After 40 yrs. Of NOT receiving any Dental care I was a bit nervous. But the staff was friendly and MADE ME FEEL at ease upon walking in. Dr. Angelos is professional and he made me FEEL very comfortable. Denise his Asst. Made me feel relaxed and the way she worked with the Dentist reassured me I WAS IN THE right place. Dr. Angelos WORK was pain free. Jean THE Hygentist CLEANED my teeth with such expertise and detailed it WAS also painless. France’s FINISHED the final cleaning and she TOO WAS very THROUGH AND painless as well.Looks like I found ME A GREAT DENTIST for life!!

I can NOT speak more highly of Dr. Angelos, he cares SO MUCH about my tooth pain after a filling he called my HOUSE from his PRIVATE NUMBER AFTER HOURS to check my status! I actually thought it was a joke, I’d never had a doctor care so much to take the time to call me on their own watch! THANK YOU! PLEASE don’t allow a lack of insurance, or funds to scare you, he is also extremely philanthropic and willing to work with any/all budgets.

My whole family and I have been going to Dr. Angelos for as long as I can remember. I first went as a little kid and grew up coming to Dr. Angelos. My father was the first to go and has been sending all his 11 kids there since. He and the whole staff are the most professional, knowledgable, honest, and kind hearted people you’ll ever find in a medical practice. Every time I’ve been there to get a cleaning or any work done they talk to me about how much I’ve grown, how all my different siblings are, and how my Dad is. They remember all the little things about our lives and treat us as friends as well as patients. It’s an amazing feeling to know that your dentist genuinely cares about you, especially with so many doctors out there who hardly seem to treat their patients as people. Dr. Angelos and all his staff are the kind of people that make visiting a dentist something enjoyable. I’m even encouraging my girlfriend, who lives in Fullerton, to drive all the way down here and to visit Dr. Angelos. Overall this practice is the closest thing you will find to perfect dentist. Would recommend to anybody who is looking for a lifelong, reliable dentist. Thank you Dr. Angelos and all of the staff who make this dentists office a wonderful place!

I‘ve been a patient of Dr. Angelos for 29 years. Way back in 1987 I came in with a broken molar. Before that I had gone to a dentist that wouldn’t work on my tooth because I had no insurance. I walked into Dr. Angelos’ office and he asked no questions. He just worked on my tooth and fixed it and worried about the finances later. Not only is he a highly skilled dentist, but he also is the kindest man you could ever meet. His entire staff, Leila, Mandy, and Debbie are also extremely friendly and professional. The entire establishment is 1 class act !!

I was a patient years ago, and left only because my company acquired dental insurance and he was not on the “approved” list. What a mistake I made. I went through two dental factories, where people tried to up-sell me to additional treatment. I returned to Dr. Angelos knowing that my insurance would not pay much of it. Best decision I ever made. He cares. He is conservative. I just had a partial crown, my first, and was terrified. He and his staff were so caring and wonderful, it wasn’t bad at all. And the day the temporary crown was put in, that night he called me in the evening to make sure I was OK. He is a great example to the profession, and I am glad to be one of his patients.

Best. Dentist. Ever! My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Angelos for over 30 years. He is truly caring and provides the best treatment to his patients. Last year, I had to get veneers on my front teeth, and Dr. Angelos called me at home that night to check up on me. Because of his caring treatment and “bedside manner,” I have been coming here for all my dental needs, even when I didn’t have insurance, or limited coverage–he is worth spending the extra $$–after all, you only get one set of (adult) teeth! His staff is wonderful also, from the hygienists, to assistants and front office people. I would recommend Dr. Angelos to anyone and everyone I know.

One of the many things I love about this dentist is how they all communicate with each other. I never have to explain my story twice. When I walk in, they know my name. Dr Angelo’s is very caring, honest and kind. My young children even love him. I’m so excited I found this dentist and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. If you are afraid of seeing a dentist, you should see this one, he will change your outlook. The staff is amazing!

Highly skilled and very friendly staff. They never complained when I had to reschedule due to my insanely busy schedule. My healthcare plan didn’t include Dr. Angelos for one reason or another but it was more than worth the extra expense to see him. I have been to dentists around the country and he is one of absolute best available. I believe this entire office operates under the simple philosophy of making their patients feel comfortable and providing the best care they can. If you aren’t smiling when you enter his office – you will be when you leave.

I used to hate going to the dentist but that has now changed. Since I started going to Dr Angelos 3 years ago I now not only don’t mind going to the dentist but almost look forward to it. Dr Angelos has a great chair side manner. He is professional, thorough, kind, and easy to talk to. On the cleaning side his hygienist, particularly, Frances, has the most gentle touch. This is the first dentist I have gone to where I have no pain during the cleaning. I highly recommend Dr. Angelos and his staff.

For the past 5 years, I had been hoping to find a great dentist, and most importantly, who is honest. After expressing this to one of my colleagues (who has been going to Dr. Angelos for years), she referred me to Dr. James Angelos, DDS. I found out she had also referred two other colleagues before me who also expressed to me how pleased they were with Dr. Angelos and his team’s services. Anyhow, I have been to Dr. Angelos’s office 3 times in the past month for a cleaning and a tooth filling. I must say I absolutely LOVE this dental office! The moment you walk in, there is a warm, homie feeling about it. You instantly get the feeling of visiting a family member’s house or something. Leila and Mandy (who work the front desk), know exactly who you are as you walk in the door, greet you with a warm smile, and will address you by name as if they’ve known you for a long time. The Hygienist Frances, the assistant Lily, and Dr. Angelos himself are WONDERFUL. They are all so attentive and it is evident each and every person who works there loves what they do. I am beyond satisfied and highly recommend this office to anyone in need of experiencing phenomenal dental service from begining to end!

I’ve been having a problem with my wisdom tooth for a few weeks now and finally decided I needed to go to the dentist. I had also become very concerned about gum infection, so I called as soon as they opened to see if I could get same day appointment. The gal that answered was very polite and friendly and was able to get me in right away. Fortunately, my concerns with the gums was way overblown (it’s actually just bone growth and nothing to do with infection) but my wisdom teeth do still need to come out. They were able to not only refer me to an oral surgeon, but also setup the consultation appointment and surgery appointment. The whole staff is a great group of people who are professional and friendly. I was also impressed with Dr. Angelos. He addressed my concerns, was easy to talk to, and really seemed to know his stuff. Once I get the wisdom teeth out, I’ll definitely be coming back here to get my teeth cleaned and for any future dental work. Also, the big window in the exam room was a really nice bonus – just made the whole experience even better.
A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Dr. Angelos graduated from CSULA and went on to receive his dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. As well as being a life member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association, he has also been on the San Gabriel Valley Peer Review Committee for 28 years and a member of the American College of Dentistry for 25 years. He has served as President and Program Chairman of both the Pasadena and Wilshire Academy. To stay current in dentistry, Dr. Angelos attends Continuing Education courses and earns over 100 education credits annually. Dr. Angelos remains active in his community as a member of St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church and the San Marino City Club.
