Super Dentist with Magic Hands. I am the biggest wimp when it comes to my mouth. I recently had a root canal that needed a crown and another crown that broke needed to be replaced. Dr. Ku did all of that and I didn’t feel one iota of pain from beginning to end. He is also super fast, so you’re not sitting in the chair for very long. Also, he was a professor at the UCLA Dental School and he taught, among other things, Reconstruction Surgery!! If you are looking for the consummate professional dentist who will treat you like royalty, this is the man for you. Also, his admin staff is incredible and his Oral Hygienist is the best I’ve ever had work on me. I love these folks and you will too.

If Dr Ku recommends a procedure he provides the risk of waiting or not doing in a very common sense way. He understands sometimes you can’t afford the procedure or can’t afford to not do the procedure. I always feel like im getting the straight answer, no bull.

Dr. Ku is my dentist with the best service in town. His staff is excellent and very skilled. Dr. Ku has done several root canals for me and crowns, absolutely the best. His hygienist, Michelle, is the best there is and has been taking care of my smile for years. Just the Best!!! I do not usually write recommendations. In this case I have to share an amazing Dentist I found in Albuquerque. Charismatic Dr. Ku maintains the cleanest, pain free, most hi tech dental practice I have ever experienced. For the first time I had my teeth cleaned with “0” discomfort. I never experienced pain when Dr Ku performed complex dental procedures. Dr. Ku, a highly accomplished professional, is adept at all dental procedures to include root canals, bone grafts and other oral surgeries. His staff is well trained, personable and you feel Dr. Ku and his staff actually care about your long-term welfare. His equipment is beyond state of the art resulting in an expedient and comprehensive diagnosis. The beautiful office is spotless. With Dr. Ku as my dentist, I know I am in good hands and will be healthier in the future.

Dr Ku just did the most marvelous work of making our 14 yr old’s smile as good as new. Our son lost half of one of his front teeth in a fall on a school bus his first day of 3rd grade at his new school. Although our family dentist had bonded stuff to his remaining half of a tooth, it never looked natural. Dr Ku re-worked it and also filled 2 cavities with no pain to our son and we are thrilled with our son’s new look. Both Dr Ku and his assistant, Theresa, are stars on our book.

I’ll start by saying I dread going to the dentist because of my overly active gag reflex. Dr. Ku and his staff are VERY accommodating and patiently and comfortably get the job done. Dr. Ku and his receptionist, Jenny are wonderful people. They’re the friendliest bunch and they take real good care of their patients. During any dental work, they continuously check to make sure you’re doing okay, or that nothing is hurting. They’re total professionals, and Dr Ku even teaches at USC on certain days. I normally dread going to the dentist, but they make it a pleasant experience for sure. The only downside to this place I noticed is that they’re only open 4 days during the week. Currently it’s Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. He teaches on Thursdays. So depending on the semester, his office hours might be different.

I had the good fortune to meet Dr Ku 2 years ago when he arrived in Albq from Calif to take over the practice of my wife’s dentist, Gary Schroeder, DDS who was retiring. Came here for an emergency for my husband, everyone was nice and professional, respectful and took my husband in as fast as possible. We filled out some of the necessary documents and within 5 minutes he was in getting X-ray’s and getting his tooth extracted. Within 45 minutes we were out. Fast and efficient and not expensive. Let me start by saying I was a dental assistant for 13 years so know a little bit about dentists. Dr. Ku is not only extremely competent but caring compassionate and kind. A plus is his great sense of humor. So glad I found him, after 2 dentists could not solve my discomfort, actually made it worse …………no caring……not listen……..rushed in and out of the room……………..I was really miserable …………. Dr. Ku addressed the problem on the first visit………….took his time I needed to see him a few more times, I am now comfortable for the first time in over 2 years……………..he had actually listened to me. He has given me fillings, crowns, and recently an unplanned root canal. I dreaded them all. But my experience has always been positive! Dr. Ku takes the time to inform me about the procedure, what to expect, and answer ALL of my questions. He is the right mix of professional and personable that I value in a doctor. Best dentist you’ll ever see, and the best office staff you’ll ever deal with. No, seriously. I went years without seeing a dentist because a previous one cut my mouth up on accident and blamed it on me. It was a little traumatizing. After much goading by loved ones, I decided to take up an appointment with Doctor Ku. Doctor Ku has totally made dentists trips stress-free for me. Everything he’s done with me has been done with patience, a willingness to explain, and complete courtesy. The dude really, REALLY knows his stuff, too. If you’re looking for a good dentist, you’ve found him. And if you’re worried about going to see a dentist since you haven’t seen one in ages, this is the guy you should see. After seeing many different dentists, I feel I am in good hands with Dr. Ku. He is the MASTER of extractions. Dr. Ku has removed two of my molars and I felt no pain. I have been seeing Dr Ku the last few years since he opened his office on Montgomery. It has been typical teeth cleanings for me until I chipped a front tooth last week. The staff got me scheduled for today. Dr Ku is no doubt a master of his craft! The results from my procedure to fix my chipped tooth were way better than anything I expected. The level of professionalism and technology throughout his office is impressive. I have never reviewed a dentist but Dr Ku is the exception and I will never consider using another dentist.
