We absolutely love coming to this dentist for the care of our children. Every time welcomed with the nicest staff from front desk, to hygienists to dentist. They care about the kids, ask the parents for concerns and educate on childhood tooth loss/care. The kids were fancy glasses, have a TV in the ceiling to watch while their teeth are worked on, sucker and sticker and other fun added touches. Dr. Hines is amazing with kids and very personable. I will continue to recommend all my friends to come here. It’s worth the drive from Marysville area 2 times a year!

I LOVE this dentistry! Every single staff member truly makes us feel so special while we are there. I never feel rushed, and they are AMAZING with my 5 year old daughter. I know it sounds cheesy, but I feel amazing when I walk out the door because everyone was so positive and uplifting while we were there. My daughters are 2 1/2 and 5. While my wife and I love our dentist we wanted a pediatric dentist for our kids. The care they’ve recieved at Hines Little Smiles has been outstanding. Our daughters enjoy going to the dentist and are forming good oral hygiene habits that are reinforced with every visit. Our girls get excited when their appointments are coming up and that’s a great outlook on going to the dentist. It’s in no small way due to the excellent care and service we get from the staff at Hines Little Smiles.

We LOVE this office! My kids (now 6 & 8.5), have always loved this dentist office and always beg to go back! They get disappointed when I say we can only go twice a year. They are AMAZING with kids and do awesome work! I have not met anybody that I haven’t liked! The office is very clean, and I feel like I can let my kids play while they wait (this is a huge deal to me)! Seriously, this office is AMAZING!!!

They sit still for her teeth cleaning because it is so kid friendly and comfortable! This was our first visit to Hines Little Smiles and everyone was very nice, we were called back before I could finish the new patient forms, our hygenist was excellent with my daughter and the whole appointment was quick and to the point. The waiting room, although not there long, has a play area which my daughter and several other children loved. My only (minor) complaint was the text messaging system. It felt a little excessive but not the end of the world and may be helpful had I forgotten about the appointment. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Yesterday was a tough day for my son; he had to have a procedure unexpectedly. I cannot even begin to describe the compassion shown by the staff. My son had a lot of anxiety about the visit to begin with and mama had a case of mom guilt. They took the time to explain every little detail to my son to make him comfortable in words and ways that are befitting for a child. Hines Little Smiles is an amazing experience for children to learn the importance of taking care of their teeth. Dr. Hines has created a fun, healthy, and exciting dentistry practice. My 3 sons are always eager to go to the dentist. The staff here are friendly and comforting. My son needed open heart surgery and Dr. Hines helped fix his teeth in preparation for it. She saved us a lot of time, money, and grief by taking care of my son herself, and not sending us to a surgical center. Even though it was more work for her, she was willing to do all three procedures in the office along with her patient assistants. We had an excellent experience with Hines Little Smiles! The environment was completely created for kids comfort and fun. The staff was phenomenal! My son had to have a filling and before the procedure began, the dental assistant spent a great deal of time explaining what the equipment was (in kid terms) and what they were going to do to him. He got to choose a “cool” pair of sunglasses and a cartoon of his choice to watch while they were doing his filling. Would recommend to anyone with kids! They make it all about the kids!

Always so great with my shy anxious daughter. She now likes to go to the dentist because she knows she gets tokens at the end for things! She always wants to play in their really cool playhouse, but we always go back right away! Today I came separately, and as soon as I walked in they said you must be (insert name) mom, come back with me. The night before my appointment for my 6 year old she was terrified. From the very beginning walking in the door everyone that greeted her had nice smiles and great attitudes. By the time she was in the chair she was way more relaxed then I thought she would be, then the dr and everyone else was very nice and explained everything they were wanting to do before they did it. Love this place! My 2 year old daughter has been here 3 times and each time we have seen a different dental hygienist and doctor and EVERYONE has been so extremely friendly and accommodating. I am very impressed with the level of care and compassion everyone has showed my daughter. They had a “menu” of fun toothpaste flavors and she was able to pick her flavor. Then they played Mickey Mouse for her while she got her teeth cleaned, and was given a fun goodie bag & lollipop at the end. As we were leaving I asked if she had fun at the dentist after we left and she said “yes!!!” I think she can’t wait to go back 🙂

I took my newborn to have his lip and tongue tie fixed and was so so impressed with our experience. The office is adorable and super clean. The entire staff is so friendly and personable and accommodating. The dentist took her time answering questions and making sure we felt comfortable with everything. I never felt like she was rushing to get to the next patient. After the procedure, the dentist checked in on us three different times while I was feeding the little man to make sure everything was going okay. I highly recommend!!!

My daughter started coming here when she was around 2, after she chipped a tooth. They are absolutely fantastic! When she was littler, she sat on my lap with her head on the lap of the assistant for the cleaning. Now she’s a big four year old (well, actually a small in stature four year old, but still a Big Girl), so she gets to sit in the chair and watches cartoons above her head. Like most kids, she’s nervous about coming but even when she cries in the appointment, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure it ends on a good note. Case in point – today’s misadventures in dental cleaning. Rod was our dental assistant, and he was amazing! He had a fun welcoming demeanor, and constantly talked to my kiddo, asking her questions and trying to keep her relaxed. He even sang “Let it Go” for her. It was her best dental prophy ever…until… when she was done having the top arcade cleaned, he went to rinse her and she somehow gagged on the water, which caused her to vomit (Hines staff, I promise we didn’t infect you – she’s been absolutely fine since). Rod, angel that he is, cleaned her up (with my assistance, don’t worry) without missing a beat, and with a smile on his face (or so I assume – I mean he was masked, but was joking about the “Let it Go” incident, so…) And then once she calmed down, he got her to let him brush the bottom arcade with her new toothbrush! Miracles, I tell you. Dr. Vollmar was also wonderful, and gently “counted” my girl’s teeth and then flossed. That’s right – these folks are so good at what they do, that your kid can be totally traumatized halfway through (no fault of the staff – gagging just sometimes catches you off guard), and they still can get your kid to leave with a smile AFTER finishing the cleaning. Thanks a million! H is so proud of her “perfect” teeth.

I had custody of my 9 yr old niece for a few years and she had a mouthful of cavities when she came to our family . She was so fearful due to previous experiences at a cheap clinic-type practice in another city. I took her to Dr Hines. They were kind and patient. Dr Hines sedated her to do many extractions and filling- very high quality. There is no comparison between high quality dental care and cheap clinic dentistry. You need to know what you are getting. You will not get good care in a cheap practice. With Dr Hines, you will get great care. Of course there is a cost for quality. We all know this. Dr Hines and her team are AWESOME!!

My granddaughter goes to Hines Little Smiles Dentistry and always is so positive after her appointments. I was able to visit the new state of the art office and was totally blown away. It was the most kid friendly dental office I have ever seen. From the theater to the tablets on the wall it is a kid paradise! The staff was warm and inviting. They really know how to interact with children! I have taught young children for 39 years and know genuine kid people when I see them. Both of my boys was seen yesterday. Even though there was no treatment done they was amazing with my boys. Both of my sons have multiple disabilities. My oldest whom is 9 is more severely disabled. He has extreme anxiety when going to any dr. Especially the dentist. He has spd and hates ppl touching especially his face. All the staff I encountered was just amazing with both. I am always impressed with the staff and Dentists at Little Hines. We have never had to wait longer then 3-5 minutes from time we check in to be taken back. The hygienist are always very patient and gentle with our little ones. They work with your child when they are scared and always go above & beyond to make the child’s dental experience the best it can be. The Dentist always comes in promptly after our child’s teeth are cleaned by the hygienist and provide thorough explanations of any concerns noted. Wish that they saw adults!

5⭐️ I took my 4 year old here yesterday and we had a great experience. Almost 4 months ago I tried to take my son to another dentist office and he was terrified (they were very busy and had a lot of drills and loud sounds) I was worried about trying to get him to go again. Our pediatrician told us about Hines and said that is was super kid friendly. It was worth it to make the 20 minute drive from Worthington to New Albany. The staff was so friendly as soon as I talked to them on the phone. I let them know about my sons anxieties and they made him feel so comfortable as soon as we arrived. He got to watch his favorite show while they cleaned his teeth and got prizes when we left. He is looking forward to going back and that is all I can ask for!

The dentist experience was fantastic. The staff were friendly and very tuned into what a young child would respond well to. My tentative 2 year old got to sit in Daddy’s lap for her exam, and my 5 year old loved watching Paw Patrol on the ceiling while they cleaned his teeth. The office has a play area in the waiting room that the kids enjoyed. The dentist was great with the kids and also very thorough in explaining what we could do to help improve brushing, which areas to focus on, etc. The only negative was the amount of time it took to fill out “paperwork” on the tablet, and that we were in the waiting room for 30 minutes before getting called back.
