I’ve been going to Dr. Welch for some time now. His office personnel are always polite and professional. I’ve never not been taken in for my appointment at the appropriate time. I had an emergency and they were able to get me in with very little problem. I have recommended him to other patients and they have been very happy. He offers honest, no nonsense advice and you won’t end up paying for procedures you don’t really need.

Amazing group of professionals! Dr. Welch did an amazing job fixing a chipped tooth and a filling. I was nervous but I didn’t even feel anything going on as they worked on my teeth. The work came out perfect. I have had prior work done by Dr. Welch. Another dentist made it seem like I had one expensive route to get the work complete, Dr. Welch gave me other affordable options. He has been my dentist of choice every since. They even have late appointments on Tuesday’s!

I have been a patient for nearly 35 years and have had lots of treatments – cavities, root canals, crowns, bridges and extractions and sometimes emergencies. All multiple times for each type of treatment. Dr. Welch is great. I can honestly say every single treatment during those many years was thorough and efficient. He is very concerned about the patient’s comfort and his use of local anesthetic is as good as it gets. I wouldn’t dream of going to another General Dentist in this region. The only reason I don’t have false teeth is the care he has provided. Also, throughout those many visits to his office his staff has changed, but they are always helpful and efficient. There should be a 10-star rating for Dr. Welch and his staff.

Very professional from start to finish. Courteous receptionist and nice waiting area. Dr. Welch is a wonderful, caring dentist that plays great music in the dental procedure rooms. The billing office is prompt and efficient. I have never had an insurance issue. I highly recommend Dr. Welch and his staff.

Dr. Welch’s office is great. My husband and I are new patients and both had extremely positive experiences. The staff are incredibly friendly. The hygienist, Rikki, was the best I’ve dealt with. She answered all of my questions, told me exactly what she was doing and what to expect, and was much more gentle than most hygienists. Dr. Welch is very friendly, as well. I highly recommend!

Dr. Welch is my favorite dentist of all time. His shots are entirely painless, he has a wonderful chairside manor. The hygienists are equally as pleasant. Each room has a TV, a large window with a nice view. I never have to wait long to get work done and I always leave there feeling like I went somewhere fun, instead of the dentist. All my family members in Baton Rouge now go there.

I have seen Dr. Welch for 10+ years. After having a true fear of dental work, I could not have asked for a more understanding dentist who takes the time to welcome you, ask how you are doing, etc. The ladies in the office are so very nice and personable. They provide a comfort level and are skilled in their jobs. Also, if you are considering veneers he is the very best! I had mine done almost 10 years ago and this is not to brag, (because this is Dr. Welch’s handiwork) and I have to say it makes me happy every time I brush my teeth. Best investment ever!

This is the best dental center ever! So professional and so nice. They make me enjoy going to the dentist which is not usually a thing for me. Brittany is the BEST hygienist/assistant. She loves what she does and makes me love and care for the general care of my teeth. They text me every time I need a cleaning. Dr. Welch listens very well and has taken care of every cavity and root canal. I recommend this dentist to everyone!

Dr. Welsh and his team members are careful, gentle, and skilled. I have been going there for many years and have had no complaints. My lack of serious, painful issues is probably the result of their long term care. Patients face a pleasant garden when in the dental chair. Dr. Welsh’s Dad originally made and cared for the garden, and it is being maintained now he is gone. I do highly recommend Highland Dental Center and have heard good things, particularly from a friend who had some complex and serious problems solved.

Hands down the best dentist, hygienist and staff in Baton Rouge! I’ve been going here for almost 25 years and they are like family! I moved away to Florida for two years and still made the trip every 6 months to come back to see them! Your emergency is important to them and he’s the BEST shot giver–you won’t feel a thing! These guys are great. I have dental-phobia and dental-procrastination. Dr Welch and his staff are gentle and thorough. They had some really cool equipment for x-rays and photos of my teeth. Then they showed me exactly where my problem areas were. I believe because I saw the pictures–I appreciate the honest opinion I received. I know because the last dentist I went to said I needed 11 fillings… All that said. You can’t beat the view of the back yard. It’s so serene. I highly recommend this business.

All my dental experiences have been more or less the same. The staff here are very friendly. The dental hygienist was very personable and diligent. She cleaned my teeth thoroughly and quickly. Almost every time I go to a new dentist they tell me I have cavities which isn’t a surprise for my teeth I wouldn’t doubt them. Sometimes it’s hard to really trust new dentists, but luckily this time they said I was cavity free yippee. Very nice dentist as well. I’ll continue visiting this dentist office while in BR.

When I had a question regarding the bill, the office staffs took it very seriously and explained it in a professional way. Although I found out it was my calculation error and insurance policies that confused me, I really appreciate their attitude towards their work and patients. My husband and I will definitely stay with them.

When I moved to Baton Rouge many years ago, I asked a friend to recommend a dentist. Their preferred dentist wasn’t accepting new patients, but the office recommended Dr. Welch. Since then, I have used Dr. Welch for routine exams and cleaning, dental fillings and some cosmetic dentistry. I’ve been happy with the results. Dr. Welch isn’t listed online or in the phone book under his name, so you will have to search under Highland Dental Center. Immediate appointments may not be available unless it’s an emergency”
