Best dentist in Orange County:  I’ve been to many dentists in the OC.  I also come from a family of dentistry (daughter dental asst, ex-wife has a dental school). Dr. Rodd is just a great dentist.  First of all, and honestly, he is old school, low tech. This is the GOOD NEWS. The office isn’t the latest state of the art;  he doesn’t pass along high prices to pay for a hi-tech office with lots of expensive crap. He has an amazing touch, awareness, and NO PAIN. He does most of the work himself with no assistant, and is constantly making sure you’re comfortable.  He’s also very reasonably priced. Cleanings, crowns, fillings…  I’ve had all with him.  He doesn’t talk you into anything you don’t need. His patients are loyal, like many years and drive miles to see him.  I’m going to him for the rest of my life no matter where I live.

I have crazy anxiety when it comes to dental visits, as many of us do.  In the past, I jumped from one dentist to another.  Searching for a better experience. I didn’t know it was possible to leave a dentist chair and Feel Amazing! But now I do! The office is so relaxing, the kindest staff and all the work is done by Dr. Rodd.  He takes his time, talks with you privately and really helps you understand your dental needs. I still have some anxiety before my appointments (because of years of fear) but his calm mannerism and tranquil environment remind me, I’m in good hands. He provides creative ways to make sure each patient is truly comfortable.  Not many of us get to leave the dentist chair with an ear-to-ear grin and the insatiable need to shout from the rooftops…I love my dentist!!  I do! That’s how awesome I feel after every visit. Thank you Dr. Rodd, you’re my dental Rock Star!

My husband first started going to Dr. Rodd a number of years ago.  I have always been uncomfortable in the dentist’s chair and hadn’t been to a dentist for a few years when my husband suggested I try Dr. Rodd.  So glad I took his advice!  Dr. Rodd is very calm, caring, and extremely polite.  He isn’t happy unless you’re happy.  It’s nice that he does the cleanings himself personally—you know that he really knows your teeth and mouth. You get the benefit of his great knowledge as he carefully explains each procedure exactly.   Our adult children go to Dr. Rodd, too.  We are all very pleased with his caring staff as well.  There’s no need to go to any other dentist—-Dr. Rodd is the best!

Dr. Rodd is a great professional. He is knowledgeable and attentive to client’s needs. Equipment used is state of the art. Staff is friendly and helpful. Most important to me, the work done is always top quality.

I went from despising going to the dentist (my mom just told me a story about how I bit a dentist when I was little )  to loving my dentist. I’ve been going to dr. Rodd since the late 90s and I don’t see myself ever switching. He’s super nice and patient. I’ve had multiple fillings and none of them hurt. Yes, the sound still gives me goosebumps, but no pain! Plus he really only performs a procedure if necessary. I’ve been grinding my teeth and got worried. I went in and asked if I need a mouthguard. He checks every time and says that my grinding isn’t severe enough but he keeps his eyes on it every time I visit. Bedside manner and customer service is what sets him apart from anyone else. Did I mention that I’m willing to drive at least 30 mins to see him? Totally worth the trip! I recommend him to everyone. Plus his office staff is super friendly!

Dr Rodd has been my dentist since 1985. He is very gentle and extremely caring. He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. He has excellent bedside manners. He is a true artist and a fantastic cosmetic dentist. His staff are very professional and take care of you right away. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. He makes temporaries for your teeth that are really beautiful while you are waiting for the actual crown or veneers to get ready. Once you are his patient you can never go to another dentist!

Our family has been to numerous dentists over the years but none as professional, polite and as comfortable as Dr. Rodd.  He has an old school approach, hands-on, explains everything thoroughly and does not try to upsell patients on un-needed things.  Also and most importantly,  NO PAIN with Dr. Rodd.  He’s affordable and comfortable and that’s all we needed!!

There’s an old saying “We get old too soon and smart too late,” and as a senior citizen, it applies to me.  I was wrong to believe that flossing only before bedtime and brushing twice a day would ensure good dental health.  It took an in-depth evaluation and a deep scaling procedure by Dr. Rodd to make me realize that my lackadaisical approach to dental hygiene was bringing me closer to major periodontal disease.  A simple thing like flossing and brushing after every meal and keeping up with regular dental cleanings can really make a difference in one’s overall health.  Kudos to Dr. Rodd and his conscientious staff!

It had been a very long time since I had gone to the dentist. I have to admit, I’m one of those people who are afraid to go to the dentist. The consequences of course presented themselves as a terrible toothache. I found Dr. Rodd online and I made an appointment.
He was so kind and gentle. He took great care of me and I just fell in love with the place. I’m no longer uncomfortable about going in for a dental checkup. I couldn’t be more thankful, my teeth look and feel great. The office is comfortable and the staff is very friendly.
I completely recommend this dentist to anyone. Please come check for yourself, you will not regret it. Amazing level of quality and service. Everyone here is very professional.

Dr Rodd is the best! I have very sensitive teeth which caused a real fear of visiting a dentist. With his patience and gentle manner I am doing much better. I can now get regular cleanings and maintaining my teeth is no longer the nightmare it used to be. Can’t recommend him enough!

Dr Rodd is a great practitioner. His chairside manners are great, he is very accommodating and will never try to upsell anything. He does all the work himself and is a very personable guy. He even sent me a card when I had my baby! What a find!

Dr. Rodd is well trained (UCLA Dental school), seasoned and practical.  He listens to your concerns but is not shy about expressing any misconceptions as it relates to any treatment plan. I love that he does his own cleaning.  His demeanor is very pleasant.  He has corrected and improved many years of improper dentistry by others.  Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do but Dr. Rodd makes the experience so much better!  His staff is very complimentary to his own style.  It is with pleasure that I highly recommend him

I’ve been seeing Dr. Rodd for over 10 years.  He is a superb dentist and very nice, professional and personable.  He’s very gentle and aware of the patient’s comfort always.  He always shows me what needs to be done and gives several payment options.  If needed he will refer me to the best professionals in the field.

The BEST DENTIST in the area with excellent and very professional work ethics, genuine care for his patients and very reasonable fees. He is a true artist. Dr Rodd and his staff are awesome!
