I just moved here and needed to get my wisdom teeth taken out – I am so happy I made an appointment at Iliff Family Dental! The consultation was free which other dentists wanted to charge more than $100 for them just to tell me what I already know. He also let me use recent x-rays.. other practices wanted me to pay for new ones. Dr. Henes and his staff are SO nice and welcoming! I am scared to death of the dentist. I hadnt been in years. If your fearful this is the dentist to go to. The staff is like a family and they are so welcoming. From the minute I walked in they did everything the could to keep me calm. The hygienist is very gentle. I had a deep clean and barely felt a thing. I had been going to comfort dental and wasn’t happy with there dental plan of just ripping out all teeth and getting dentures at age 43. I came here and OMG not only was it a beautiful comfortable office but his receptionist /assistant was so friendly and down to earth and made u feel like u have been her friend forever , and the dentist had awesome bed side manners was also very real about things and no Bs ! He had a whole different out come that made more since and aloud me to not have to get dentures but just root canals crowns and maybe a couple implants ! He cares about people and there teeth and saving what u have instead of getting u in and out and collecting the money ! Absolutely amazing and just very real people ! I have anxiety bad about dentist which is why I need to have so much done and I’m actually excited and completely comfortable with going back to have this work done by him ! A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR

Dr. Christopher Henes was born and raised outside of Detroit, MI. Dr. Henes was drawn to dentistry due to the ability to work with his hands and help patients, but fell in love with dentistry because he is able to meet new individuals every day and to create lifetime relationships, all while helping patients achieve their oral health goals. Dr. Henes graduated from University of Detroit Mercy with da Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May of 2013. After graduation, Dr. Henes completed a one year residency at Denver Health. It was during that residency that Dr. Henes became more experienced in molar root canals, extraction, restoring smiles, developing complex treatment plans, and working with medically complex patients. After completing his residency, Dr. Henes continued to work at Denver Health at their Westside Dental clinic and more recently was the past residency Director. Dr. Henes loves meeting new people and helping them achieve their overall health goals. In his spare, time you can find Dr. Henes and his wife, Ashley, out and about doing all the wonderful things Colorado has to offer – biking, hiking, skiing, and trying out new restaurants.
