My boyfriend is in town for a couple of months and needed to find a local dental office that could accommodate his busy clinical rotation schedule. Since I wasn’t there, I’ll let him write the review himself!: Excellent service! Great, friendly staff, with an equally amicable doctor. As mentioned above, I’m currently on clinical rotations, and am on obamacare (because we professional grad students are as broke as can be 🙁 ). So, I needed to find a local dentist and team who could provide quality patient care and a general cleaning/check-up! I had no idea how denti-cal worked, and had called up (at least) 4 other offices to ask about my dental coverage, but was offered no assistance… until.. along came Linda. Linda courteously answered the phone when I called on Saturday, and was willing to answer all my questions about scheduling, denti-cal, etc. Since I was clueless, and she most likely sensed it, she offered to call on Monday (today), when the denti-cal office was open, to check on my benefits on my behalf. Long story short, she called me around lunch time today to let me know I was covered; however, I have clinic every day in Culver City except Wednesday– one of the days Huntington Smiles is actually not open to see patients :(.  Fortunately, I got off clinic 2 hours early today at 3:30, and quickly called the office to asked if I could be squeezed in today. After some quick consulting, she agreed to get me in to see Dr. Su at 4:30. Upon arrival, i was merrily greeted by the staff, and was promptly seen for my examination. Dr. Su was personable, efficient, gentle and excellent with his work. I felt no pain during the cleaning process, and never through my 30-40 minutes there (kinda lost track of time because I was that comfortable) felt like a stranger in the office. The office was clean and sanitary, with some very cool technology: like Netflix on a TV overlooking your exam chair… but more importantly digital x-rays, and new equipment, of course. The color combination of green, browns, whites, etc gave the office a nice modern, and sleek look, yet still had warm, welcoming and earthy feel. Overall, great staff, excellent doctor, and killer office. Thanks for everything!

Nice quite place, plenty of parking in rear. To simplify things head east on Huntington Dr, turn right shortly passed Shortman Ave into the entrance. Have etiquette and park in the designated parking spots reserved for Huntington Smiles. Walk to the front entrance facing Huntington Ave through the big glass doors and make an immediate left to take the elevator to the second floor. Dr. Su’s office is found in the rear of the building on the second floor. Inside you will be kindly greeted with a clean, modern, and positive atmosphere. The receptionist is very kind and treats you like a guest. Now the most important part of any dental office is of course the dentist. This office does not disappoint. Dr.Su is a well mannered and highly skilled professional. I’ve been to many dentists for somewhat more complex work other than routine cleaning etc. Dr.Su takes the award for having the most gentle hands of any dentist I’ve had. Not only is he gentle, he works quickly and tries to minimize pain. I definitely will be choosing Dr.Su over my other dentists

You would say the skill of the dentist will determine the experience at a dental clinic. To me that’s a half correct statement. The other half lies in the quality and service of the receptionist and the dental assistant. I booked an appointment at 11:15am on a Saturday. I made the appointment a few weeks in advance. Just a few days before the appointment I found out that I have an important meeting on the same day with the dental appointment. My dental appointment is at 11:15 and my meeting is at 12. The time it take for me to get to the meeting place from the dental clinic is an hour. There’s no way I can make it to both events. I had to reschedule the dental appointment. I emailed the receptionist Linda, she offered to have the appointment changed to 10:20. She said the dental procedure usually will take 45 minutes but she will ask the doctor to hurry and get me out by 10:50. I told her perhaps I should reschedule it for next week because I might still need to wait a bit after I arrived at the dental office and that may push the finish time to be after 11am. Linda reassured me that as long as I arrived on time then there won’t be such problem. So I agreed. Today when I arrived to the dental office Linda was there, as I sat myself down at the waiting room, within a minute the dental assistant came over and ask me to go to the treatment room. She said she knew I was in a hurry. I was pleasantly surprised because obviously Linda must have told her about my concern. This shows the staffs there actually care about my concern and instead of just say it and forget it she actually took action to accommodate my need. During my treatment for a filling, Dr Su was also aware that I was in a hurry and was able to complete the treatment within 30 minutes. His impeccable skill did not elicit any pain during the filling process. I never had a pleasant experience during any dental procedure but with Dr Su I must say I did. I highly recommend Dr Su and his highly professional staffs. Anybody that’s trying to find the best dental clinic should look no further.

My first experience at Huntington Smiles was amazing! Very professional and polite staff who understands the importance of time and doesn’t make their patients wait and wait. Considering that I had to go to work after my appointment, the staff was able to get my xrays and cleaning done in under one hour – amazing! The dentist was very informative and patiently answered all my questions. He also showed me my xrays and images of my teeth to better explain the condition of my teeth. The facility is extremely clean and very updated and modern.  I was even able to watch movies during my xrays and cleaning! 🙂 Highly recommend this facility especially if you have Denti-Cal!

Let me start by saying I don’t enjoy going to the dentist (who does??!!), but Dr. Su truly made the experience comfortable and pain free.  First, the staff is pleasant and very accommodating.  Being a new client, I had some insurance questions. They took the time to patiently answer all my questions without any sort of attitude that you sometimes receive from busy front office personal.  Never once did I feel rushed or dismissed from them.  While in the chair, Dr. Su was calm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable.  He relieved my anxiety and (dare I say), I actually enjoyed the experience!  The Netflix helped!  He didn’t try to upsale me or use scare tactics; he was frank and honest with my checkup, which I appreciated.  Now my whole family sees him- he has the same calm, pleasant presence with my children. As an added bonus, the office is SUPER clean, with state of the art equipment.  No expense was spared!

Clean. Friendly. Professional.  From the moment I scheduled my appointment, Huntington Smiles provided exemplary service.  Like the average person, I never look forward to seeing the dentist, but Dr. Su and the staff made the experience more enjoyable than I could possibly imagine a visit to the dentist could be.  Starting with entering the office, the staff was quick to offer a polite greeting and handle the necessary paperwork.  There is a comfortable waiting area with a TV.  Entering the exam room, there is also another TV to watch with Netflix available.  Dr. Su clearly explained everything and was extremely gentle when performing the work.  Unlike other places I’ve visited, they were not forceful in trying to sell me more dental work.  I will definitely be returning to Huntington Smiles when I need a dentist

The staff is very accommodating and nice. With the way the appointments are set up, the wait time is very short. I am impressed by the services they offered such as watching Netflix while you get your dental work done and they can take a picture of your cavities and show you before they fix it. The molds the did for the whitening trays fit well too. I’m happy with the service they provided me. The office space is well decorated and bright. I’ve only came on the weekend and the parking lot has always been empty with the designated parking spots always free. The receptionist was very kind and helpful

Let me start off by saying that I hadn’t been to the dentist in a solid 10 years due to bad past experiences and a deep fear of the dentist. Unfortunately, I did have a number of issues when I came in, the worst being a root canal! I was so scared leading up to the procedure because I had heard so many horror stories about root canals being painful, but thankfully I didn’t feel anything! Dr Michael Su is REALLY good and gentle! I have some more work to get done but I’m not stressed out anymore before appointments! The rest of the staff is also very friendly, from the front desk to the dental assistants. I’m definitely recommend this place, especially for anybody that is weary! 🙂 Side note: the Netflix was a plus for comfort! I was able to put on a movie while the work was being done. Definitely calms the nerves!

This was the best visit I have had with a dentist since my regular dentist retired. I was hoping this place would not be like the last dentist that I went to where they tried to upsell me with bunch of procedures that my old regular dentist never said I needed. It made me second guess the dentist like how I always do with a car mechanic. Luckily, Dr. Su did none of that. He came in, did an exam, and said everything was fine and all I needed was a regular cleaning. Hallelujah, no upselling. Dr. Su was very nice and courteous and so was the whole staff. Finally, I found my new regular dentist.
