I moved to Kansas about 4 years ago and started going to Dr. Sams. I am so happy with the service I have received. Every one there is so pleasant. I have had my teeth cleaned by several of the hygienists there and they all were through. Even if I move I will fly back twice a year just to get my teeth cleaned there! I am so excited that Dr. Sams has expanded his practice by adding an associate Dr. Shanthakumar, I can wait to me him.

Dr. Shanthakumar and his team did a great job with my gum graft surgery. They gave great instructions for aftercare and were very responsive to questions in the following weeks, fitting me into the schedule when I needed to come in. I actually got more root coverage than anticipated, which is never a guarantee but was a great outcome for my procedure! Highly recommend this office for any dental needs.

Both Dr. Sams and his staff were very friendly, kept me informed of what they were doing, told me things about pain control I had never heard before, told me options that Dr. Sams would consider and descriptive of what they found. Dr. Sams was also very pleasant and also looked in my mouth, described his plan and gave me plenty of time to answer my questions. This office also did a great job with my wife’s implants.

Hygienist are all super informative with meaningful recommendations for your personal dental care. Doctor Sams is truly a gentleman and an expert in his field. I highly recommend Perio Center of Kansas

I had a tooth with a crown break off at the gum line. I was referred to Dr. Sam at the Implant and Perio Center of Kansas. I was thoroughly impressed with their professional yet friendly approach to my problem. The office staff was very efficient and I appreciated the expertise of Dr. Sam and the entire staff. They were very good about explaining what would occur and answered all of my questions. I was fitted with my temporary implant today and I am extremely pleased. I would highly recommend the Implant and Perio Center of Kansas.

Dr Sams is an exceptional dental professional AND he’s super cool and fun to talk to. The staff is caring and they make you feel at ease. What do I recommend about Implant and Perio Center? Aside from having periodontal disease and needing extractions, implants, and sinus lifts the whole experience with them has been great for me.

I was really dreading having an implant based on my mother’s experience from years ago. Dr. Sams and his staff answered all of my questions, calmed my fears, reassured me about pain management and called to check on me post-procedure. I could not have had any better experience. Everyone I came into contact with was both intelligent and kind. While this type of work is their business, they understand that for many patients this is new and somewhat scary. If you are ever in need of this type of service, I highly recommend Dr. Sam’s and implant & Perio Center of Kansas!

Top notch, staff, service, options and professionalism. I have severe anxiety due to the death of a close relative in a Missouri dentist’s chair in 80’s. They accommodate my issues patiently and kindly. They allow me to schedule first appointments of the day when it’s quieter and there’s no other patients. They give choices of nitrous for simple procedures and being put to sleep for more invasive treatments, even I.v. treatment for severe issues. They explain tests, results, options and cost. We’re extremely impressed. And I’m not easily impressed by dentists. They also call to follow up on how I’m doing after my visits. State of the art, top of the line equipment, service and staff. We can’t say enough good things about them.

Prashan Shanthakumar, D.D.S., M.S. and Surgical assistant Brie we’re very personable. I came in for a consultation i was comfortable immediately. He was thorough, I felt confident he was giving me the best care I could receive. He took the time to find out my thoughts and expectations. He was very detailed about what he was doing as he went along. He explained everything. They are a great team of doctors. I walked out of my appointment with a peace of mind that I will be getting the best dental treatment in the future.

My appointment was the most comfortable i have ever been in a dental visit. The staff were very nice and did a wonderful job of explaining everthing in terms I could ubderstand. Ecellent appointment!

When I recently had a tooth break off, the only Periodontist I would go to for an implant is Dr. Marc Sam’s. He had done several implants for me over the years. I was extremely happy with the results. This was my first time at his new office. His new office is beautiful and of course has the latest equipment. Everyone of his staff was very friendly & helpful. It was totally a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Sam’s to anyone needing an implant. He is totally awesome.

I had a toothache emergency last week and a different Perio place couldn’t get me in until late in September. So I called the Implant & Perio Center and they were able to get me in the next day. Everyone at this office is so nice and I felt very comfortable. I was so impressed at the fact that they explained everything in detail about the procedure I’ll be having. I highly recommend this place.

The people at Implant & Perio Center of Kansas are very kind and caring people. There isn’t anyone in the office who has ever been unfriendly or short in the 6-7 years I’ve been going there. And I can’t say enough good about Dr. Sams. He’s awesome!

Doc Sams has the best bed side Maori. If I can call it that. He made sure I was relaxed and always kept it that way. I am not a lover of going to the dentist. But he made it very easy to get my implants done.And they are really great. Thanks Doc.

Everyone in the staff was friendly and helpful. The hygienist was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything that she felt needed to be done. Her name is Stephanie and her friendly and calm demeanor helped me to relax. Then Dr. Sams came in and introduced himself. He is very warm and friendly and inspired great confidence in me. He also examined my teeth and explained his treatment recommendations. I really liked both Stephanie and Dr. Sams and I have complete confidence in them. After the examination, I was taken into the office where a very friendly woman told me exactly what I the procedures would cost and how the payment could be made. I am very nervous when I have to go to the dentist but everything about my experience there — from the office staff, to Stephanie to Dr. Sams himself — made this experience as pleasant as a dental visit can be. A very professional office!!

I went to Dr. Sams, to have a tooth removed (1st step in getting an implant). I never had this done, before, so I was nervous and I was concerned about the complications (i.e. existing infection and previous extensive root canal on this same tooth). Dr. Sams and his staff were very informative and it was obvious they were experienced. Upon the proceedure, there was no pain. They took steps to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible. Dr. Sams and his staff are professional, experienced, and exceptional. He and his staff did an excellent job!

Everything!! They are friendly and professional. Dr. Sam’s is great, he took on my mess made by another doctor and I’m thrilled to have it done right after trying to get teeth after two years of going through implants done wrong and now having it done well and am ready for teeth to fit right!!

Very professional and knowledgeable, explained every movement and took all concerns seriously and gave understandable responses. Came highly recommended and I was very pleased. Didn’t feel pressured into making a discussion at that time.

Dr Marqs and his entire team have been absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process of my treatment plan. I very much appreciate the time spent with the scheduling consultant. She and Dr Marqs showed me images and spent a lot of time discussing my treatment plan and addressing my questions. Everyone was personable, professional and welcoming. Dr. Sams and his team are just simply the best! Nogc the hygienist is THE BEST!! Nogc needs to be promoted, receive a raise, or be treated to lunch (maybe all of the above) because she is out of this world!!! Dr. Sams explained his plan well and definitely made this seem like a super simple process. Could not have asked for a better experience!

They are very professional but yet friendly. The office seems extremely clean and well managed. Dr. Sams spent time with me addressing my concerns and helping me to understand my treatment. He doesn’t seem like one of those guys that’s just after your money. I liked that his hygienist was also his assistant, very professional took my x-rays got all of my health history and explained procedures as well. I would highly recommend their office
