Dr. Duoug and his staff are marvelous! I started Invisalign therapy when I was 61 after 2 1/2 years (4 months delayed because of Covid). I’m done and I’m extremely pleased! At the outset, I asked a dentist client of mine to refer me to “The A Team” of Orthodontics and Dentistry in the Ridgewood area. He referred Dr. Duong without hesitation, and after an entire treatment cycle I DO TOO! Through the difficulty of the pandemic he and his staff were diligent and as accomodating as possible. After visiting many different orthodontists, we found Dr. Duong, what a great experience for our Son and us, he was the only doctor who did not suggest removal of teeth to start with the procedure. He explained the process in a way our son and us understood it and was very dedicated to get us thru the treatment in a very easy way. What a wonderful staff he has, we can’t say enough about them all. Our Son loved his Duong Dollars program, what a great idea to keep your child on track and always taking care of their teeth and their grades, they were always there when we needed to have our Son seen for any reason, they always accommodated us. Dr. Duong and his staff are truly EXCEPTIONAL. They are kind and compassionate and always put their patients FIRST!!! They are so attentive and very detailed in their approach. Feels more like being part of a family then a business relationship. They always work with you no matter the circumstance. The office is easily accessible and clean as well as up to date. They even care about the kids outside of just their dental needs. They have programs that allow kids to earns points to be able to get gift cards etc (show them your report card and things of that nature) I can’t wait until it is time for my son to get his braces as I will only use Precision Orthodontics. I highly recommend Dr. Duong for anyone looking for a good orthodontist, I myself had braces at a different practice when I was a teenager but I was never given retainers so eventually my teeth stared to move and I decided two years ago to get braces again. I couldn’t be happier with my end results, my teeth look great! I now wear my retainers every night. I had such a wonderful experience that I now bring my son to see Dr. Duong as well. It’s only been about two months but his teeth are already looking great! The practice is clean & hours are flexible, also if you make an appointment you will be seen on time as long as you’re on time.

We transferred to Dr. Duong from out of state and my son already had braces on from our previous ortho. Dr. D took the time to call our out of state Ortho and discuss what had been done. He then took the time to talk with me and explain his treatment plan which was different then what had been started. I am so happy we moved! My sons braces are off and his teeth look amazing. Dr. Duong treated my son like family. Always kind, explained everything he was doing, his office is immaculate and his staff is so kind. We are so happy we found this ortho.

My son needed braces for a few reason. We researched a few other orthodontist before choosing Dr. Duong. Our first visit was very informative, comfortable and with no pressure for service solutions. Dr. Duong answer all my families questions and addressed all my son concerns. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The office is clean, kid friendly with a good size entertainment area for kids to wait in, there is even a hygiene refreshing station for the kids and adults patients to use. Dr. Duong works on both pediatric and adult teeth. His pricing was comparable and reasonable for my research. I would recommend Dr. Duong to my friend if need be.

The office is a very clean and professional place, however, it is also a very friendly place. Dr, Duong and his staff are the best! Dr Duong and his staff is definitely worthy to comment and write about. Not only does Dr Duong have and own his own practice, but he also still teaches as a professor at Columbia University in New York City. With this said, he is certainly updated with the most recent and newest information and equipment in his industry. One look at his beautiful office in Ridgewood, NJ and you already know that he has the latest gadgets. I’ve never been to any office (ortho, doctor, dentist, optha, etc) that serves drinks, coffee, and has a Nintendo Wii for the kids. The best waiting area I’ve ever sat in. I’m not saying you shouldn’t look around, meet and greet other Othrodontists around the area, but when I say that once you set foot and meet the staff at Preceision Orthodontics during your free consultation, you will definitely feel right at home and know you’ll be taken care off once you choose them. It’s not like my teeth were throwing “gang signs,” but I knew that my smile was not perfect. A few years ago, I had all of my wisdom teeth removed in one fell swoop and my bottom teeth began to shift and crowd soon after that. Dr. Duong over the past few years has perfected my smile and restored my confidence and I’m so grateful to him and his staff at Precision Orthodontics. I probably wasn’t Dr. Duong’s easiest Invisalign patient; I’m bicoastal (I live in LA but often come to the East Coast) and I often needed appointments on short notice. Thankfully, scheduling appointments with his office was very easy and Dr. Duong has great bedside manner so he was always pleasant and awesome as he checked out how my teeth were coming along. Also despite his busy schedule, I never felt rushed or that he wasn’t giving his full attention to my questions or concerns. All in all, Dr. Duong is great at what he does and at the end of the day your smile will be proof of that. My only regret is that I didn’t go to Dr. Duong to get my smile perfected before my wedding a few years ago!!

Excellent experience from start to finish. I have always appreciated that the office runs on time, all our appointments are right when they’re supposed to be, Dr. Duong is always friendly and incredibly efficient. My son just got his braces off, and his smile is incredible. Maybe most importantly in my experience is that every time we had a concern, maybe a wire was hurting my son’s mouth or just recently what to do when my son misplaced his retainer, the office responds urgently. After doing extensive research on orthodontists and a few local consultations, I visited Dr. Duong at Precision Orthodontics with my 9 year old son for his overbite. I take special care in choosing our medical providers as my son has had “white coat syndrome” in the past, especially with dental visits. He was indeed anxious prior to our visit, and upon arrival. From the moment the front desk receptionist introduced him to the video games, to the x-ray technician promptly getting all the pictures done without discomfort (which has never happened before), it was as if my son never had anxiety in the dentist’s chair in the past! Dr. Duong has a way with kids that puts them at ease even at the first visit. After the exam, he explained his findings in layman’s terms and outlined all aspects of his recommended treatment plan, which included the expected length of treatment, necessary follow up visits, and alternate treatment plans as well. Lucy, his treatment coordinator, was also extremely helpful during our visit, with both helping my son to relax once in the exam room, and with answering my questions regarding insurance coverage. I highly recommend Dr. Duong and Precision Orthodontics for anyone looking for warm, personalized service in a modern and relaxed atmosphere.

As a non-typical and older patient, I had concerns about getting braces and being comfortable with the orthodontist. Dr. D eased those concerns right away with his professionalism and attention to detail. Throughout the process, Dr. D always listened to my concerns about how my teeth were shaping up and tried to address everything as best as he could. Can’t say enough about the staff as well .. Rita, Lucy and the other girls are great. Although I wish the cost was cheaper, Precision still offers the best comparable pricing for the quality of services I provided when doing my initial search – to get the cost down a little try maxing out your FSA if you have that option through your employer.

Dr. Duong is an excellent, professional orthodontist who is very informed with all of the newest state of the art equipment and procedures. He also seems like he just enjoys what he is doing. My son’s teeth were very crooked to the point that he rarely smiled big, even when he was at his happiest. 22 months later and his teeth look fantastic!!! His smile is huge now and we are all thrilled with the outcome! My daughter went to another orthodontist for her braces 6 years ago and has been having problems with her teeth for the past 3 years regardless of the fact that she has been wearing her retainers everyday. After giving up on that orthodontist to fix her teeth she is now under Dr. Duong’s care to correct her bite and her misaligned teeth due to her having a retainer that stopped before her back molars and caused her bite to be off and her teeth to move. After my 3 experiences with orthodontists, I can truly say that Dr. Duong and his staff are excellent! The office is clean and happy and very welcoming! I highly recommend him!

Our experience with Dr. Duong and his staff was extremely pleasant and positive. Dr. Duong is highly professional, knowledgeable, and approachable. He’s using the high-tech equipment and stays on top of industry updates by attending workshops and seminars. After evaluating my daughter’s condition he found several problems with her teeth that had to be taken care of before staring the braces. He explained what needs to be done and what options do we have. He also recommended an orthodontic surgeant who did a great job. Another great thing is that the office has the incentive to motivate kids to take a good care of their teeth while wearing braces. Kids are given “Duong dollars” that could be used to buy some valuables once the treatment is over. Office staff is awesome and work as a great team. They’re very friendly and caring. Dr. Duong is a lifesaver! As a working adult, 15 years out of braces, I had a major shift of two bottom teeth leaving an embarrassing gap. My childhood Orthodontist (who was 30 minutes away) refused to discuss an alternative to a full set of traditional brackets. I knew I would have to find a new Orthodontist and being in Ridgewood, Dr. Duong was my first choice. He coordinated with my specific needs (cost and ability to remove the appliance) and created a removable active lower retainer. It took less than 6 months to close the gap and realign the two teeth! Couldn’t be happier! Also, have you seen his office? It’s really well designed and is definitely keeping up with the times. Bright modern colors, flat screen monitors, and interactive games for younger patients in the waiting room. The staff is also very nice and helpful. I normally speak with Lucy. I would definitely recommend Dr. Duong to adults and kids who need an Orthodontist.

I’ve known Dr. Duong for about 10 years now and the first impression he left with me is his passion for his practice and clients. I’m a big fan of doctors who are thorough, organized and takes the time to lay out all the options and recommendations. When I got braces, he would always make me feel comfortable while I was on the chair by providing me with detailed information on every step and procedure as well as making me stay calm. He is very knowledgable and stays on top of the latest medical techniques. And he is always very responsive because I still from time to time ask for his advice. He continues to welcome me to check back in to ensure that I’m still happy with my smile. Two thumbs up from me!
