, and I’ve had good dentists throughout my life. She’s highly skilled, patient, kind, and very conscientious. She and her staff always make me feel welcome. They are very accommodating and professional. The work Dr. Lester and her team provides is as close to pain free as it could possibly be. I have been a patient of Dr. Lester for about 25 years. Having experienced at least 10 different dentists in my 73 years, I can say she is absolutely the best. Her staff is always professional and friendly. As for Doctor Lester, she first cared for me as a dental technician, and was the best and gentlest tech to work on my mouth. That has carried over into her dental practice.

I am so happy I found Dr. Lester! She is everything and more that I want in a dentist…she is so smart and so skilled and uses the latest technology…AND she and her staff treat me like a VIP! She’s always on time and is very patient in explaining everything, I never feel I’m being rushed. Her fees are very fair and the office manager, Lindsey is really knowledgeable about insurance. It was evident from my first visit that she cares so much about her patients! My 86 yr old mother started going to her too and Dr Lester is just so sweet and respectful to her…my mom loves her and my sister has become a patient too…we are Team Lester all the way!!!

I made a post a few years ago, and things really haven’t changed. Visiting Dr. Lester and her staff is as close to going home as visiting the dentist could possibly be. Dr. Lester (Helen) and her entire staff are caring, fun loving and are always warm and seemingly happy. Sherry is a great hygienist and is very gentle. The front office staff greets me the second I walk in the door and are always happy to carry on a conversation. A good working environment is always a great reflection of its leadership, and they don’t make them any nicer than Helen. I highly recommend my friends, Dr. Lester and staff!

Dr. Lester and her team give Nordstrom’s level customer service and genuinely care about their patients. I am new in Eugene and chose a new dentist based on insurance accepted, good yelp reviews, and convenient location. I have a disability and was very pleased with the convenient parking, automatic door at the main building, and not having to navigate any steps or uneven surfaces. The office is beautiful, clean, and in a nice building, for the same prices that I’ve been accustomed to paying anywhere else. I was given a frank assessment of my teeth, basically that all I needed was my regular cleaning and that I would benefit from using a smaller toothbrush head. Super news! I did return for my cleaning and am more than satisfied with the comfort level of the cleaning and the results. Office staff is friendly and accurate. My appointments started on time and i was informed of their communications with my insurance at each appointment. Bonus-there is a very well stocked coffee shop in the building! I highly recommend Helen Lester DDS.

Dr. Lester is my favorite dentist. I miraculously found her after a year of stressful diagnoses and treatment of periodontitis. She is simultaneously incredibly skilled/smart and has the best bedside manners, and so much empathy! She has on several occasions helped me make some important and thoughtful decisions about how to proceed with my treatment. Also, the rest of her office is amazing, too — SO organized, attentive, efficient and nice.

Don’t search any further, call right now and make an appointment!! Y’all, Dr. Lester and her staff are amazing! I moved here from Florida and needed a dentist in the area. First time I called to make an appointment, I spoke to Linsey and she was so sweet! My first appointment felt like I had known all the girls in the office for years. Right off the bat you can tell Dr. Lester knows her stuff. Jen, Jackie and Sherry are super great ladies and made me feel comfortable. Basically, everyone here rocks and I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things!

Dr. Lester and her assistant were GREAT! I haven’t been to the dentist in a while and was a little nervous of what they would find, but Dr. Lester was quick and straight forward, addressed all my concerns, and it didn’t hurt at all. I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I am for the service provided to me by Dr. Helen Lester and her team. I knew the minute I spoke with Lindsey that I was in good hands. She was so helpful and reassuring that I would be taken care of. I have severe dental anxiety, as many do, but I found myself completely comfortable in their capable hands. Not only was Dr. Lester the first person to greet me (Never in my 24 years has this happened) with an incredible, kind and caring demeanor, but Jackie was an absolute delight as well, calming every nerve I could’ve had walking in. I believe Heather was my hygienist, and she was also a sweetheart. I am pretty sure they thanked me at least 60 times in my time there. I had some major dental work to be done and had concerns about costs, Jackie and Dr. Lester went above and beyond to confirm that my insurance was going to work for my budget, I DIDN’T HAVE TO MAKE A SINGLE PHONE CALL. I’m so used to going in being verbally berated by hygienists and by the time I leave, feeling so down on myself after hearing constant criticism. My experience was the exact opposite. Not only did they continuously empower me about my smile, they were EXTREMELY gentle and aware of my sensitive areas. These ladies should be giving courses on customer service. I already have my next five appointments booked because they were sure to get me in before the end of the year to help me use all my credits on my health benefits cards before they expired. Scheduling my appointment here is one of the better things I’ve done in my adult life and I’m so grateful for the care I received.

In October, I had a pinhole surgical technique procedure performed by Dr. Helen Lester. Compared to the previous procedure where skin was scrapped from the roof of my mouth and grafted io my gum line, to correct a receding problem , this was a piece of cake. This new procedure was painless and very successful. DR. Lester is quite pleased with the results which pleases me. I hated the roof scraping procedure which really was painful. I would recommend this pinhole procedure to anyone needing to correct receding gums. Dr. Lester is great! I enjoy her and can tell she loves her profession. Check her out if you want to find an innovative dentist who has state of the art equipment and techniques.

Two of my work colleagues recommended Helen Lester, and I was not disappointed. She is amazing! I was able to address an urgent matter with my tooth very quickly. Helen and her staff communicate clearly, patiently, and thoroughly. She explained all the options, and I was able to make an informed choice about my care. Helen listens, and is responsive to your concerns and needs as a patient. The rapport she has with her staff is impeccable. True pros! She is gentle, calm, and reassuring. Helen and her staff members explain everything they are doing, how its going to feel, and how it all fits in the context of the procedure. Over the decades, I have never felt as comfortable in a dentist’s chair as I did with Helen. And this was for a tooth extraction! The evening after the procedure, Helen personally called to ask how I was doing and to let me know that she was calling in a prescription. The most important consideration–of course–is the quality of the medical care you are receiving. Helen is clearly a master of her profession, offering a great deal of expertise, practical experience, and dedication to her dentistry practice–and her patients. Can we give out six stars? Seven?

I’ve seen Dr Lester since she was a hygienist in the early 90’s. I have had bad dentists in the past that not only ruined my teeth but cost me hundreds of dollars through the years because the damage can’t be undone. What a relief it is to finally have a dentist that knows what she’s doing, knows how to read an x-ray and is sensitive to issues around pain. She never does unnecessary procedures and explains everything thoroughly. The hygienists she employs are always excellent and stay for years. Her waiting area is like a living room and the staff are always warm and engaging. The facility is state of the art and there is no one I trust more to work on my teeth than Dr. Lester.
