My first visit to a dentist since moving to the US from the UK and it was a great experience. All lovely welcoming people, hugely professional and a dentist I will definitely be staying with. Customer care was amazing before, during and after the visit, and explanation of cost was made very clear.

I am so happy I found this dentist office! My first visit was in December and I had Dr. Dogra (Dr. Oliveira was on Maternity leave) it was really nice, the staff was very nice and they were really accommodating as I had my newborn with me. There is meters to park at on a little side street or there is a lot behind the building, but they do not validate, so I usually try and park at the meters. The office seems very clean, and it is pretty small, which is good because they are not over booking appointments so both times I was in and out in a reasonable time. My most recent visit I had was with Dr. Oliveira. I can’t say enough good things about her. She was very gentle, explained every step (which was really reassuring as the patient) and used the newest tools and tricks to make is as least painful as possible. I would highly recommend her!

I went to Dr. Oliveira’s dental office this afternoon for a teeth cleaning and check up. I will definitely be coming back. The entire experience was very pleasant. Plenty of street parking or parking in the back. The office is nice and clean. The X-ray technician, dentist and hygienist who all saw me were very nice, helpful and got me in & out as quickly as they could. I’m very happy I found a Westside dentist so I don’t have to schlep to Miracle Mile anymore.

The best dental experience I’ve ever had!!! Dr. Oliveira was knowledgeable, kind, gentle and entertaining! She answered all of my questions and gave me manageable tips! Her staff were friendly and her service was quick and enjoyable! Appreciate everything, see you next week!

Dr. Oliveira is kind, caring, gentle and knowledgable. She educates you on everything she is doing and is happy to answer any questions throughout the appointment. Dr. Oliveira also shows you how much your bill will be BEFORE she starts working on you – I have never met a doctor who does that; but it was greatly appreciated!

I’ve always been anti-dentist. Hated the noises, the pain, the discomfort, the environment — all of it. But I LOVED my visit to Dr. Oliveira’s office. Any nerves I had going in were immediately dispelled by the welcoming, friendly office staff. The woman at the front desk chatted with me, answered my (probably silly) questions, and made me feel right at home. The dental hygienist who did my x-rays and started my cleaning was also super friendly and gentle. X-rays are never a fun experience for me, but she made it as quick and painless as possible. I echo the sentiments of all the other positive reviews when I say that Dr. Oliveria put me at ease and made me feel comfortable as soon as she walked in the room. She talked me through each and every step of my exam and cleaning, which I loved. She explained what tools she was using and what I could expect to feel/hear with each one. She took photos of my teeth and pointed out things like plaque build up, stains, inflamed gums and cavities. It was simultaneously disgusting and fascinating. She took her time explaining the photos and answering any questions I had about my teeth. After she said I have cavities (my first – boo!), she pointed them out in the photos and walked me through next steps, fillings, etc. I don’t feel nervous for my follow-up appointments, because I know everyone at Dr. Oliveira’s office will take great care of me.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in years when I came here– and now I can finally say I’ve found an office that doesn’t make me want to put off my next appointment. At any medical office, there are 3 groups of people you have to interact with: the office staff, the doctor’s assistants, and the doctor. My experience has generally been that, if you’re lucky, maybe 2 of these will be friendly, competent, and professional. Rarely do you get the whole package. This office, however, is an exception. Every single person I interacted with had excellent social skills, good communication, bedside manner, and professionalism. Dr. Oliveira and her staff listened attentively to my concerns, and  took the time to educate me without being preachy and judgmental, made sure I understood what they were doing and exactly how much it would cost, and didn’t try to push unnecessary procedures. They were all genuinely warm and sensitive and made me feel like I was the only patient there.

After damaging two crowns in two years, I realized it was time for a new dentist. One that would build me a flawless crown that wouldn’t crack or sit incorrectly. I stumbled across Dr. Oliveira (formerly Akagi!) after reading the numerous 5-star yelp reviews and I am so glad that I did.Her office is warm and welcoming. Her staff is just amazing. The nicest ladies ever! So how about the services? Well, awesome of course! Dr. Oliveira did an extremely thorough examination of my mouth. She even took pictures of my teeth and rated the gum levels between each tooth. After finding my problem areas, she sat with me and went over exactly what procedures needed to be done.  

Dr. Oliveira was recommended by a friend who is also a dentist and I am so happy I went! The doctor and office personnel are so nice! The office is very nice as well and she has all state of the art equipment, Dr. Oliveira is very patient, thorough and explains everything! Whether you need extensive work, a filling or cosmetic work, I highly recommend Dr. Oliveira and her team!

The best dentist I’ve ever been to. I didn’t think that all of the 5-star reviews could be accurate but they are. Dr. Oliveira is friendly and kind, the office never feels overcrowded or too busy for you; it’s clean and comfortable and the whole staff is helpful and friendly. They talk you through the costs up front, answer questions without making you feel dumb for asking and help set up a dental plan for you. Dr. Oliveira is very sensitive to how her clients feel and is very gentle when cleaning teeth or taking care of other dental procedures like fillings and crowns. She always makes sure that you are comfortable before proceeding. I really appreciate this dental office and highly recommend them.
