Doctor Mercedes Del Valle has been treating me and my family for 20 years. She is the most caring and profesional doctor I have ever met. One thing I hardly understand are the unflattering reviews I see here. I have checked the doctor’s bad reviews and they seem to be created with fake accounts from people that don’t even live in this area. Yelp does not allow the company to respond or verify any of these reviews unless you pay them. This sounds to me like extortion. Let’s take the last review I see here, Cole S..  To me the picture looks like a picture stolen from a model on the internet. Her comments are impossible and her statements a total lie. Doctor Del Valle has never been a cold individual. She is a fellow of the Academy of general dentistry which is an honor conferred to people with the highest levels of skill in the field of dentistry. I checked. So, going back to the bad reviews. I see only two answers here, a competitor is paying people from far away to post fake reviews or a disgruntled employee is taking revenge. This is possible due to the fact that Yelp(a system created to review restaurants exclusively) is being used inappropriately to review companies it wasn’t intended too. Another unfair thing is the fact that bad reviews, fake reviews, etc… are given priority over the many many good reviews a doctor like doctor Del Valle routinely gets. Please ignore this fake reviews. If you wanna find out the truth, just pop in for a visit and meet doctor Del Valle. I am sure she would make time to talk to you. Another of the amazing things about her, is the fact that whenever the office is close or on weekends she answers the phone herself if you have a question or an emergency. Not may doctors do that. They allow underlings to deal with people at odd hours. Doctor Del Valle doesn’t. She is as real as they come.

I’ve been going to Dr DelValle for over 15 years. She has performed a variety of services for me and I’ve always felt like I was in good hands. She is competent and appears up to date on the latest developments. In the end, trust is what matters most and I trust her absolutely. I’ve also felt good about everyone who works there. Everyone is happy, efficient, and caring.

I have gone to Dr. Del Valle for many years and she is just wonderful. She is highly skilled at her job and also very caring, with a great sense of humor and fun. She explains procedures and answers questions. I recently needed to be seen for some severe mouth pain and she came in on her Friday off to spend over an hour with me to discover and diagnose the problem. All with great patience and humor. I was very touched and impressed by this and the antibiotic she prescribed immediately took care of the pain. Otherwise I might have spent the whole weekend in such pain!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Del Valle to anyone!!

Mercedes and her staff are excellent and it shows in the care and services they provide! My son had a bump on his gum and was complaining of pain. I reached out to Mercedes at 6:30 am and she had him in by 8 am to take a look at it. If you’re looking for a small and personal dental office, this is the one for you!

I relied on Dr. Del Valle and her team for dental care during my five years in Eugene. I left with much improved oral health and – thanks to outstanding orthodontic work – a better smile! The practice has a relaxed, friendly and convivial atmosphere, and I always joked that it was less stressful to come in for a dental appointment than it was to be at work. I appreciated the prompt service (I was always seen at my scheduled appointment times, with little wait or delay), the willingness to fit me in quickly on those rare occasions when I had some kind of urgent care need, and the helpful suggestions and reminders along the way to improve my dental health. I strongly recommend Dr. Del Valle and her team.

I was on the hunt for a compassionate and kind dentist after a couple of awful experiences.  I finally had the opportunity to get good dental insurance that allowed me to select the office I wanted to go to, and after reading all the reviews, I picked Dr. Del Valle’s office.  I don’t need to reiterate everything already stated here; but it is true, she is the best in town.  Not only that, she is funny and not alarmist about your oral care.  Her staff is kind and caring, offering anything I might need to deal with my dental anxiety.  If I could give more than five stars, I would.  Highly recommended

For the first time they made getting a cavitive filled not painfull at all. I haven’t gone to the dentist in years and I was very nervous so they played my favorite music Adele. They worked with my schedule and they answer any questions I have in full detail so we are on the same page, which I appreciate.

Great staff who will make you feel comfortable and welcome. Had an emergency abscess on a tooth that no one else in town was able to perform on in a reasonable time frame. They originally had a packed schedule but when Dr. Del Valle heard of my issue their team promptly called me back for an evaluation and scheduled me later in the day to fix my tooth problem I’d been procrastinating on far too long. Would 10/10 recommend this team to any of my family or friends

The very best kept secret in Eugene! Outstanding professional work, and even better personal atmosphere. I’ll bet there are many reading this who have never had FUN sitting in a dentist’s chair, and maybe find it hard to imagine… yet here it is so. Mercedes, Karen, and Jaun are the very best at what they do, hands down… treat yourself to the best dentistry available in this town!

I was terrified of dentistry due to several bad experiences over time. My teeth and gums were in terrible shape. Dr. Delvalle and her staff have provided exemplary care in a compassionate manner. Mercedes R. Del Valle and staff are friendly and welcoming. Ms. Del Valle is gentle and energized to help you make your teeth and smile healthy and bright! She genuinely loves her job and her knowledge of dentistry is amazing. I always leave encouraged and thankful for her expertise. I dread dental visits, but Ms. Del Valle and her staff make the experience as painless and stress less as possible!

Traveling through Eugene, I had a fastbraces bracket pop off. Mercedes was one of 3 providers in Oregon. Upon calling, she took me in immediately and fixed me up – This was even during the COVID 19 pandemic when only emergency patients could be seen. A week later ANOTHER bracket had popped off, and once again, Mercedes saw me, and fixed me up. I can’t say how grateful I am for Mercedes, but the care, expertise, and professionalism she showed throughout. Would absolutely recommend her for dental and fastbraces!

We don’t think or say, “great I get to go to the dentist this week”.  Some of us are able to say, “since I must go to the dentist this week, at least I have a great dentist”.  I was lucky over 10 years  ago to discover Dr. Mercedes Del Valle.  I have found her to be knowledgeable, skillful, and concerned about me.  Both Dr. Del Valle’s front office and back office are also caring and very professional.

The dental assistants, doctor, and other staff are all brilliant, friendly, and welcoming. I have had a cleaning and a filling done on separate occasions and will absolutely return when needed. Everything that was happening was well communicated and they seemed genuinely interested when I spoke and made sure I was comfortable no matter what. If you are nervous about getting numbing, this is the dentist to go to! I have anxiety with the numbing needle, but my experience here was like no other and I seriously did not feel a thing. I am used to having the side of my face feel numb after a filling but the technique here was a single tooth and it did numb past the tooth itself. Easily the best experience at a dentist I have ever had!

Yesterday my bridge on my right lower side of the mouth surprisingly came off (this is an old bridge and not from Dr. Del Valle) and I called the clinic if I could get an appointment the next day and I did. Dr. del Valle fix it and did some more dental work on my mouth to prepare me for a new bridge to replace the old one. I was so happy that they were able to quickly accommodate me and fix my problem. I like Dr. del Valle and the staff as they are very approachable and treat their patients well.

I am extremely fortunate to have selected Dr Mercedes Del Valle as my dentist. I have an extensive dental history. I am also a tiny person with a very small mouth. My first visit took over 2 hours, while she meticulously examined every tooth and reviewed my extensive dental history. I was very impressed with her extreme detail and precision as she showed me on her very advanced (and high-tech) computerized imaging. Also, her knowledge and confidence re-assured my anxiety and fear. I knew I was in very capable hands and knew she would be my Dentist. I require a lot of dental work and she prioritized the most important with the emphasis on not spending as  much money since I do not have dental insurance! Her injections were painless. I told her I had many dental injections and this was the first time I did not feel a thing!! She did fillings in the teeth next to my front teeth and they look like the original tooth!!…. magnificent!! Dr Del Valle is very down to earth, compassionate and caring. Becky, her assistant, is super friendly and caring. Nicole was ultra-gentle and meticulous with her teeth cleaning, and delightful. Erin and the front desk staff are warm, friendly and efficient. Thank you for saving me money. I have seen many dentists over my long life and I have to say that Dr. Del Valle is one of the most honest dentists I have ever met. Highly recommend!

Dr. Mercedes del valle saw me today after one call…got me right in for a broken front tooth. Was very good to me, in my poor financial state, and did not make me feel bad for my horrible looking teeth. She did not try to say i needed tons of expensive work…she did everything so nicely, friendly, and clean…i have never been to a better dentist in my life, and i am over age 50….i love this dentist and am looking forward to my next visit….laurie

I am the most happiest and grateful person to have met this great dentist that got me past my most fears of dentistry. She has the most patient and understanding heart that anyone can ask for. Now I can’t wait for my next appointment to get my missing teeth from years of fear. I absolutely thank her for all her hard work and patience. She truly shows her compassion towards people. I you are afraid of needles or the dentist; she has it all to calm you and make you comfortable and make you feel better and safe. I recently had the pleasure of filling in at Dr. Del Valle’s office. I have been a dental hygienist in the Eugene area for MANY years and have worked for some of the finest dentists.  I would like to say Dr. Del Valle is among the very Best.  Her whole office is warm, fun, professional and has the best interest of every patient that walks through the door.  Clinically she is a perfectionist with an incredible eye for detail and she makes your whole experience sooo much fun. I don’t think you will  find a better dentist for every member of your whole family.  She makes me proud of our profession and I give her whole team 5 stars, they are the Best !!!

Dr. Del Valle and staff were patient and kind with my 2 year old. They even sang itsy bitsy spider while they checked her mouth. It was her first appointment, and all of it was new to her. She was upset, but they continued to be patient. Office staff let her feed the fish and keep her busy while I got an X-ray done. I needed a deep cleaning during a separate appointment, and the staff was very kind again. My hygienist was consistently checking in on me and making sure I was comfortable. The atmosphere is very chill and calm. Really cool fish as well as good coffee options. I’m glad I made the switch to this office!

Absolutely the best family dentist we have ever known! Mercedes and her staff are quick, caring, compassionate and highly skilled. My wife, my son and myself have been going to her practice for years. I would and do recommend her for all family and general dentistry needs. In my opinion, there is none better!
