Our whole family (2 kids, my parents, husband) goes to Dr. Shah. We all feel comfortable with any type of service she provides because she takes time to thoroughly explain the steps and answers any questions. She has a very gentle hand. When work is needed she provides you with several options, always starting with the most conservative. She considers what is best for the longevity of your teeth and the economic impact that decision may have on you. We would highly recommend her for your dentist.

(…) Dr. Pinal always gives me a suggestion of what kind of dental work I need and let me pick which dental procedure that I would like to take rather than “forcing” me to do what the book says. Whenever there’s a dental procedure I need to have, she always explains the reason behind the procedure in great detail – most dentists don’t want to do this because it’s just more work for them, but thank god, Dr. Pinal is diligent and kind enough to let me understand the importance of the procedure and at the same time, understand and is willing to find a workaround with her best effort (to buy me some time) so that I can save up some money in order to do the procedure. Her staffs are also friendly, have a good sense of humor and easy-going. Overall, this place is a great place to be if you need some dental work.

Dr. Shah and her assistants did a fabulous job for me today! It was relatively quick and painless, and someone was even nice enough to hold my hand while they gave me the numbing shot (which I was grateful for since that was what I was most afraid of). They did a good amount of work in about an hour and a half, and everyone was so gentle and kind with me, I will definitely be coming back if I need anything else done. The office is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere, and Dr. Shah is a wonderful dentist. I would gladly come back for any future services.

(…) I had a deep cleaning done last year and she was gentle. She also helped me get rid of a small gum infection. I like her approach of managing dental health with essential treatments (like regular cleanings) without going overboard on recommending expensive treatment like implants, unless it’s absolutely necessary.
The staffs at this office are awesome as well and always smiling. Melissa is great as usual. She called me when there are last-minute cancellations to get me in sooner. First time she called, I couldn’t make it. Second time she called, I rearrange my plan and made it on time. Today, I had a regular dental cleaning done by Lucy. She is friendly, caring, fast and efficient. My mouth felt so clean and healthy (…).

Now this is what I call service with a smile. These guys are a total professional and I do not hesitate a single bit to drive all the way from Corona. Dr. Shah and her entire team are very polite and do not push for unnecessary services (which other dentists do). (…) She has the high tech equipment and knows how to use it. I’m happy. She always looks at your mouth, not just the obvious that you came in for. NOT overselling but she works on keeping you informed of the condition of your mouth, what conservatively and preventatively needs be done but will not push you. It’s your mouth!
In the 5+ years that I have been returning to her, I have never been rushed or felt unimportant. Her staff, Lucy and Melissa seem to hear each other through walls and work as a cohesive team. Here you can be confident that your health is most important. I’m not worried here.

Every time I visit she spends time in examining. Shows me the x-ray images on a screen to make sure I understand what is she going to do. This new office looks very clean and all equipment seems new and modern. She has good support staff too. Dr. Shah and Melissa are wonderful! I have terrible dental anxiety (in large part because I hate anesthesia) but they are both incredibly patient and make it a much better experience. I am really happy I found Irvine Smile Arts Dentistry. From day 1 I have had nothing but great interactions at the office and on the phone with Dr. Shah’s Staff. They have put together a great dental experience. I haven’t seen the dentist in like 10 years so had a bunch of work that needed to be done. After my initial x-rays, I was let know of everything that needed to be done along with a list of the pricing with what would be covered and what wouldn’t. Everything was upfront and I was able to decide what do first according to severity and what not and depending on my budget which I liked. I decided to do it all as I was having lots of pain and headaches. Charged it on 0% interest card and happy I did. Dr. Shah’s skills are top notch. From numbing to final product I was very impressed and very very happy with the results. No more headaches and glad to know I am saving myself from even bigger dental problems down the road. I’m glad I found Dr. Shah and will continue going to see her for all of my dental work. By the way, good dental work isn’t cheap so don’t be complaining you aren’t getting all of your dental work for 70 bucks!!

I personally love Dr. Shah and her assistants. I first found this dentist office online after having a horrible experience at a previous office elsewhere in Irvine. Dr. Shah and her staff are so kind and caring. I have a tiny mouth and it is always a pain for any dentist to do my x-rays, but the staff is always very patient and gentle when doing them. I also am happy that Dr. Shah respects her patient’s opinions instead of trying to pressure you into doing a procedure you feel is unnecessary. I personally have a lot of teeth issues including an impacted tooth and extra teeth that a few dentists and oral surgeons have tried pressuring me to get removed (…). I do not want to get them removed because they do not bug me and Dr. Shah fully understood my opinion and has never pressured me into doing that or any other procedure. She is the best dentist I have ever had (and I’ve gone thru plenty of dentists over the years), so I would highly recommend her to everyone.

(…) The dentist Dr. Shah was great. she took her time, gave me a complete check-up and then explained in a clear and concise way what I needed immediately and what could wait until a later date. I was really astounded by her knowledge and her patience with any questions that I had. She is obviously very experienced and has kept up on the latest techniques. I had broken a tooth and was in some discomfort, Dr Shah was gentile and warned me if she was going to do anything that might cause some pain. I am happy to say that her warnings while appreciated were really not needed. I had a temporary crown put on my broken tooth and while it is never easy to have extensive dental work done, it was done in an efficient and pain-free manner. At one point I told Dr Shah that whatever she was doing didn’t hurt at all, she smiled and said “that’s a good thing”. The office staff was up to date on my insurance plan and was able to tell me exactly how much coverage I had for the procedures that I needed, I appreciated that these days it is good to know what you need to budget. We discussed what was needed, came up with a schedule that met both my availability, my dental needs and my budget. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for excellent dental care in a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Dr. Shah and her team are amazing! She clearly explained the issues regarding my mouth as well as her reasoning for her given treatment plan. She numbed me very well prior to treatment and I was very comfortable during the crown removal/temporary crown placement (I went for a full porcelain crown). In addition, when Dr. Shah placed the adjusted temporary crown on the treated tooth, it gave my tongue more room to sit as the crown was less bulky compared to the previous one, thus eliminating a lisp I had for an entire year due to the placement of a crown on the opposite side of my mouth. She even repaired a cavity on the tooth in front of the old crown as well as the one behind it at no additional charge as I had no build-up to be removed. The crown prices-both with insurance and out of pocket-are very reasonable, and I didn’t feel pressured to get anything done that I didn’t want done/wasn’t necessary.
I am very pleased with her work and look forward to future visits!

I am scared of dentists, so much I have not had work done in over 20 years, then I broke a tooth. Dr Shah & her assistant (Lucy, who really knows what she is doing) took so good care of me. Scheduling was no problem, they took my insurance, I told them upfront how I am basically a p….when it comes to my teeth & their drill. Dr. Shah was SO gentle & caring. she did an excellent job & kept asking me if I was OK & making sure I was comfortable. On top of this, she is gorgeous, fun & has a great vibe around her, totally unpretentious & down to earth. I really don’t understand she is not booked 6 months out.
