I am very happy with the expertise of Dr young and her wonderful staff. Recently, I needed to get some teeth replaced due to my teeth cracking. I had 6 teeth replaced her color matching and shaping of my teeth made my smile much prettier then my natural teeth. I was very comfortable staying there for about half a day, everyone treated me like I was part of the family. Cheryl always has a beautiful smile when you walk in and is very kind and helpful. Doctor Young has amazing skills and is very personable and professional, and yet makes you feel like you are at home. Her assistant Bow is funny and sweet. I had a great experience there and am so happy with my teeth. I recommend Dr Young and her staff to anyone that wants a perfect smile and a stress free, comfortable experience.

Dr. Young is a miracle worker! The staff at Huntington Beach Dental are all kind, professional and fun to work with when you need dental care. The dentists are among the best I’ve visited from here to Beverly Hills. Dr. Young saved teeth in my old mouth that other dentists gave up hope on. She is a magician when it comes to dental care. I have nicer teeth at 63 than I did at 33. The pricing is reasonable, the office is very clean and even the music is great. Run, don’t walk, to HBDC if you need high quality, cost efficient dental care.

I have been a patient here for almost three years and I have no complaints at all! Prior to coming here, I had not had any real dental work done for years so naturally I was terrified but I felt at ease after meeting Dr. Young and her staff. We started chipping away at the extensive dental care I needed bit by bit. I never felt pressured to do something I wasn’t financially ready for which is a great feeling when it comes to dental work. Excellent service – was new to this place and contacted via (the internet) and I was called back within 24 hours – with options for appointments available next day. Front desk was very efficient and kind. My daughter was a new client and they took very good care of her, X-rays cleaning and exam all in an hour – she said her dental hygienist was very nice and did a great job! I want to thank Dr. Young. She just saved me (a lot of money). My insurance changed and I had to switch dentist. The other dentist wanted to charge me (a lot of money) for dental work I didn’t need. I went back to Dr. Young for a second opinion. She assured me all I needed was a cleaning. Dr. Young is so trustworthy and professional. The two things you value most in a dentist. I can’t thank her enough. I will pay for my own Insurance if I have to. I will always be a patient of Dr. Young and Huntington Beach Dental Center from now on. I have been a patient of Huntington Beach Dental Center for at least 17 years. Dr young is my Dentist and she is amazing, as is everyone in the office. I recently had to get my teeth capped as they were cracking and she actually made my smile way prettier then my natural teeth. She is an expert in color matching and shaping. I had to spend more then half a day there to do this procedure and I felt very comfortable with everyone one from Bow (don’t know if I spelled that right) to Cheryl the office manager. They are all so great and recommend them to anyone that wants a perfect smile in a comfortable setting.

Ever since childhood I’ve hated the dentist. I can’t stand the drilling!! So as an adult I haven’t been consistent with check ups. It’s been at least 8 years since I’ve been to a dentist. After reading reviews about HB Dental, I figured I’d give them a shot. I was nervous and worried they would say, “You need a new mouth!” Luckily they didn’t tell me that. Instead they were very comforting, patient and informative. From the DA Liliana taking Xrays to the Hygienist doing my deep cleaning. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here at HB Dental. The front office Receptionist Barney even gives my daughter a token to get a toy every visit. Which is great when you have an impatient 2 yr old in the waiting room. I had the opportunity to deal with Dr. Young. Who is so amazing. She mapped out a treatment from steps to get my gums healthier, cavity fillings to future crown suggestions. Matter of fact I just had 3 fillings done today with the help of Dr. Young’s son who is as great as mom. Thanks to Dr. Young and the HB Dental team. I can now say I enjoy coming to the Dentist!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about Huntington Beach Dental Center! I went in as a walk in due to a broken tooth a couple of weeks ago and was in a lot of pain. Other places had already started closing and I’m so glad this place was still open. They attended me right away and were very informative about what I needed and what they were going to do. I don’t have insurance and was nervous about how much everything would cost, not only are they affordable but they even helped me workout a payment plan that worked for me. The staff here is always so friendly and caring. I’m so appreciative of this dental office, highly recommend!

I am a huge chicken when it comes to the dentist and I have been avoiding going to any dentist for any treatment for years and years and years. One day, a good friend of mine said HB Dental is very good. They’re friendly and patient and they have a great reputation. My friend has two children and he said one of them reported a very positive experience. Well, that was enough to get me out of my fetal position and on the phone. I called, confessed my failures in follow ups, and made an appointment. Turned out that I didn’t need anything other than a deep cleaning. I was pretty shocked (and they were too) considering the fact that it had been more years than I’d care to confess. Both the tech and Dr. Young said that I’m really lucky and that I just have good teeth. Yay!!!! So I was there and they did the superficial cleaning and I was told to schedule my first deep cleaning afterward. I was still nervous. They then told me that their next appointment cancelled and they could take me right then. Uh….uh……..uhhhh………….o…..k………………… They numbed me up which was the most terrifying part of the processes. The reason behind my fear of the dentist was from an event when I was 12 years old at the doctor had to numb me up. He shoved the needle so hard into my hard palate that it knocked my head back and I heard a loud pop. Jesus Christ I was about to kick him in the nuts. So I shared this story with the tech and she was very sweet about it. There was no pain. They numb your mouth with gel and then stick you and it was amazing. Granted, the second day when I went in for the other half of my deep cleaning the needles were a bit more painful but that was because the left side of my face/mouth is more sensitive. Still though, I survived and am no longer afraid of the dentist (this dentist). I’m scheduled for my follow up in a couple months (this review is two months over due) and I’m not worried at all. Thank you HB Dental. I read all of the reviews on your page and I agree 100% with what the 5 stars are saying.

Dr. Young is a devoted mother and wife. She has an incredible passion for dentistry and has a thriving practice for over 25 years. Putting a priority in personal relationships is what helps her to understand and serve her patient’s needs. After graduating from Tufts Dental School in 1985 she moved to Southern California and immediately opened a practice. Her goal is to provide the best dental care for her patients by using the best dental labs and materials. She received her Pac Live certificate in cosmetic dentistry and has continued to seek better materials and skills to improve the beautiful smile. With this in mind she also seeks to make the patients visit affordable and pleasant as possible.
