We live in out of state and traveled to CO during winter break. Our little one was revised by Dr. Bieneman for posterior tongue tie. He is very patient, honest and educates his patients thoroughly! I highly recommend him as a Dentist. He was referred to me by Dr. who is well-known for research/treatment of tongue tie. Dr. Bieneman has the top-notch laser for tongue tie revision. I am very pleased with my little one’s revision: it healed without reattachment and she is nursing very well. The most notable change is she spits up less by 95%! If you are considering revision for tongue tie, go to Dr. Bieneman!

Dr. Bieneman did the lip and tongue tie on our 8 day old newborn. We were having some issues breastfeeding and were referred to him by our pediatrician, which was backed up again by an entire breastfeeding support group of women. Scheduling was easy, and we got in right away. I was a nervous wreck to have lasers at my newborns face, I cried all morning. However, when we got to the office and met him, I calmed down. He was very knowledgeable and kind. He was gentle with our little guy, and made us feel much better about what we were looking at. The procedure took less than 10 minutes and our little one came back calm. We fed him immediately and were able to leave. So far, he has latched this morning with no problem and also didn’t seem to be in any pain or discomfort overnight, we slept better than normal. We started the exercises and he does really well while we do those as well. Overall, we had a GREAT experience. I do not regret this choice at all, and foresee us continuing to make the drive to see Dr. Bieneman for future dental needs.

Dr Bieneman has done frenectomies on both of my sons. One three years ago and one 6 weeks ago. I could not have breastfed my boys without his help and services. I was given poor information from multiple pediatricians and lactation consultants about tongue and lip ties. My advice is this: if you are having trouble or pain breastfeeding your child seek a consultation with Dr Bieneman and do not take you pediatrician’s word for it. Dr Bieneman is also extremely kind and helpful. He may look young, but his experience in this area is substantial, and many other pediatric dentists/pediatricians do not have a good understanding of this issue. I cannot recommend his services enough for issues with tongue and lip ties in infants.

We were referred to Dr Bienaman from my lactation consultant for a frenulotomy consult. The front office staff is absolutely amazing and was accomodating during my fight with Delta dental regarding getting the procedure covered. A month after the initial consult, we were finally able to get the procedure done. Dr Bieneman explained it very in depth and gave us a lot of valuable information. He was very efficient, our 3 month old was in and out in no time. The office is also very supportive during the healing process. I would absolutely recommend the practice to anyone seeking an expert frenulotomy for an infant.

Dr. Bienemen did a tongue-tie, lip-tie, and buccal-tie revision on my 8 week old daughter. He was very kind, concerned, and caring. His mannerisms was welcoming, and I felt very comfortable talking to him about our challenges with breastfeeding. He seemed confident in his abilities to help my child, and was happy to provide me with his cell phone number so that I might reach him directly with any concerns. I wouls highly recommend him to anyone whose child has oral tethers. I drove all the day from Grand Junction for our appointment and would do so all over again.

Dr. Bieneman was a great choice to take my 6 month old to for her lip & tongue tie release procedure. They got her into an appointment within a week, and answered any and all questions I had. Before and after he took the time to sit down with us, and made sure we knew everything. He provided us with step by step instructions for after care, a 24/7 phone number we could get ahold of him. His receptionist Hanna was wonderful too, she gave us all the information needed for insurance and again assured us if we had any questions that we were more than welcome to call. His office was very calm and not crowded, loud or uninviting. Overall it was a great experience, I’d highly recommend him if parents are looking for a provider for the type of procedure we had.

We were so fortunate to find Dr. Bieneman for our daughter’s lip and tongue tie revisions. Things were reaching a breaking point with my daughter; all of us were struggling so much due to the ties, for nearly a year. After much research, second and third opinions, and many providers who were clearly lacking knowledge, Dr. Bieneman is the only one whom we felt we could trust implicitly. We absolutely made the right decision. He was always readily available by phone and email to answer any questions. (There were many.) He always took the time to explain everything thoroughly. We finally found someone with enough knowledge and experience to not only put the pieces together for us, but who was also able to provide a few of the missing pieces. After only a few weeks our daughter has already made a marked improvement in multiple areas. For the first time, we have been able to feel very confident about our daughter’s future well-being. Can’t thank Dr. Bieneman and his staff enough; they were always friendly, professional, and helpful.

Almost immediately upon discharge from the hospital I realized I needed help correcting my newborn daughter’s latch. I reached out to Dr. Bieneman’s office to see if they had any availability to help revise my daughter’s tongue tie. They gave us priority treatment and were very patient with us when we got caught up in the snarl of Denver traffic arriving ten minutes late. Dr. Bieneman was incredibly informative and very gentle in how he treated my tiny infant throughout the process. His procedure time was surprisingly fast. We were given our own room for the consult and recovery where I could try to nurse my daughter; I appreciated the privacy. I went into the procedure knowing my daughter’s latch needed additional efforts following the procedure. I found chiropractic and CST care as well as Speech/Occupational Therapy for suck training AND a clinic with excellent lactation consultants in my area who all teamed up to help me reach my goal of exclusive breastfeeding. It was a very long haul and a LOT of effort but I’ve never had to give my daughter formula and she transitioned to exclusive breastfeeding between 3 and 4 months old. I am so thankful for the critical role Dr. Bieneman’s office played in getting us off on the right foot. I would definitely recommend him to other parents considering revision. (I’m actually hoping to be a future revision patient myself in the future!)

Such a thoughtful individual. He did my child’s tongue tie revision with such ease. He even brought her back and she wasn’t crying. Then he continued to build me up as a parent and then proceeded to show me how to stretch her tongue every 8 hours. I believe in this man, what he does, and wish we would have known to just do it sooner than later. Caused issues with feeding solids and speech delays. Dr. Bieneman sat down with us first, discussed everything going on, evaluated her tongue, told me I wasn’t crazy and then he did the procedure in the office that day. We were in and out in about an hour and half. I would recommend him to any parents, family, friends I have.

I took my 2 year old to Dr. Bieneman. He is very knowledgeable about tongue ties, facial muscle tone and chewing, and of course teeth. I was impressed and my toddler was instantly comfortable him as well as his staff. They were fantastic. I would suggest, however, that they make the sitting room kid friendly with at least a box of toys. A little table with a small play area would make children comfortable and get them out of the way of the adult patients. Most dentists that work with kids have really nice play areas.
