In January 2015 I was in a terrible mountain bike accident that left me with six shattered teeth. Over the course of the last year I healed immensely but was still left with shattered teeth. My primary dentist gave me an unreasonable price for the crowns and I felt like they were taking advantage of my situation. Through research I came upon Huntington Park Dental and decided to try them out. Very quickly I found the staff to be accommodating and friendly. The hygienist and Dr. Abaro were superb and professional and I felt right at home there. We settled on a reasonable price and they got me my smile back! To say I’m happy and satisfied with this dentistry is a huge understatement. They gave me a part of my life back and I am so grateful for them. Can’t recommend them highly enough. There are so many dental clinic around the corners from our area but there is simply one reason why we choose to drive 20 miles. because We are “satisfied customers”. I looked for many Dental offices that were kind to Children and were honest with the their teeth treatments…I love this office and Lourdes the receptionist is very sweet, along with all the staff. After not gone to the dentist for almost 15 years I visited this dental office. From the start this place was great. Vanessa the receptionist was super professional and friendly. They do have massage chairs which I was to shy to try. The dental assistants are also very professional and knowledgeable. They were talking to me the whole time and giving me information on what I was going to expect. They showed me my teeth, they explained certain procedures, and they even showed me how to floss properly. I need a crown and my insurance doesn’t cover porcelain, but they offer payment plans and or loans

I am not one to write a review but Huntington Park Dental is one of the best dental experiences I have had since moving to Los Angeles. After using the same dentist for 22 years, this was the first time visiting another practice after being reccomended by a friend. Not only did the dentist walk me through the most cost effective and preventative treatments for future issues, the office was also exceptionally clean and upbeat. Upon arrival, the staff was very kind and helpful with working around your schedule for appointment needs. I am excited to say I have found my new dentist office

Everything went perfect! They were already prepared 10 minutes ahead of my appointment time. The doctor was professional and made sure was not only ready for the procedure but also calm and relaxed. The staff was also very polite and they knew what they have to do. I was unconscious the entire time, so I don’t have first-hand experience with the procedure, but when I came around, I felt neither pain nor discomfort anywhere. A few days later, there was swelling and bruising, which was expected. That’s why I am thankful for the medication the dentist prescribed. Now, it is two weeks after my procedure and I had no complications – great!

I found the doctor truly that care for my welfare. I walked in to have a wisdom tooth removed and this was the third dental office that I went to because I found myself so uncomfortable with the other two. I was fearful because it was below the gum line and close to a nerve. The doctor took the time to explain the details of why the procedure was difficult and let me decide what to do based on my comfort level. He really looks out for my health and comfort above all else. And I would say, that was an exceptional care. I am more than happy to recommend this office. They are not just making a living, they’re making a loyal friends

So, I recently moved to East La and needed to find a new dental home. I saw this place when I took my kids to shakeys and decided to give them a chance. The staff was very friendly and super patient with my little one. They even had a person doing face painting for the kids! It was great! The dr and hygienist were very nice and explained things real well. The hygienist even let my kid play with all of her tools. I was very happy with the team and am happy to say we found our new dental home

I was very impressed with my entire experience. The office is located right int the heart of Huntington park, which is great. The office interior is beautiful , stylish, relaxing and spotless. I wouldn’t mind waiting in the outer office at all but I was called in almost immediately upon my arrival. All the staff beginning with front office were friendly, courteous, efficient and seemed happy to be working there. The equipment is modern. All work with the exception of 1 xray (where I was required to stand up) was done in the same room. Full xrays, great cleaning, the dentist checked my teeth. They are also open on Saturdays which is nice..

Love this spot. decided to walk in and get some 411 on this place. the receptionist was really nice and said I could be seen today if I wanted…I took them up on the offer and legit had such a great cleaning. The hygienist was really nice and not to hard on me, the dentist was also pretty awesome. He didn’t make me feel bad Cuz I hadn’t gone to the dentist in a while or anything. I am a new patient of this magnificent facility, I have had so many bad, ruthless, and insensitive dentists in the past. The staff here treated me like family. Each employee was knowledgeable and caring. They discussed each issue I had and what my insurance covered and what my out of pocket cost would be. The dentist broke it down by order of priority to least important at the moment. The dentist is very gentle and actually treated me like he cared. There are truly no words to describe how happy I am that I have found this facility. They are very organized here and the office is so clean and neat. Overall, everything went great. I had my teeth cleaned and they did x-rays and only charged me a portion of the cost because my previous dentist had also done x-rays within the last year. He found I had 2 cavities that required crowns. I was in and out pretty quick and I am very happy with the result. The office atmosphere was very positive and all employees seem very happy to be working there. My only complaint was that on my second crown appointment I waited awhile for him to return to take the final impression, as he was seeing another patient. I understand the need to see many patients but the appointment had been long and waiting additional time was difficult for me. Having said this, the complaint is minor when compared to the excellent treatment I received and I definitely am going to continue with him as my dentist

I also received a flyer at my house and decided to give it a try, no regrets the whole staff of SUPER AWESOME people my son is 11 and his going for Ortho treatment he was super scared at first and the staff made him feel comfortable and fully explain to him everything that they were going to do to him. The ortho doctor very nice person he answers all your questions and concerns. Very clean area they have movies all the time they even have a massage Lady that gives free massages. They have coffee and snacks for the people waiting. Their payments are low and down payment is low as well, I truly recommend this place my son loves it and feels comfortable with the staff. I’m also taking my daughter their when it’s time for her braces.

I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to describing how great of an experience I had here at this dental office. When you normally think of the dentist it isn’t a very comforting thought, but as soon as I walked into the office there was this feeling of comfort radiating from the staff. The receptionist at the front greeted me and made sure I had all my proper paper work filled out as well as making sure that my dental insurance was valid for my visit. I was seen right away and all of the assistants including the doctor took care of me to their best ability. I didn’t feel like a number and just any patient there, I felt like they really personalized my care and treatment. They really do work hard to put their patients first and make sure you have all your dental needs taken care of without it damaging your wallet. Most definitely recommend this dental office!

I really enjoyed this dentist! I needed to get my wisdom teeth pulled and although that may be something that you would think you would dread it was not so bad. They said that they could do it right then and there and I decided to pull the trigger and just do it. The doctor had a tough time on one tooth but overall it was smooth and surprisingly ok. They made me super numb so no pain during the process and afterwards I had pain meds. The Dentist had amazing bedside manner.They even gave me a snow-cone on the way out! Not bad for a dentist office! I would bring my family here for sure

Love this office! Going to the dentist is not on my list of favorite things to do but this practice makes it not feel so bad. The receptionist made me feel at ease and assured me that the staff would be gentle and explained different possible options if I was uncomfortable. The same molar became a huge problem. I needed a root canal but they were super booked … like two weeks out. I was to call at 5pm, after they called all the appointments and got notice of any cancellations. I called and they were able to get me in the morning on Saturday. Got there and was very nervous as this is my 1st root canal, but my mood changed as soon as i got to the reception cause they had on the funniest episode of Friends and found myself laughing. Proptly i was lead to the operating seat and the dentist and assistant got to work. Feeling i was in the hands of the best in the industry the whole thing was over in about an hour. Overall i feel i got great value for what i paid and could not be happier.

My experience at Huntington Dental Park has been excellent. The office equipments are modern and state-of-the-art and the staff is always professional and extremely welcoming. My first encounter with them was when I needed several crowns 2 years ago. Lately, the quality of the service and the professionalism was still the same as on my first visit. The doctors were extremely gentle and efficient. Their years of experience was really evident; quite skillful and was able to build up the tooth crown which fit in perfectly in less than two weeks. Love the office staff! They are so professional, caring, friendly and understanding. The dentist explains step by step and let’s you know, that you can ask them questions during your visit and even call if you have questions after your visit. They show you your x-rays, and help educate you, and try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. They explain the cost before anything is to be done. They also have periodontist, and do braces. I initially became a Monterey Park Dental patient for ortho- extremely pleased. Now I am also a dental patient- could not be more satisfied. My experience with the back office… Had a deep cleaning by Cindy- that was like no other I’ve ever had. She’s amazingly gentle but thorough, kind and so informative. I was treated by Dr. Albaro for a root canal- hands down, one of the most professional and knowledgeable Dentists I’ve ever been treated by. He’s simply, THE BEST! David- the Dental assistant… let me just say, He makes my visits fun! He’s professional but always so fun to chat with… always asking if I’m comfortable or if I need anything! Melissa and Ericka (back office) always busy but remain helpful and kind. All ortho staff- exceptional! As for the front office… Erika (front office) is so caring, patient and knowledgeable. The practice offers a variety of services making it easier for our patients to get everything they need done under the same roof, including an amazing orthodontics center. This dental practice used to belong to Dr. John Choi who retired this year and sold the practice to Dr. Abaro. "I've always been good with my hands. I could make or fix anything. But my previous profession in the medical field left me wanting more to do with my natural talent. The hospital taught me the most important lessons for my dental career though. It taught me how to care for people's emotional needs, how to communicate with patients, and how to empathize with someone in pain. I feel so fortunate to be in a profession where I go to my office not to work, but to do things that I love. By using simple explanations, photographs of their condition, and relating it on terms they are familiar with, my goal is to motivate patients to take control of their situation and start living the quality life they deserve now. Often I meet people who live with conditions and handicaps on a day-to-day basis that lowers their quality of life.
