I have been going to Dr. Kwon for about 10 years. During the first few years there was some major work that needed to be done, including root canals, implants and replacements of old fillings. Over the past 6 years it has been primarily semiannual checkups and cleanings. For both the major and minor stuff, Dr. Kwon (and his staff) have been outstanding. I am seen promptly at appointment times, the work is done efficiently (with minimal discomfort) and the followup is excellent. I am never pressured into getting treatment that isn’t really needed. Everyone from Dr. Kwon, to the hygienists, to the office staff is thoroughly professional, competent and just plain nice.

Dr. Kwon has been my dentist for several years. He has done implants, crowns, fillings as well as fitted me for a mouth guard needed for sleep apnea. Having had dentists for over 60 years, I can honestly say he is amazing at what he has been trained to do, kind always and very accommodating. This is perhaps the best dentist I’ve ever seen. Dr. Kwon does some of the best work that I’ve ever experienced. The other dentists I’ve seen in the area don’t even compare. I had a root canal today. Dr. Kwon over the years has helped me work through my sheer terror of dentists. Numerous terrifying experiences with dentists in my childhood and teens nearly ruined me. He and his patient and caring staff, from my gentle hygienist who talks to me and explains everything she’s doing, to Vanessa in insurance and Dr. Kwon’s personal assistant have completely turned me around. They are a true Godsend for me. I’ve built a comfortable rapport with “my” medical professionals there and they make sure I always see them at each visit which really puts me to ease. I will never ever go anywhere else. These folks truly care about me and it makes all the difference in the world. I’m so grateful to Dr. Kwon and his staff for saving me!

Super friendly and caring staff from front desk to billing to hygienist to doctors. I have been a patient here since the age of 2 and I am now 33. Betty has been my hygienist from the very start and is pretty much feels like family at this point. Due to unforeseen circumstances I have had to miss my last 3 routine cleanings and needed to get in ASAP. Unfortunately, Betty was not available for a few months. Luckily, I was able to get in with Courtney within a week. This is my first time meeting Courtney and I was super pleased. Very personable and talked with me as if I were an old friend. I typically see Dr. Kwon, who is phenomenal, but he was out of the office at this visit so I got to see Dr. Ben and I was very pleased. I have also referred friends here who have had issues at other offices in the past and they absolutely loved their experience here. Thankful for these guys!

As a person with great dental anxiety, Dr. Kwon and the amazing ladies there have made me feel the most comfortable, that I ever have at any dentist. I’ve moved around quite a bit, so I’ve had too many different dentists in my life. I am more than just a number to them. I haven’t had dental insurance in many years, with my 1st visit they made me feel comfortable and non judgmental because I was embarrassed and ashamed. On my 2nd visit I was very nervous to get a couple of teeth extracted and he was so gentle with and stopped to inject more numbing medication as I needed, have never had a dentist do that nor do polite and caring. Made me comfortable for my upcoming visits to start my next rounds of treatment with them. Highly recommend! Have never had a dentist so gentle, careful, and also taking the time to explain everything in detail. I am very happy I found and choose this office to start my road of procedures to feel confident with my smile once this is all finished, as of right now I will never go to any other dentist again! I would recommend this dentist’s office to anyone seeking a new dentist for whatever reason. I visited Dr. Kwon and he was the best! The office is courteous, utilizes the most modern techniques, and provides for an overall comfortable experience. This coming from someone who has harbored a genuine fear of dentistry since childhood. I give them five stars! Would definitely recommend them to family, friends, and cohorts. I tried the sedation dentistry and that was really a good option for me. If you find that you are very nervous and uncomfortable when visiting the dentist’s office, then sedation dentistry is definitely the way to go!

Dr. Kwon is the perfect dentist! He has a fantastic personality and is very well rounded in the topics he shares with his patients. My daughter, son-in-law, and I are all patients of Dr. Kwon. My son-in-law avoided dentists for years until visiting HP Smiles. Even with the extensive amount of dental work he had to have, due to years of neglect, he is still very comfortable with Dr. Kwon. I have been going to this practice since 1978 when they were in the old HP medical building. Dr. Kwon has done a fantastic job taking over the practice from Dr. Harris. Office staff is always helpful and Betty is one of the best hygienists around. My family moved to Greensboro almost two years ago and I still drive 30 mins because of the service I get (it could also be the massage dental chairs).

This was by far one of the best dentist experiences of my life. I hate the dentist, truly. It’s a necessary evil I’m afraid and today the staff and the doctors made me feel so much better after. Not only did they yank out two teeth (painlessly), but they didn’t “dr talk” me or treat me like an idiot. It felt more like a private team there to solve my problem. That’s a different experience for me and I’ll most certainly be a regular because of it!
