I had a lot of problems with my teeth, so I saw many dentists during my life time. My experience with Dr. Samuels and his team is wonderful – best ever! Dr. Samuels has a great medical knowledge but also offers warm and friendly care. Whole team made sure that I was comfortable whole time. I would highly recommended Dr. Samuels and his team.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Samuels for several years now. Thankfully, I’ve never had to be in his chair, only the hygienist. But, an old filling that he had shown me pictures of with his “intra-oral” camera had finally needed replacement. I’m a terrible patient, I gag and want to swallow a lot. He was very gracious and understanding. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Samuels must have told his assistant “thank you” 20-30 times, each time she did something, suction, rinsed etc. That shows me he is really considerate of his staff and that to me is a reflection of what kind of person he is. Lastly, he has all the latest technology, I was blown away. I asked questions about all of these things. They aren’t toys, they are for his patients benefit. He has a couple of air purifiers in the office, audio relaxation head phones, intra oral cameras to show you what he’s talking about in your mouth, digital xray for way less radiation, and the best one of all a machine called Cerec. Its a machine that takes a picture of the filling or crown in your mouth that needs replacement, then he designs it on the computer and mills it out of the material the lab would use. The best part is you don’t have to wait a few weeks for the final one, it’s all done in one appointment! No temporaries and extra visits and my personal favorite -no impressions!!!!. I was so impressed I had to write this review. The whole team he has working with him are great, I truly appreciate how friendly and accommodating they are. Dr Jay Samuels and staff strive for perfection and practice quality dentistry. His office is very up-to-date technically speaking and he combines that with is clinical expertise. In all the years I have been seeing him, there has never been a problem with periodontal issues, crowns and prophylaxis treatments I have had. The outcomes have all been positive.

I just finished my 6 Month Smiles treatment with Dr. Samuels, which means that I have been visiting their office quite often for the last 6 months. I would recommend the office to anyone in a heart beat. I had been unhappy with my crowded smile for years, and had saved and researched my options. I wasn’t going into this lightly, but I immediately felt as though this was the right treatment and right office for me. The office is extremely personable, well-run, clean, and professional. Dr. Samuels has an excellent chair-side manner, and is a perfectionist when it comes to teeth. Also, I never felt pushed into anything (for example, when I needed a filling replaced, it was suggested that I could just go to my normal dentist, where insurance would pick up the bulk of the tab–I had been planning on this, I really appreciated not feeling awkward.) I felt like a participant in the process and never was confused about the treatment. Most importantly, I’m very happy with results!

Dr Jay Samuel’s office is a gem!!! All of his personnel, starting with the front desk and then his hygienists and dental assistants are all customer-friendly and first class. With Dr Samuels, I always feel like I am getting the top of the line dental care and he includes me in the decision-making. This office has to be at the top of the list in Rockville and Bethesda

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Samuels for over 10 years. While no one should have to go through multiple implants, crowns, fillings, etc, I have been and survived all with Dr. Samuels skill and empathy. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr Jay Samuels. Every visit is a good experience, and I’ve been seeing him for over a decade. I take my kids there too. He is caring and patient. I never feel like I’m asking him too many questions because he takes his time to address all of my concerns and let me know what he’s doing every step of the way. One thing I noticed is how he treats his assistant with respect and gratitude. My last visit, I had a crown put on and the procedure was smooth and efficient. He has a modern machine that makes the crowns in his office, so they are molded and created while you wait in the chair. That was really convenient. His sense of humor helped ease my fears, too. I also really like all of his hygienists and the office staff. I feel like my visits usually start on time, too. That’s what prompted me to write this review. My last appointment was 11am and I was in the chair with my bib on by 11:02a – so I told myself I was going to come home and write this. Overall, I highly recommend Dr Samuels.

I have been a patient of Jay’s since 1995. I am a local dentist too. He has performed all of my dentistry since we had completed our training. He has tremendous skill. Trust me. Jay pushes himself harder than most dentists to stay ahead of the curve when providing his care. I know for a fact that he spends hundreds of ours a year studying and learning through continuing education. Although his skills are adept at taking care of dental emergencies, his philosophy is 100 percent committed to preventing avoidable tooth loss and all other types of oral health problems. If you want a doc that is progressive, caring, honest, and I could keep going, go see Jay! You won’t be disappointed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jay Samuels for many years and I can’t say enough about his calming professionalism, perfectionism and knowledge of dentistry and caring personality. The office staff is always very friendly and very helpful.  Everyone in the practice is excellent at what they do and I would highly recommend Dr. Samuels to all adults and their children!!! He really is the best and has earned my rave reviews in an age where very often the patient does not come first. A+.

Dr Samuels and particularly his assistant, Lynn, have been very caring and extremely competent in all the dental work i have done there over the years. This is especially true recently when i have had a tooth extraction, implant and numerous crowns. They are very attuned to pain control and informing the patient along the way for any procedure being done. Hats off to his front desk staff as they are accommodating and very pleasant.
