Dr. Portman Rimma is my cosmetic dentist. I first went for a dental exam and I was very impressed by all the staff and how friendly and pleasant they were. When I met the doctor I could tell immediately that I would like him and I was right. I have been back several times since and I have enjoyed each experience. I would definitely recommend this dental care office. Thanks again.

I’ve always had a huge fear of dentists since I was a toddler. That fear only worsen as I grew older. The last time I went to the dentist was about 7|8 years ago (as an adult). I never went back (different dental practice in Jersey) bc mid way I had a panic attack. They were so non-compassionate about my anxieties and that I was prone to panic attacks; I prob should’ve sued the shit outta them (lol). I chose iSmile based on the reviews on Yelp and 2 personal reviews from my clients. My tooth has been hurting for a month and I no longer could ignore the pain. So outta anger I made an appointment. Lmao yes you read that right! Anger; I was mad about something unrelated about my tooth. When I’m angry I feel real brave and daring (lol) so my ass made an appointment to the dentist (lmao). I am so unbelievably happy that I chose iSmile. I did write in my notes on Zoc Doc that I am extremely nervous. Not sure whether they saw that or not. Dun dun dun finally day of my appointment. The morning of I was contemplating on “not waking up in time to becoming ill to I’m lost and can’t find the office”. I went eventually… My dental hygienist was Erica; which I will ALWAYS request. I guess she felt and saw how nervous I was. And after explaining to her why I haven’t been to the dentist in forever she really took it seriously. She even offered to numb my gums which made me feel “safe”. By her doing so I noticed that I didn’t start to hyperventilate when she was about to start (which I always did in the past). Erica was amazing from beginning to end. She was so friendly, so kind and so understanding. I really truly appreciate her so much. Bc she made my experience easy and comforting. I think if things didn’t go as Erica did it I would never ever see a dentist again for another 7|8 or more years. She actually set it up for the dentist; I wasn’t afraid. Nervous yes but NOT afraid. Dr Portman was great too. Can tell she is passionate and understanding. Looking forward to going back in Feb; can’t believe I said that……… but uh yeah. GO TO iSMILE you won’t regret

I stumbled on this place without a recommendation or any research. I was just sick of looking for a new dentist who takes my insurance and they did, so I went. How lucky am I? ISmile is just a lovely place with lovely people. The staff at the front desk are all friendly and helpful. The place is very nicely decorated in calm colors. The dentists and hygienists were all very professional and kind. Two thumbs way up!

Simply the best dental visit one could ask for. I’ve had several veneers placed at both locations. Williamsburg and Park Slope are the standard for how an office should look. Both are clean, beautiful, modern offices. With that being said, there are many nice looking offices, its New York after all. Rimma and her staff stand out because of the care they provide. They’re professional, nice, caring. My smile has never looked better.

I’ve been a patient of Doctor Portman’s for years and am so glad they have opened another location in Park Slope. No surprise, I received the same next level service that I do in their Williamsburg Office. Her bedside manner and personality take the anxiety out of going to the dentist and the office itself is beautiful. I cannot imagine going anywhere else.

Where do I start? Everything about this office is fantastic. The doctor and staff were helpful and sweet. I was seen 5 minutes after my arrival, with the paperwork that I filled out online, already printed and ready for my signature. I was seated by a very nice assistant named Vicky who I chatted with for 2 minutes prior to doctor Portman entering the room. She went over all of my questions, answered them honestly and directly. She was great. Quite honestly, I’ve never had a better dental experience anywhere.

I’ve been a patient of Doctor Portman’s for over 4 years and was excited to check out her new location in Park Slope. The same excellent service that I’m accustomed to in her Williamsburg office was what I received here. Her bedside manner and personality are amazing and the office is beautiful, clean and modern. I could never imagine going to anyone else.

I came to this office after being disappointed in my previous one and I’m so glad I did! The staff was nice and very patient, took the time to explain things well and give me multiple options. In my previous experience my dental office was trying to up sell and overcharge for things, and this office was quite the opposite- they came to me and recommended the most cost effective options they could and were very transparent. Very pleased!

I needed an emergency dentist and found Dr. Rimma Portman whose office was close by. They took me right away and Dr. Portman performed emergency root canal on a molar that was excruciatingly painful. Since that time I have been back several times so that scenario will never happen again. I owe my healthy teeth to Dr. Portman.

What an amazing place and a great service. I had an emergency and was taken in quickly. The front staff was cordial and attending. I got walked into the room. Very clean and you can tell everything has been wiped clean. Dr Portman knew exactly what the issue was. Great dentist. Could not have asked for a better experience. You got a customer for life.
