Dr. Jacobs is a wonderful dentist who truly cares about his patients! I’ve been going to him since I was in college every 6 months for checkups and cleanings. Recently he did a veneer for me. The shape of the tooth is so natural, it’s indistinguishable from my natural teeth. At first I was happy with the color, but after a few weeks it became apparent that my teeth were a bit more opaque than the shade used in the veneer. Dr Jacobs has started the process of redoing the entire veneer to ensure my satisfaction. He is truly customer service oriented and I am a happy client who will continue recommending him for many years to come. I’d also like to add that my hygienist is wonderful and all of the dental assistants who’ve helped with the veneer process are also great.

I’m a wimp and I hate doctors but I love Dr. Jacobs and he never has done anything to hurt me. He has been my dentist since I was 8 years old and I am now in my 30’s. I am currently shopping for dental insurance and went on Yelp to see what people were saying about some of the in-network dentists and I realized how spoiled I am for having Dr. Jacobs almost my entire life. Not only is he exceptional, every single hygienist that has cleaned my teeth there is wonderful. I decided I don’t want any insurance that doesn’t cover Dr. Jacobs. DR. JACOBS 4 EVA.

I saw Dr. Jacobs from the first Yelp review… I had no idea where to look to find a decent dentist, and this one had a good review and was in my neighborhood. So great! I just went yesterday. He’s really friendly and caring and attentive. He explains everything as he goes along. All the staff is sweet as pie, and, because I’m shallow, I have to tell you that the waiting room magazine selection is vast and very current. The only problem is… they run on time, so you hardly have time to read them!

I’ve been going to Dr, Jacobs forever — I was there today. His staff is so professional. He’s exceedingly pleasant and competent. Not only has he done my general dental work, but he did a beautiful set of top veneers for me more than a decade ago that are as flawless as the day he put them in. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Jacobs for decades. He has done excellent work on my teeth, and he has been a caring individual about my overall well-being as well. I’ve found his hygienists to be excellent – I’ve used 3 different ones over time. Yes, in the past there were some problems with front office attitudes. But this has not been the case for the last several years. I find every lady there to be welcoming and cheerful. I recommend this office and this dentist unreservedly.

Dr. Jacobs is by far the BEST dentist I have ever had and I have seen at least 15 dentists in my day. I have a lot of dental problems, and one by one he is addressing them. His chair side manner is calming and he takes the time to explain everything before he begins. He is gentle, kind and truly cares how his patients are feeling. His staff and hygienists are ALL top notch as well. You won’t find a better dentist in this city!

I found Dr. Jacobs on Yelp actually after looking for people blue cross ppo dentals plans had on their list, and I can’t say enough what a fabulous dentist he is. He is so professional, explains things really well, and has a great personality. I haven’t had any trouble with his staff and have actually had to cancel last minute due to illness, and they were really cool about it. I agree with another yelper….it’s amazing that you almost never have to wait more than a few minutes. On time, what a novel idea. =)

Dr. Jacobs is the BEST dentist. When you’re a new patient, he’ll schedule an initial exam to actually LISTEN to your concerns and questions. He’s not rushing off to see his next patient. He’ll take x-rays and do an oral exam to check thoroughly for cavities, gingivitis, or any problems you might have from previous dentists. If you only need a cleaning, his hygienists do a great job and Dr. Jacobs will come in and check in with you to see if you have any concerns. If you need more work, Dr. Jacobs and his nurses will take great care of you and he’ll be just as patient as the first time he saw you. His office, from receptionists to nurses, are all very professional and nice to deal with. I switched from my last dentist because he was always rushing off, hardly listened to me, and his nurses and receptionists were rude and a pain to deal with. I’m so glad I found Dr. Jacobs. Only con is the parking which is $1.50 for 20 minutes in the garage. Meter parking only allows an hour so it’s not quite enough if you’re going in for serious work. But heck a great dentist is worth the trouble.

I love my dentist in Florida, but I have to say-Dr. Jacobs is THE BOMB! I went into his office expecting to get a crown and instead removed an old filling and replaced it. The majority of other dentists would have gone in for the kill and moved forward with the crown regardless. Furthermore, my bite has been off for years…he fixed it with some minor magic… Not only did Dr. Jacobs spend more time than ALL of my doctors collectively over the years, but his chair side manner should get an award. As far as the front office staff…I do not at all agree with anyone on yelp that stated anything negative. They were AMAZING! They spent a very long time dealing with my health insurance, extremely friendly, patient and accommodating. Dr. Jacobs assistant.. .again…fabulous… Tomorrow I get to go for a cleaning…YAY! ANY of you that dread going to the dentist…get pumped, Dr. Jacobs and everyone in his office are ROCKSTARS!

A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Born and raised in the Beverlywood and San Fernando Valley areas of Los Angeles, Dr. Jacobs received his B.S. degree from UCLA majoring in Psycho-Biology. While at UCLA he was also a member of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. Upon graduation from UCLA, he attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry earning his DDS degree. Dr. Jacobs also received his General Practice Residency Certificate in hospital dentistry from the Veterans Administration Hospital, Sepulveda California. Dr. Jacobs has been very involved in the dental community having served as President of the Los Angeles Dental Society which is the local component of the American Dental Association and California Dental Association. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and International Team of Oral Implantology. He is also a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the American College of Dentists. My practice philosophy is very simple. I strive to provide high quality treatment in a caring and compassionate manner. I strongly believe that it is my responsibility to advise my patients of their treatment options so that I can help them choose the most appropriate course of action for themselves. Whether a complex or simple case, each person deserves and receives individualized attention. I pride myself in the long lasting results and personal relationships that I have been able to build over the years. Dr. Jacobs is a dedicated runner and hiker having even summited Mt. Whitney. He is an avid automobile enthusiast but, most importantly enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
