I couldn’t be more pleased with Dr. Serdar’s office. I’ve been a patient for over a year and whether it is a cleaning or smoothing out a chip on a tooth, they always do a fantastic job. I will continue to refer friends and coworkers — best dentist I have had.

Dr. Serdar and his colleagues are as good as it gets. The patient experience and quality of care goes beyond expectation. Dr Serdar is the clinician you want to keep on your care team indefinitely. His colleagues including Katie (hygienist) and Carmen (managing access) are incredibly personable and caring. Despite coming here only few times a year at most, definitely feel part of the ‘family.’  I feel incredibly confident in the clinical guidance given and feel my voice is heard.  I never ever feel i’m being sold something or opinions are made outside of what is best for my care.  This is the place to get dental care!

The whole practice is consistently pleasant, professional, and effective. When a filling came out six months (or more) after it was put in, Dr. Serdar had me come in to fix it without charge. The practice is also lovely, clean, and lets you watch TV shows during a cleaning or drilling.

Dr. Serdar is the best dentist in the entire world, HANDS DOWN. I have unbelievably severe dentalphobia, having been mistreated by more than one dentist in my life, and from the first time I sat down in Dr. Serdar’s chair, I knew that I needn’t be afraid any longer. He is gentle, caring and considerate and does amazing work. Even getting an injection from Dr. Serdar is a pleasure. No, I mean that, the guy is AMAZING.

I went to Dr. Serdar for about 4 years and referred at least 10 other people to see him. I am so sad that I moved out of the bay area because I am now having the worst time trying to find someone who even compares. Key points: – Entire staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. Carmen (the front desk assistant) is awesome. – Dr. Serdar is an absolute perfectionist – this really counts when you’re doing major dental work! – Very nice office, latest equipment, etc. – Dr. Serdar is VERY observant. He notices every reaction and makes you feel comfortable about what he is doing. – Parking is difficult – I usually park in the Macy’s Ellis/OFarrell garage. One more thing: when you pick a dvd to watch during your cleaning/ procedure, don’t pick something too funny! I made the mistake of picking Will & Grace one time, and I had the hardest time not laughing while poor Katie was trying to clean my teeth!

I just discovered Dr Serdar and his practice when our previous dentist retired. (I’m thrilled he did retire because otherwise we wouldn’t have found Dr. Serdar.)  I had my first visit to fix a nasty cracked tooth that needed a new crown. Dr Serdar was fantastic, the best dentist I’ve ever been to – patient and sensitive to any discomfort I might be having.  The high technology capabilities at his facility had my tooth fixed in 90 minutes – including an on site computer 3D created crown.  Wow.  I am recommending him to every one I know.  His staff were also fantastic. The fact that his office in a great part of San Francisco didn’t hurt either.  I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I actually almost look forward to going to the dentist now. I get to sit back and relax in a swanky office overlooking Union Square while watching Sex & the City on DVD while Dr. Serdar does his thang. Dr. Serdar actually discouraged me from getting expensive treatments that I thought I needed — I didn’t think people turned down free money anymore!

Most people loathe going to the dentist.  I’m the rare soul on Earth that actually enjoys it, due to Dr Serdar, his staff and the surroundings of his office. From the minute you step off the elevator you are greeted by friendly Carmen and ushered to a goegoeus and modern waiting area with comfortable couches and every great magazine under the sun. When you are escorted to your room area, you are greeted with floor to ceiling windows that overlook Union Square.  Sit down in the chair and you can pick from DVDs or Hulu to watch while having your teeth cleaned, a filling, root canal, etc.  I have been so relaxed during these treatments that I’ve dozed off a few times. The most important aspect however is trusting a professional and excellent dentist, which in my opinion Dr Serdar is the best.  I have had my share of dental work done, and really admire his approach.  I never get the sense that he is forcing me to have something done–but is honest in his recommendations.  And I know that the work he does is of the top notch quality.  He is a perfectionist and his work reflects that.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Serdar’s for over two years as he was recommended to me when I moved to San Francisco.  I can’t say enough kind words to describe how I feel completely taken care of by Dr. Serdar, his dental assistants, hygienists and Carmen who manages the front desk.  By trade I’m an executive assistant and Carmen “rules” with exceptional customer service.  There is also a new person at the front desk, and although I didn’t get her name today (5/19/09), like Carmen she was also at the top of her game when it came to customer service and was very welcoming.  I love the fact the office is “paperless” as well.  This is the first office that really is pain-free.  For example, I had a root canal today and didn’t even know Dr. Serdar was administering the novocane because the area was pre-numbed.  He also guides you through what he is doing each step of the way.  Even if he’s done the procedure 1,000 times it felt like he was “there” for me and so very kind and patient.  At the risk of gushing I’ll stop now but honestly folks Dr. Serdar is the best dentist I have ever been associated with and I’m 58 years young.

All I can say about this place is WOW. When i located this gem. I was in extreme pain. I had an infection in my mouth and my regular dentist would not return my many many phone calls. I finally could not take the pain anymore and  decided to look for another dentist.  By luck I found Dr wonderful Serdar. I call them and explained that I was in a lot of pain and the Angel on the other line (Carmen) said “come in right away, we do not want you in pain). I ran over and was greeted by the most nicest person, Carmen. Everything went smoothly, Carmen registered me quickly, I was whisked into the exam room where they took care of the pain, took x rays, explained in great detail the problem and was told that I would have to be referred over to Dr Weisen (another Gem) that specializes in bone deterioration. This place is a God send and anyone would be a fool not to go there. Sadly my insurance has changed and I will no longer be able to go there, but I hope in the future I will.
