Dr Chen is the BEST dentist I know. A few years ago I needed dental inplants and he sent me to the best doctor.That did a great job. Dr. Chen cares about you and your teeth. I travel 67 miles each way to see him from Fillmore Ca, I used to live in Temple City and that’s how I got to know him.I would not go to another dentist! Period! He does both my wife and I’s teeth and always takes care of us both very well. Angel is wonderful and always helpful. She’s the best! I do not know his assistants name but she is great too! I highly highly recomened Dr Chen as your dentist and his staff is wonderful. Thank you to Dr. Chen and his staff. Remember their the best. This is the dentist if you need one. Best, Paul

Highly recommend Jeffrey Chen. He is professional and to the point. I greatly appreciate his approach. For those who say he’s quick, why would you want to spend any more time at a dentist’s office than necessary? He gets you in, does his job, let’s you know what’s wrong in a clear and concise manner, and gets you in your way. I’ve never felt pressured to get any more work done than necessary unlike at other dentist offices

Best.Dentist.Ever. I remember the days when it would take hours out of my day to get my teeth cleaned. I also remember how front desk ladies would make me feel like they’re up-selling me or being shady with my insurance. This is NEVER the case at Dr. Chen’s dental office. I went in to get one of my crowns replaced. My first visit took 30 minutes to get X-rays done and molding. My second visit involves putting on the new crown along with teeth cleaning. Total time? 20 minutes. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Chen for 3 years now and so far in my experience, I will never ever choose another dentist over him! He is not only efficient, but he is thorough. Dr. Chen has educated me the health of my gums and how to take care of my teeth. I’ve also never had to wait to be helped after making an appointment. I highly highly recommend giving Dr. Chen a try for your dental health.

Best dentist ever. I come here for my biannual teeth cleaning when I visit my parents in town. I find that his prices are reasonable and like that he does the cleaning himself. He does work a little fast but given that I don’t have many dental problems for now so perhaps it doesn’t bother me as much

Dr. Chen is great. He sees my whole family. You get in and out quickly, yet he’s thorough and takes the time to make sure you understand everything. He doesn’t push treatments you don’t need, but he’s quite competent at doing all that is needed. His use of X-rays and close-up photography gives a much more comprehensive picture of what’s really going on with my teeth. Nice guy. Strongly recommended

Finding a good dentist is like finding a good mechanic. You need to find someone who is honest, thorough, and knows exactly what they’re doing, so you don’t end up with bigger problems in the future. I have pretty sensitive teeth and dread going to the dentist. But Dr. Chen tries to ensure I experience minimal pain. He takes the time to show me areas that need better brushing and things that might become a problem if not monitored properly. I recommend him to all my friends. He rocks

My family and i have been going to dr Chen even before he opened his own practice.  He is knowledgeable and quick. He tells it how it is and doesn’t sugarcoat anything.  After all it is the health of our teeth so I wouldn’t expect anything less.  Making an appt is fairly easy, they are very accommodating

Receptionist was really nice and friendly.  I got seen right away and there was no wait.  Equipments are clean and new. It was my first time there and Dr, Chen really took his time to explain to me about my teeth and showed me how to floss correctly. Will definitely come back for my next check up.

I am doctor in my early 30’s who went for a routine visit to the dentist and found that I had a large asymptomatic abscess in my front upper tooth requiring me to get a root canal. I had a cavity filled years ago that apparently caused the nerve to die causing my abscess.  My dentist wanted to charge me over $3,500 for doing the root canal and also told me I would need a crown which will ruin my smile (given its location). Thankfully I did some research and found Dr. Jeffery Chen from Mid county endodontic group. Dr.Chen specializes in microscopic surgery with outstanding credentials  which you can find on the mid county endodontic website. After my evaluation with Dr. Chen, he stated he could   do the root canal microscopically through the back of the tooth thus not requiring a crown or changing my smile. Furthermore  it would cost a fraction of the previous amount stated by my dentist. During the procedure you can pick which music you would like to listen to and fall asleep given how painless it was. Also by choosing Mid county Endodonics you have access to better equipment used to clean your tooth during the root canal and also get a dentist who is experienced in root canals thus having a lower failure rate. Its been a month since my procedure and my smile looks the same and I am extremely happy about choosing Dr.Chen

Best dentist ever. Super fast and affordable! I have been to over ten dentists in my life and Dr chen is the best experience i have had at a dentist . And i hate going to the dentist and even have a fear of dental visits.

Thorough, knowledgable, professional, ON-TIME always (!), & doesn’t try to “add on” any procedure just to make money. Dr. Chen actually saves the patient both time and money while providing excellent dental service. His assistant and front office personnel are also very knowledgabe and professional. This dentistry is a dream come true. Jeffrey Chen is as straightforward as it gets and he’s skilled, honest, and quick. My previous dentistry is literally the polar opposite of this place and I’m not going to get into how peeved I am about that place. Let’s just say it’s full of lies, scams, deceit, and fake smiles. Edit: I lied, I did get into it. It never takes more than 15 minutes to get in and out of there, which is amazing to me. You ever play Pokèmon and go to Nurse Joy to have your Pokèmans healed? Of course you have. It’s like Jeffrey Chen is Nurse Joy and one short catchy tune later, your teeth are all clean. He’s extremely legit, charges your insurance, saves you money, and is pretty affordable in pricing. He’s not gonna play dumb games with you busting out shady copays that you never saw coming like my previous dentistry. He’s not gonna up sell you on dental procedures you don’t need. He’s gonna get straight to the point because we all understand the dentist is like about as fun as the DMV. Not even any small talk either, it might be the introvert in me but I love that. I love Trader Joe’s but I’m not the type of guy who looks forward to a forced conversation at check out especially when I know they’re told to make chit chat and it’s their job. So forced, no thanks. My previous dentistry always loved to pretend like they’re super cool with me and always have this giant smile on their face and I’m like wtf I don’t even know your name…all while trying to up sell me stuff using scare tactics and scam me by placing fraudulent charges to my insurance. If I sound bitter, I really really am about them. But this place is a godsend. No bullshit. It’s so straightforward that the outside sign just says “DENTIST.” Even the receptionist (Angel I believe her name is) is great and helpful. I’ve also never had to wait around for my dentist to be ready. I think that’s a result of their no tolerance on tardiness attitude. On my first appointment here, I was late like ~10 minutes because of road construction all along Las Tunas. Got calls over and over…got there and still didn’t hear the end of it about my tardiness haha. I like it this way, it keeps their operation’s schedule organized and efficient. So yah, being punctual is a must! There’s parking in the front on the street and the back of the place. After coming here, dental appointments are now like a quick ephemeral dream, soon to be forgotten

Pro and cons about this dentist. Pros: he is cheap and his office is neat. You don’t have to wait for the service. The reservation process is good so you don’t have to wait for a long time. Cons: the dentist is strict and not patient. I hope he has nicer personality

I’ve been coming to Dr. Chen’s office for all of my dental needs for a little over a year now. So far, I’ve gotten a few cleanings and a temporary crown. I’m going to get my permanent crown this Saturday! If you’ve been to enough health facilities, you should know that the wait is almost always excruciating. Not here! I’ve never had to wait for more than 5 mins for my appointments. I suggest that you get there a little early because I was late once and his assistant called me one minute after the appointment time. I don’t dare to be late again…I really appreciate his staff’s effort to keep everyone on schedule because that means I won’t have to wait for my appointment. Dr. Chen also does his part to be on schedule. He works fast but delicately and efficiently. He begins with giving you a concise overview of the purpose for the appointment and the condition of your teeth. Don’t hesitate to ask him questions. He will patiently answer any questions and address any concerns that you may have. Dr. Chen does the teeth cleaning himself. I’ve always dreaded teeth cleaning because the dental hygienists always dig whatever tools they use in my teeth mercilessly and I end up in pain. I feel little to no pain with Dr. Chen’s refined teeth cleaning technique. This past weekend, I went in for a crown fitting. The appointment was at 10:30 and I got there at 10:25. Dr. Chen was able to see me right away. I was out of the office by 10:50. His office assistants are friendly and helpful. The office is clean and neat, but it’s unlikely that you’ll have much time to examine his office anyway. There is plenty of parking in the back. I highly recommend Dr. Chen!

Dr Chen is by far the best dentist i have been to.  He is very professional and no nonsense.  He gets the job done quickly and efficiently.The only drawback is he is a Trojan (Bruin 4 life!)  but i will overlook that.

My family and I have been coming to him for around 3 years now and we love him! He’s not intimidating at all – he’s very honest, informative, and friendly. I had an appointment for semi annual check up / teeth cleaning at 11:30am and I arrived at 11:25ish.  Dr. Chen doesn’t waste any time; I only had to wait in the lobby for a couple mins before getting called in, and he started cleaning my teeth immediately. I was out of the dental office by 11:40. (Yay to no cavities! :D) I’m that girl who absolutely dreads going to the doctor and dentist because I’m just too scared to find out what’s wrong with me (or see blood or experience any discomfort). But Dr. Chen has made every single one of my visits pleasant and enjoyable. No wait, no pain, no discomfort, and doesn’t do unnecessary procedures. What else can you ask for when going to a dentist? He’s awesome!! Definitely recommend him if you’re in need of a new dentist. He’s the best dentist I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to quite a few!

Dr. Chen is a great dentist!  I have been coming to him for 4 years and he is efficient, informative and thorough.  I like that I get serviced at the appointment time.  He can be bit abrupt but I like that he gets right to business.  He makes going to the dentist painless.  It’s always a quick in and out process.  The office itself is simple and clean.  Thank you, Dr. Chen!

I had a great experience today having my first visit with Dr. Chen!! He showed me all my teeth with his high tech camera. He explained to me what’s considered bad. Seeing it from the camera makes it so much easier to understand and you won’t feel like the dentist is just BSing! Dr. Chen is by far the best dentist I’ve been to! He told me there are 2 teeth that I would need fillings for but in the end he said only one is urgent and tell me to wait on the other one and just improve my flossing skills. He is great! Hardly ever you can like a dentist, seriously! I highly recommend him!!

My last dentist was a horrible experience, but Dr. Chen has made going to the dentist less dread-worthy. Walk-ins are accepted, but I’ve always made an appointment. Some dentists make you wait even though you have an appointment, but there’s never a wait for Dr. Chen. He’s very efficient and my appointments are usually finished after half an hour. He’s very thoughtful if you have sensitive teeth, and gives good advice. He puts an emphasis on prevention rather than treatment after the fact. I went in for cavities, and he took several pictures and really went over the x-ray and explained everything. He made the local anesthesia shot an option but didn’t try to force it on me like another dentist did before
