I’ve been coming to Hillside Dental for almost 5 years now and am very impressed. The staff is so nice and sweet. Dr. Forster is an incredible dentist and also happens to be hilarious. Even though going to the dentist is not my preferred activity, I usually have a good time and leave with a smile! The hygienists are great as well – super thorough and caring. I’ve had typical cleaning care as well as more heavy duty procedures and have been very happy with my care. They are great for emergency work. Highly recommend!

When I called Hillside Dental due to a toothache, they got me an appointment the next day. Dr. Forster was congenial and professional, as were the dental hygienists and office staff. Dr. Forster checked often that I was not in any pain during the filling and temporary crown procedures. When my temporary crown broke two days later, they got me into the office on the same day to fix it. don’t believe it broke due to any issues on their part. They are the best dental office I have found.

We have been going to Hillside dental for over 10 years now. What I like most about this dental office is that they do not try to generate dental work that is not needed as our prior dentist did. Dr Forrester works with your insurance limits. If you end up going over the limit he will see if part of the procedure can wait until your police renewal. That is a big savings for us. The staff is friendly and I love the massage chairs.  Our entire family goes to this office to have our smile cared for. Thank you Dr Forrester and staff.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Forster’s for almost 10 years. He and his staff have always been very professional, kind, and informative. Dr. Forster cares a great deal about the quality of his workmanship. In fact, when he wasn’t pleased with the results of a crown that I had, on his own accord, he asked if he could replace it at no extra cost. I am very happy with Hillside Dental at Bethany and whole-heartedly recommend them to friends and family alike.

Excellent dental practice, everyone I’ve been helped by over the years here has been wonderful. Caring and professional staff. Dr. Forster is great at making patients feel at ease and does amazing work! No one tries to upsell me on procedures I don’t need, and work that is done is completed efficiently and with care. Highly recommended, best dentist in greater Portland area!!

Covid-19 is out there, (don’t let anyone tell you differently). I’ve personally known 2 people that contracted it. One said it’s awful, don’t disregard warnings and precautions. The other died in August of it. The dental group is following healthy practices pertaining to Covid-19, (masks on, took my temp, verified I wasn’t having symptoms). They are also staggering appointments to allow for a good cleaning after a patient leaves. I’ve gone to this dentist for about 4 years. The 2 ladies who greeted me at the front desk were very friendly and efficient. The dental hygiene person was thorough, (a steady hand that caused me no pain). She was also very nice, (personable). Later, Dr. Forster came to talk with me. As with his employees, he too is very nice to work with. He asks questions, listens, explains what he believes needs to be done and either begins work if time allows, or gets you into the schedule for future work. In the past, I had a dental emergency, (he took me in immediately). One evening, I accidentally pulled a temporary cap off, (evil candy). I was taken in the very next day, to put it back on, and I wasn’t charged for them to do so. I used to live 5 minutes from his office. For the last 2 years, I’ve lived 50 minutes from his office, but I drive the distance because going there is worth it.

We shifted to Bethany Area last year and got associated to Hillside Dental at Bethany. They welcomed new patients and took good care of me and my wife as well as our kids. Dr Forster in the last year helped us handle some very difficult situations by giving us the guidance we needed. It’s a pleasure to engage with the staff here, to setup appointments and handle my insurance as well. Glad we found the right dental practice for our family.

I first was going to a dentist in Cornelius, but after they quoted me a insane amount for a few fillings that I needed and a few that I didn’t need, I was looking for an alternative route. I was referred to Hillside Dental and had my dental records transferred to them to see if I could get a better deal. They quoted me about HALF of what the other dentist was asking. The experience inside the actual office was pretty surreal, something I never experienced before at the dentist. First I walked into the front office, which was loaded with healthy drinks and snacks, as well as the deal-breaker, a huge massage chair, which I settled into while filling out some paperwork. I didn’t have to wait more than a minute or 2 before they came out and called my name. As I settled into the chair in the back room for my cleaning, I was pleasantly surprised as the chair, previously foreboding and scary, transformed into yet ANOTHER massage chair. So I was getting my cleaning as well as another back massage at the same time. (Don’t worry, when you’re getting fillings or anything more intense than a cleaning, they DON’T have the massage on) So, anyways, all in all, by going to Hillside Dental, I saved a load of money, had a fantastic job done on my fillings, got a few free massages, and walked out with a delicious granola bar and a can of Juice. Highly Recommended!!!

Not only is the dental care provided at Hillside impeccable, from cleanings to fillings to major restorations, but this is also complimented by the best front office staff I have ever engaged with at any medical or dental provider. They are patient, understanding, and tenacious when dealing with difficult insurance companies. They make it easy for me, which is always appreciated. THE BEST IN TOWN!!

Everyone is very kind, from check in to check out. Scheduling as a new patient was easy and informative (thanks Jodi!) I work in healthcare as well, and I really appreciate the attention to detail and safety, especially given the current circumstances. My cleaning was my first time without my mask on anywhere aside from home and I felt very safe. They didn’t just stop at the requirements for reopening, they made sure to take it the extra mile and I appreciate that sincerely. Brandi made sure my teeth have that great, “just went to the dentist” feeling!

I really like Hillside Dental at Bethany. Dr. Forster is great, as is Beau, my hygienist. The office mgr, Shana, is very professional and on top of things, I’ve always been impressed with her. I really appreciated being able to get a Saturday emergency appt to replace a veneer; I’ve lost 2 mouthguards and they’re way more reasonably priced here than at my last dentist. I’ve been with Dr. Forster for about 5 years now. Love the massage chairs, OJ, tea and other nice things while you wait. I can highly recommend this place
