I had to have several teeth extracted in preparation for implants and was expecting a painful, harrowing experience. To my relief, the entire process was anything but. Dr. Park is so meticulously careful and attentive that I experienced practically no discomfort throughout the entire procedure and very little afterward. I don’t typically write reviews but figured I owed this office one. Highly recommend to anyone.

Dr. Park is hands down one of the most considerate doctors I’ve had. She pays attention to body language and notices any pain you might be experiencing. Shes always explaining what she’s doing as she’s working, so there’s never a moment when you’re surprised or caught off guard because c’mon, dental visits can be scary. But she made it a very comfortable experience!

I hate going to the dentist so much that I waited for 5 years before finding a Laguna Beach Dentist. But Dr. Park was so nice, understanding, patient, gentle and caring. She cleaned my teeth instead of a hygienist which I really appreciate. She took time with the shots of Novocain. The assistant was great with the suction as I hate the taste of the things they use. I guess I like them because they took my phobia with understanding and treated me so kindly. I will absolutely go back. If you’re waiting to go, like I was…go ahead and make the appointment with Island Dentistry. I had Dr. Park… Very very good.

Today Dr. Park extracted my wisdom teeth – with local anesthetic only. What I thought would be a scary, uncomfortable experience turned out to be fast and painless. Dr. Park frequently checked to make sure I was doing okay and completed the surgery in under an hour. I can honestly say she’s the best dentist I’ve ever had and that I’m looking forward to my post-op appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Park and her staff!

Finally got myself to the dentist after moving down to Laguna last year, and they were great. Very attentive and upbeat, and the dentist explained all the things she found and even made me look in a mirror inside my mouth so I could learn/understand what was up. They also have the fancy new X-ray machines that don’t hurt your mouth at all. Super happy to have found them and easily plan to go back for my next cleaning.

Dr. Juhee Park received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. In school, she stood out among her class in her laboratory work and clinic experiences. She also enjoyed volunteering her time in local community free dental clinics and Nicaragua dental mission trips. She took advantage of any opportunity she could find to use her skill for the community and to help people without access to dental care. To this day, she continues her passion for dentistry by staying current with industry trends, technology and continuing education. Dr. Park completed advanced education in implant dentistry through the Loma Linda University/AAID Implant MaxiCourse. Dr. Park values people above all, and her strength lies in communication. She always strives for harmony and has a knack for getting her patients to smile right along with her. She was raised by very artistic parents, and crafting and drawing are second nature to her. She focuses her talent and technique on cosmetic dentistry, providing her patients with their ideal smiles. Dr. Park is a food connoisseur.
