It’s been about one year since I had my braces placed at Dr. May’s amazing new office in the Heights. Dr. May and his staff have gone above and beyond to accommodate financial challenges, time constraints, and scheduling issues. I’ve known for years my case would be difficult and include major jaw surgery. As such, I researched and chose only the BEST Orthodontist, General Dentist and Oral Surgeon in our enormous city! Shout out to Dr. Mary Frances Riley and Dr. Terry Taylor–I could brag about these folks all day!!

I was very impressed by Dr. May’s views on orthodontics. Before visiting Dr. May I took my son for 3 other consults for braces. None compare with the service, knowledge, and price I received with Dr. May. I highly recommend him and his staff!

I could not be more please with my experience at Dr. May’s office. From walking in the door to walking out, you are treated with five star service. Dr. May used his expertise to take on the task of realigning my teeth with an alternate and modern method. His office is staffed with the most curious, polite, and knowledgable group of professionals in town. I highly recommend a consultation with Dr. May. It was the best decision I’ve ever made.

Dr. May loves what he does and does what he loves–and it shows in how he treats his patients as well as his staff. He’s funny, irreverent, serious and focused all at the same time. He’s got a great staff who are very professional and highly competent. Also, I appreciate the fact that he stays on the cutting edge of orthodontic treatment. I came back after I saw him about 20 years ago–I still remembered him–and it was so cool to see that he is as passionate and engaged as he was then. On a side note, I recently consulted with a TMJ physical therapist who has been in practice for over 40 years. She told me that Dr. May was the best orthodontist in the city.

If you are looking for an orthodontist – for your child or as an adult (like me!) – I highly recommend Dr. May.   He is very skilled and has a calm demeanor that puts everyone at ease.   The office environment is very welcoming and the team clearly enjoys working there.    I could not be happier with how he has helped me correct my ‘smile’ with the Invisiline system.

Great experience as soon as we walked in the door! We immediately felt at home with the “hint” of dog-lover in the lobby! Staff was super friendly as if we were regular clients. Office was beautiful and clean. But what I loved most was the personable attitude of all the staff and especially Dr. May who clearly has a passion for what he does even after many years in the business. He’s super good with kids and makes sure they are comfortable and respected. He gave us lots of details about how Invisalign First works and made us feel welcome and comfortable. His puppy, Maggie May, is a great addition to the office- especially for kids! We look for forward to going back for our next visit!!

We have 2 teenagers with complicated teeth straightening, one has a crossbite & underbite, the other a very narrow pallet & a tooth almost in the pallet, we thought they would be in cumbersome traditional braces for years but Dr May says it can all be done in half the time with invisalign. Our dentist recommended Dr May as he could not help us & so far we are very happy with the information given to us, the practice professionalism & upbeat welcome. Dr May charges the same for Invisalign as traditional braces, he has worked with Invisalign for 20 years & says very little can be done without using Invisalign. We are at the beginning of our journey & we will update our feedback when we’re done. In the meantime, we feel confident that our children are in the best hands & will come out smiling their best smiles ever.

Wow what a kind and professional staff I experienced on my first visit to Dr. May! I was seen promptly, and Dr. May was a delightful gentleman who beings his dog to work with him! His equipment is state of the art for sure, so no yucky puddy like impressions either! I so enjoyed the entire visit. Looking forward to my first invisaligns.

Dr. May was quick to respond. His practice accepted me “AS A WALK-IN” I always make reservations regarding doctor appointments but, today was an exception. His staff are young, personable and professional! My second visit was just as good — if not better. Everybody was organized, kind and totally experienced. I love my results and my experience so far. Dr. May is súper friendly and his staff is really nice and helpful. I am coming from another state to visit for my Invisalign treatment each time and they are really nice and accommodating. As for my treatment results, in only 3 months I have seen such a difference! I could have never imagined I would see results so quick and I am happy I decided to go with Dr. May. I was recommended by a friend who had great results and I would recommend him as well.

This is my 1st time leaving a review but I wanted to recognize the great service I received here! My permanent retainer on my bottom teeth had partially fallen off around 5:15pm. I was panicking because I thought I was going to have to wait until the day after to try & take care of it & endure it constantly stabbing my mouth. Long story short, I googled “orthodontist near me” & Dr. May’s practice came up. I quickly rushed over knowing they closed at 6:00pm & I didn’t want to be that person that shows up last minute & prevents them from going home on time. They brought me back quickly, willingly & took great care of me. Dr. May & his staff took their time and didn’t rush (although it was the end of their day). Come to find out, it was Dr. May’s birthday & he took the time to help me out despite the fact he was on his way out to his birthday dinner! I’ll definitely be back for more services!

This place is amazing. My wife went here to get a new retainer and recommended him to me. I am older and just got Invisalign. Dr May and his staff are extremely friendly. They worked/are working with me and my insurance company to minimize my out of pocket expenses. We will undoubtedly be taking our kids here, if needed

Dr. May is a family favorite! He takes GREAT care of my girls and all their orthodontic needs. My girls actually look forward to visiting their orthodontist, so that speaks volumes right there 🙂 I cannot recommend Dr. May and his amazing staff enough. We have fun at office visits but also get everything accomplished in a timely and efficient manner – we are extremely happy with Dr. May and his entire staff. They will take great care of you and your family – your stunning smile will thank you!

I thought adult orthodontia would be awful but Dr. May and his lovely office staff have made the experience seamless and rather enjoyable. They helped me with a super reasonable payment plan and even worked with me when I lost my job. They accommodate work and school schedules always with a smile on their faces and total professionalism. I consider Dr. May and the team to be my friends. I can assure you that you will not receive the same personal and authentic care at any other Ortho office in this big city!!

I was referred to this orthodontist from Katy walk in clinic. They could’ve have taken advantage of me. However, they highly recommended him to me. And I definitely see why now. I am so pleased with my orthodontist consultation. Dr. May not only explained to me what was going on with my teeth and jaws. He also demonstrated what occurred and how it can be fixed. He provided me with options and he just displayed his knowledge as a specialist. I appreciate him and I will be going back to begin my journey. I am confident I will receive my monies worth.:)

Dr. May and his team made me feel so welcomed. They are so nice and so friendly from the moment you walk in to the the moment you walk out. Dr. May is so funny and so full of energy. He made me feel so excited about my Invisalign treatment. I would definitely recommend Dr. May over any other.

I wore braces for 2 years and was not happy with my results. Before I had them removed I researched other orthodontists and found Dr. May and had a consultation. He said “I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I can correct your problem. The bad news is that you will be in braces for another 18 months.” I was so happy that he could “fix me” that I started my treatment that week. Dr. May is an amazing orthodontist with all the latest and greatest technology. After 15 years I had to see him for a new retainer. His new office is amazing and feels like you are at home. I also met the office mascot Halle. She made me smile and I watched patients enjoy having her around. We couldn’t be happier with Dr May and all of the staff. My son had braces from some place else for 2 ½ years. Out of frustration we went to see Dr May and he got my son’s braces off right away. The experience we’ve had with him has been night and day better than his previous orthodontist. Now my daughter is getting braces there as well. And the staff is amazing – always friendly, professional and everyone seems to love what they do and where they work, which makes a huge difference. We highly recommend.

I had one clinic and three periodontists try and sell me *4 on 1 implants* saying my teeth would fall out if I tried to move them with Invisalign. Dr. May is a nutty fun genius that really knows his craft, my front teeth had moved so much that they were pushed backward with the others twisted outward so much that I looked like Dracula. Working with Dr. Mary Riley with the deep cleaning and laser for periodontal disease it is like a miracle! I can’t recommend Dr. May and his Invisalign enough. He is a miracle worker, I would never go to anyone else. Many dentists say they can give them to you but it is his SPECIALTY and worth every dime. Also, there is not another dentist like Mary Riley and her hygienists are highly trained with the latest technology. NO SHOTS to deep clean your teeth, just a spray that wears off in 45 minutes, another miracle. I am so grateful I just can’t find the words to express it enough!

Great facility, great service and very friendly staff. On my first visit Dr. May removed a lower permanent retainer for me free of charge after I told him I joined the Peace Corps. I wasn’t fishing for free service, but he said he likes to give back to teachers/public servants/first responders/etc. I would recommend this place 100%

Dr May treated me and my son years ago with great results. Back now with my two daughters. Immediately I noticed that unlike other orthodontists I had explored, Dr May has a wealth of experience AND is clearly knowledgeable about the latest in treatment options and innovations. Also just a really nice person with a great staff!
