I have been to see Dr. Pomerantz a few times now, after switching to him from a previous dentist in NYC (I have had a number of very bad experiences with my previous dentists – and am quite a nervous-dental patient!).  I am a nighttime tooth-grinder, and get numerous cavities every year because of soft enamel, so needless to say I have been to quite a few dentists over the years.  So, I was thrilled when Dr. Pomerantz and his entire staff really put me at ease from the minute I walked in – the office staff were very friendly and helpful, my appointment was right on-time, and Dr. Pomerantz kind manner definitely made it much ‘less scary’ than going to the dentist usually is.  The office is nice and very clean.  They did fantastic dental work on me (I had a crown done), and I am very pleased with the results.  They even went above and beyond, and called to check on me at the end of the day to make sure that I was totally satisfied, and that the new dental work was feeling completely natural.  Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Dr. Pomerantz is an excellent Dentist. His expertise in Dentistry has been exceptional. I have had some serious issues with my teeth and he has saved them in every instance. He was available for me on an Emergency basis more than once and with kindeses, caring and patience. His bonding of my front tooth was so good and never lasted as long as it has from other dentists. The shape of the was so perfect it got me jobs through photographing my smile. He has never waivered in my time of need and most professional . I feel totally secure under his care and highly recommend Dr. Pomerantz. Suzan R

Dr. P is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. I had some weird symptoms that kept changing and Dr. P made it a point to have me update him along the way – he even called in a prescription for me over the weekend because I was in pain – when we finally pin-pointed that i needed a root canal he was the best! It was painless, quick, and easy – I was in pain the next day and he had me call to update him again, lastly – he checked up on me later in the week to see how I was – best dental experience ever – great doctor!

Not only Dr. Pomerantz exerts his technical expertise, he’s also a compassionate doctor. My wife had a severe tooth ache which required root canal. My insurance barely pays for the minimum cost of material. Dr. Pomerantz treated her immediately to ease her pain despite our financial circumstance. My wife and I couldnt thank him enough! Dr. Pomerantz is a rare find in NYC

After a general practice DDS mangled my bridgework, ruining several teeth in the process, I came to Dr. Pomerantz for help — I needed it! He performed restoration procedures so expertly and was so knowledgable about the entire discipline of prosthodontics, I can’t begin to say how grateful I am to him for giving me my smile back. His work is just impeccable/perfect in every respect, not to mention the end result – beautiful teeth! My advice to anyone who needs bridgework, crowns, implants, don’t entrust your teeth to a general practitioner DDS, they have limited training in this discipline, consult with Dr. Pomerantz, who is an expert in prosthodontics. He has advanced training and degree, years of experience, and teaches prosthodontics at Columbia. And I can certainly attest to his work — it is without equal! He also performs general dentistry as well. And, finally, he is also one of the nicest people I know and is extremely gentle.

Doctor Jefferey is very kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and ethical. It’s the little things. He’s very thorough. He’s prompt. He’s courteous. He’s polite. He’s great and so is everyone else at the office. I have been visiting him frequently for the past 6 months (cleaning, fillings, root canal etc) and I can say with confidence i am in great hands. He was kind and considerate enough to speak to me/guide me over the weekend for I was panicking about a sudden wisdom tooth infection. So long as I’m in NYC, I can’t imagine ever switching dentists. I am very pleased with my experience and this is my way of saying thank you. 🙂
