Highlands Smiles provides the best dental care in Denver! They go above and beyond with their safety precautions necessary during COVID-19 times, yet, it’s not burdensome. I’ve been going there for several years now and have always been impressed by their professionalism and impecable work. They are amazing!  Thank you for your service during these uncertain time.

Amazing experience today! I had my first visit with Highland Smiles, and I am so happy to have found them (referred by a friend). I came for a second opinion, and the dentist told me I didn’t need the work a previous dentist suggested, and showed me why. Saved me so much time and money, even though their honesty obviously kept them from earning the money for a crown. They were fast, professional and kind. Yay!

Highland Smiles is an excellent dental office. The dental assistant took care to mind my sensitive areas while providing an exceptional cleaning. My wisdom teeth are pushing through making it painful to open wide. The dental assistant was very understanding and patient while trying to fit the x-ray equipment in my mouth. The dentist was equally understanding and respectful. I appreciated the way both, the dentist and dental assistant explained what they were going to do before each part of the exam and cleaning. I am completely satisfied in the way I was treated and will definitely recommend this dental practice to others.

To be perfectly transparent, I’ve only been here twice so far. However, both times have been really great experiences. The front desk staff has been very friendly, and more than happy to explain how things work at their office. The dental hygienists have all been thorough, considerate, friendly, and great at not causing pain. I’ve been to some places where they are pretty aggressive with the cleaning, and I haven’t felt that way here yet. I’ve seen both dentists so far, and both have been very kind and more than happy to offer explanations or suggestions. The scheduling process is really easy. The online check-in, reminders, and text notifications are really helpful. Don’t have enough good things to say really!

The best dentistry I’ve ever been to. Been going for several years and they are consistently amazing. Female led…great diversity among their staff…friendly environment…great care and service…it’s a very well run operation they’ve got going on. I actually now look forward to going to the dentist! Never thought that was possible.

I’ve been going to Highland Smiles for a few years now and they have always been very friendly and efficient. I like that you can make appointments online and also confirm appointments in this manner. The front desk is also fantastic and kind. I’ve been seen by Dr. Rohleder and Dr. Arnold and they are both fantastic! Any work that I’ve needed has been done in timely manner and with the utmost care. They have also been able to see me on short notice if I’ve had any tooth pain or discomfort. Their office has great energy overall and I trust them to take care of me and my husband for all our dental needs.

I had a tooth brake and I needed a crown. They fit me in on a Monday which was great(the tooth broke on a Sunday). Super friendly staff. Painless procedure. I was explained in detail what was going on and what would be happening. I appreciated that. The Dentist was obviously busy but never felt like she was rushing and was really nice! All the staff was really nice and for a Monday which also was a holiday I appreciated that too. They even checked when I first called if I might be covered for this. I wasn’t. But that’s life I’m just glad I found a place to fix it so fast and was painless all around.

I visited for the first time today and was extremely happy with all of the doctors and staff. They provided great care, were thorough in their explanations and super friendly. Highland Smiles really made going to the dentist not suck, and I will definitely be returning. The one minor hiccup was when an OutKast song came on over the office speakers and whoever was in control of the music skipped to the next song. But we all make mistakes.

A well run dental office, with honest and friendly staff that are keeping it real with you and not trying to swindle you into any unnecessary work! After having a bad experience at another local dental office, Highland Smiles was refreshing and homey. My husband and I both loved our first experiences and are excited to go back!

I can’t say enough positive things about this dental team. In the past I have had less than desirable experiences at the dentist. I went for 26 years without a single cavity and then all of a sudden had about a dozen. Before coming to Highland Smiles, I got most of my cavities filled but the experience was bad since I wasn’t numb during many of the fillings and the dentist seemed apathetic to my pain. After those experiences I had a hard time finding a dentist I could trust. A couple months passed but after a really bad flare-up and not having filled my remaining cavities I reluctantly starting searching for a dentist in Denver where I was on rotation at the time. I was referred to Highland Smiles. I told Dr. Rohleder my concerns and she was able to put me at ease. I found out I not only needed to get my cavities filled and some replaced that hadn’t been properly sealed, I also needed two crowns. Dr. Rohleder sat down with me and we came up with a treatment plan and schedule that worked with my work obligations. I was so scared (TERRIFIED) but she made sure I was comfortable, numb (gave me a little more anesthetic and did tests to make sure before starting drilling), and even gave me an ipod to listen to music and relax. No only that, it was also nice that I was able to get my permanent crown on the same day as my appointment, instead of wearing a temporary and coming back. Her hygienists and receptionists are top notch and super kind as well. I felt like my needs were genuinely tended to and I was taken care of. I am so grateful for this dental practice. If you need a new dentist or are in need to dental care, I highly recommend coming here. It is in a convenient and safe location and the facilities are bright, new, and friendly. My experience was so good that I have even considered arranging my upcoming dental cleanings around when I’ll be in Denver next! Dr. Rohleder is an EXCELLENT practitioner and her entire time is extremely qualified.

Who knew I could look forward to going to the dentist?? I do though because these ladies are the best. My son needed emergency care once I grabbed him at school during lunch and I was back in clinic for the afternoon! They fixed and refixed a stubborn tooth of mine and my hygienist yesterday was awesome. Initially recommended by a Denverite when I first moved here who’d been in an accident and had extensive work done. Luckily for me you are around the corner!! Just saying – these guys are awesome for the easy and the complicated!!

My husband and I have been going to Highland Smiles for years and have always had a very good experience. The whole crew is great. They’re super friendly and they get the job done. They check all the boxes but I never thought to write a review until today. It was my second visit with our daughter and she left as their biggest fan. After she dug into her post cleaning goodie bag (toothbrush, kiddie floss, timer and a couple of small toys) she exclaims, completely delighted, “The doctors nailed it!” She’s 3 and officially loves the dentist!

I had a really great visit here! It was my first time going and I felt very welcomed and like I was in good hands. Everyone here was very knowledgeable and had great tips to improve my dental health/habits. After previous bad experiences at other dental offices, Highland Smiles was a breath of fresh air and a great experience 🙂 Everyone was very gentle and kind. Highly recommend coming here!

I’ve loved my 2 years and Highland Smiles! I’ve had dental work and also teeth whitening done and they’ve made me way more comfortable than I’ve felt at previous dentists. The women that work there, from the front office to the techs to the two doctors, are warm and friendly. I’ve received great medical care without the judgement or guilt that I’ve at times felt from other dental practices.

From the moment I walked in, it was an excellent experience. Positives: 1. People are incredibly friendly, courteous and professional. 2. I was surprised at how large and modern their facilities and operation are. Because I’d filled out the forms online in advance, my wait time was very short. 3. The four words I’d use to describe this dental office: Friendly; Courteous; Professional; and Efficient. Challenges: 1. The only real challenge I found was parking in the 32nd Street area. The office is next to the trendy restaurants. So be prepared to make a loop around the block to find a parking spot.

This is a great place. Everyone here is super friendly and they do wonderful work. I had moved to Denver recently and needed a new dentist. A co-worker recommended this office and I couldn’t be happier. Had x-rays and a cleaning on one visit, and came back the following week for a crown and fillings. Both times everyone was personable and professional, and just a great atmosphere and great service. Obviously going to the dentist isn’t a fun experience, but as far as dentists go, These guys are great. Highly recommended.

I have been a patient at Highland Smiles for two years since my previous dentist retired. This is a very friendly, progressive and professional dental practice in the Highland District. The office area and dental environment has been recently updated and is very comfortable and modern. From the moment I enter, the office manager and front desk reception welcomes me. Doctor Jen Rohleder and her chair side assistants and hygienists are highly qualified and gentle to provided excellent comfortable dental care. They make me smile.

My family and I have always received friendly and personable care at Highland Smiles. So much so that my daughter actually cheers when she has a dental appointment. I’ve always appreciated how down to earth both Dr Arnold and Dr Rohleder are and their willingness to thoroughly explain procedures and thought processes, even once giving me a hand mirror to observe a procedure because I was curious. Recently, however, I am particularly grateful for the compassion I received as well. I happened to call in with tooth pain right before they were closing early for Thanksgiving. Nancy guessed that I would probably need a root canal referral. She even offered to make the appointment for me because I was addled with pain and in the middle of cooking. Thanks to her perceptive help and thoughtfulness, I was actually able to enjoy the meal I had made! A month later, the root canal is reinfected. The endodontist (not their usual guy -day before thanksgiving…) was dismissive because I was not in sufficient pain, even though I was weak and dizzy with infection, and sent me home without double checking. I called Highland Smiles for advice. They listened to all my symptoms, agreed they indicated infection, reassured me I wasn’t crazy for thinking it was the root canal, offered to follow up with the arrogant endodontist, and got me in for X-rays. Dr Arnold examined my tooth, explained the cause of the new infection, reassured me that it hadn’t spread, and would be taken care of with antibiotics. I left feeling relieved and cared for as a person.

I’ve been a patient of Highland Smiles since moving to Denver in 2019. My experiences with the front office team, dental assistants, hygenists, and Drs. Rohleder and Arnold have all been fantastic. They offer wide array of services and are really willing to go the extra mile for their patients. They also value the safety of their patients and it shows in the form of rigorous COVID protocols. I truthfully can’t recommend this team strongly enough, I’m a huge fan of Highland Smiles!

This office is AMAZING! They got me in quickly for an urgent problem  even though I was a new patient who they had never seen before. Then, when I needed an emergent referral to an oral surgeon for eval the office manager did not stop until I had an appt the same day. They had excellent clinical judgment, they were kind, timely and had wonderful communication. I cannot say enough great things about this clinic!!

Overall, I was pleased with the care I received at Highland Smiles today. Friendly/experienced staff, and honest with everything that was occurring in my mouth. No up-selling occurred of any products or procedures as has been my experience at prior offices, and I left with a much needed cleaning and plan of care before my next six month follow up. Definitely will return.

I just had my first appointment with Highland Smiles! When walking in I was greeted by a very happy staff and was impressed with the friendliness of the front crew. To make things better there was no delay for my scheduled cleaning and evaluation with Alicia. Alicia really sealed the deal with making this visit an exceptional one. She was professional and went above the standard in explaining what she was doing, why, and shared the steps needed to improve and maintain my dental health! Once again thank you Highland Smiles for the excellent business!

I found my new dentist! I went here as a new patient this Monday and was absolutely blown away by the friendliness of every staff member I encountered. I had not been to a cleaning in 2 years, I know I know not good. They took their time cleaning my teeth which was much appreciated. Still no cavities 24 years later 🙂 And apparently July was new patient month so I got a free Sonicare toothbrush! Holla! I already made my next appointment for 6 months from now. You know you’re getting older when you’re amped up that you found a great dentist ,but it’s true this place is awesome! Dr Kara Arnold and team were the best of the best.
