Amazing place, amazing staff. Very efficient for dental work & routine exams / X-rays. Really nice staff that answer your questions and make you feel extra comfortable. Been going here for years (was recommended by my mom). I love Dr. Jafari and her staff and they really take the time to address your concerns. Today I was able to get an appt on the spot and was seen pretty much instantly when I only went in to make an appt (they had a cancellation). Also asked about Invisalign and was very impressed with the easiness of it and the cheaper option was just as great. Knowledgeable, warm environment and amazing work! 10/10!

I’ve seen both Dr Jafari and Dr Bassoo and both are so nice and professional. All the hygienist I’ve seen have been awesome. I’ve been going to their office for over a year now, I have no complaints. Good dentist are hard to find, I highly recommend. Now, it’s completely unrelated to healthcare but everyone in their office is beautiful.

I saw Dr Jafari today (Monday). I had requested an appointment on Friday – i appreciated her fitting me in :-). They accept my insurance (big plus), and they are right off of 59 at Greenbriar, so the location is great. And, their office is on the first floor, even better. :-). I had xrays done, teeth cleaning and polish, and was fitted for a night guard – all in an hour – so my plan to have the visit during an extended lunch break worked out!  Office is modern and they have the best equipment (from what i could tell). i will be getting some cavities filled when i come back to get my night guard. Dr Jafari is efficient and kind, mindful of not spending too much time on chit chat. Allison, her assistant, did a great job with taking the cast of my bite for the guard – it was not uncomfortable. Thank you for a great visit!

I have had to get some pretty extensive work done, and am so happy I went to Dr. Jafari for it. She was very forthright about what I needed and explained things I didn’t understand in a way that made me feel smart for asking. Love her. She referred me to an endodontist for my root canal, which told me she cares more about my teeth than she does about making money from doing it herself. Every time I’ve gone, my wait time has been very short. The office is clean and comfortable. The receptionist and other staff are very friendly as well. They have a referral program. $50 off your bill and $50 off mine if you are referred by an existing patient. So hit me up if you want a $50 discount.

I absolutely love this dentistry. The ladies are fantastic. I’ve always been a little nervous going to the dentist and my first time there, i had a serious injury. The ladies took great care of me. If you want great service, compassion for others, reasonable pricing and great dental work, this is the place for you!

Came here to see Dr. Jafari off of a recommendation from a friend for some tooth pain. She is awesome! She quickly identified that I had some decay in one of my molars and quickly took care of it. The staff was friendly and I was out of there in less than an hour. Highly recommended!

I cannot believe my incredible fortune to have found Dr. Jafari at Houstonian Dental. I located her via ZocDoc (a pretty incredible online site that allows you to search for and locate doctors from all specialties and schedule appointments and fill out and submit paperwork online). I expected the typical dental experience I’d had for the last 30-something years. Before law school, I had worked for a number of orthodontists putting on braces; so, I know teeth and tend to be hyperfocused on mine as well as others. Moreover, having worked for orthodontists and been in that practice for nearly five years, I had known my share of dentists and seen their work and their practices. I know what is standard and what is off-the-charts amazing. What I experienced at Dr. Jafari’s office left me nearly teary eyed with happiness and almost skipping to my car. As a new patient, I filled out paperwork and then was promptly escorted back to a dental chair. Dr. Jafari soon was by my side introducing herself, asking if I was cold (I was), and placing a cozy blanket over me. “What?! Where am I…dental heaven?” I asked myself. But, my adventure in dental care perfection was only beginning… I had gone there for a regular cleaning (and the whole x-ray series for which I was due) and to get a new upper retainer. I explained this to Dr. Jafari after she asked me why I was there…and then I confided in her that I had the smallest edge of my right front tooth that had chipped on a bottle that left it a bit jagged, and I wanted it smoothed. It was so minor — only I or a dentist would even make note of it. But, it bothered me because my teeth are really straight, really white, and I take pride in them. I explained to Dr. Jafari I had been reluctant to do anything about the tooth, as I wanted someone with a deft hand to do it. Dr. Jafari could have done just that; but, she handed me a mirror and discussed my options…what?!?! I had options? She explained that she could bond the smallest amount of material to the edge and smooth it to match the other — that is precisely what I wanted — I wanted it to match the other tooth. Before that occurred, Dr. Jafari (no, not a hygienist) proceeded to clean my teeth. Apparently, she does that with the new patients to have the opportunity to learn the patient’s mouth and teeth. Isn’t that the most incredible and wisest philosophy ever?!? Of course, never in my life, has any dentist taken the time to do that – new or returning patient. You typically get maybe two minutes of face-time or none at all when you are only getting a cleaning — you know the hygienist more than the doctor. Dr. Jafari is truly in a league/class/dental care heaven all her own. After the cleaning, she went into applying the small amount of material to the edge of my tooth, polishing, etc. And the result? Michelangelo would have gasped in awe. Her work and artistry are nothing short of brilliant. There is no line of demarcation between my tooth and the small amount on the tooth’s edge. Instead, it is a beautiful blended work of art. I nearly leapt out of the chair and embraced Dr. Jafari. I couldn’t stop staring at the tooth that is now so flawlessly complete. Dr. Jafari took my impression for the retainer, and then I was out the door. How is it that all that was accomplished in a mere hour and fifteen minutes? Was I in a time-space continuum? No, ladies and gentlemen…I had entered the pearly (get it?) gates of the dental care heaven (aka, Dr. Jafari’s dental practice). I honestly could not be more pleased with the entire experience. I am glowing with joy. It is without hesitation, reservation, trepidation, or other “ation” words that I recommend to you Dr. Jafari for all of your dental needs.
