I came across this dental practice because I had an emergency and needed to be seen ASAP. When I called to make an appointment the receptionist told me they were booked. Thankfully, they were able to squeeze me in! When I came in everyone was nice. No biggie. I gave them all my information including insurance and I was seated pretty quickly. Xrays were taken and I waited maybe 10 min or so? When I met Dr. Park she was very welcoming and understanding. I’ve honestly never met a dentist that takes their time and is very thorough! Other dentists treat you like you’re in some sort of assembly line! When she told me what I needed. She proceeded to show me what she saw on the X-rays and even took pictures in my mouth. That was a PLUS! Now, it all came down to my insurance. I was under the impression that everything was covered. Unfortunately, the procedure I needed was only 50% covered. The Elizabeth the receptionist was very kind and helpful. She was able to explain to me what was covered and what wasn’t. I know I’m suppose to know these things since I’m the one paying for it but this came as an eye-opener and now I feel like it’s my responsibility. Well, they were still able to help me out and get the treatment I needed. I’m definitely coming back to get my regular check ups done. Dr. Park is excellent and staff is wonderful.. OK

I am going to say it… I hate going to the dentist!! Who does right? Well, actually, I need to change the phrase to, “I used to hate going to the dentist!” Please, allow me to explain Why. Just like Lucy, who’ve left an excellent review of Dr Jen Park and the staff already, I also came to this dental practice due to an emergency. I won’t go into the details as it brings back a bad memory, but suffice to say, I was well taken care of and quite happy with the result. They were able to accommodate me on the next day, though I did have to be there for many, many hours due to my unscheduled treatment in-between other patients with advance appointment. All the staff members, including Lan, Elizabeth, and Anna, are super fun, friendly, caring, respectful, informative, and skillful. They all seem to be very happy to be working there taking care of patients, and this says quite a lot. Happy staff means better service to the patients and job well done. This is, of course, on top of fun, friendly, respectful, caring, informative & knowledable, super straight forward without gimmick, and extremely skillful Dr Jenn Park Cruz. Let me tell you.. She is ‘Gooood’. short and sweet. There is no up-sell push here from my experience, and Dr Jenn Park and staff only recommend the required, necessary treatment. Also, their scheduling, reminder, and follow up is quite efficient. You may get quite a few phone calls and text messages than expected or wanted, but I suppose it’s not a bad thing as taking care of health of your teeth and gums are extremely important. I may be pumping up this place too much you may say.. but I truly think they deserve it. Otherwise, I won’t be trusting Dr Park Cruz & Staff with my teeth and gums!! Any downside? The building the office is in has seen its better days. It’s getting worn down quite a bit and it’s clear the building management doesn’t care about the maintenance of the building in both appearance and amenities. Also, you do have to pay for the parking – No validation in the building parking structure. The office itself, especially reception/waiting area can also modernize and improve, but perhaps not doing so could keep the cost down to offer a high quality service without any gimmicks or up-sell at reasonable prices. So there you have it. My honest review of Dr Jenn Park Cruz DDS! Hope this helps in your search for your next dentist!

I totally agree with all the previous reviews but I’m writing not as a patient but as a former employee of Dr. Park’s. I’m a dentist myself in my own country(the Philippines) but I am not licensed to practice here in the US so I worked for her as a Dental Assistant instead. As someone in the same profession,I could say that Dr.Park is THE dentist who lives up to the prestige and responsibility of of being one.She has the knowledge, skills, technical know-how and expertise in what she does, and it’s a big bonus that she has the most pleasant personality- caring, compassionate, approachable…name it. She has a common touch,a trait not so common in this profession that’s why all her patients are put on ease right away, not only that, they’re getting the utmost in dental care too.I would know because I saw it  up close,on a daily basis. In the front office, back office and the treatment room,Dr.Park is doing what she is supposed to be doing, and doing it competently-from taking the patient history (very important), diagnosis (she does it accurately), treatment planning and the treatment itself , she’s very hands-on,very thorough and very honest. She has my repect in what and who she is and confidence in what she does.If you’re looking for a dentist that has your best interest in mind, that would be Dr. Park! (By the way,I was forced to quit my job due to pregnancy complications, otherwise I’d still be working for her up to now

If I had been a Neanderthal with life expectancy of 30yrs, I would’ve been fine without Dr. Park, since I made it so far. But I need my teeth a little longer than that, so thank God I met her!!! She’s the first dentist to actually tell me why I’m having the problems I’m having instead of just telling me I have to pay X dollars for whatever procedures. My roots are coming out causing intense sensitivity, and other dentists would tell me I have to pay to cover them. I asked them why is it happening, no answer. My teeth are chipped but nobody asked me why. My fangs are gone but I didn’t really stop to think about it… life has been extremely stressful. But apparently it was the stress that was making me grind my teeth so hard that’s causing all of these problems and she asked me all these questions and did diagnostics things, and EXPLAINED to me in a way that made sense. Finally, a great doctor! I got the exposed roots covered (she did a “pretty” job, hehe, matching the colors and all ), got fitted for a night guard, and now try to stop everytime I find myself grinding and clenching my teeth during the day. Once I became aware of the problem, it was shocking to notice how much I was doing that! Without Dr. Park, I think I would’ve lost half of my teeth at that rate! Thank you, Dr. Park!

I have always been nervous about going to the dentists and have pushed off my dental care for a while. Found Dr. Park’s office in Koreatown through some searching. Ana and Liz were wonderful and made me feel a lot less nervous about the whole experience even before I saw the dentist. Dr. Park explained everything clearly and outlined the options for me. She was very understanding of my situation as well. Stacy, the hygienist, was great also. Everyone was very caring and I am glad I found Dr. Park’s office

Growing up, I hated going to the dentist. The annoying sounds of the machines grinding against your teeth, the dryness when the dentist places the cottons swaps and soreness and aches are the worse. To tell you the truth, the last time I went to the dentist was when I had braces. I hated the dentist. That all changed when I first met and was introduced to Dr. Park by my work. Dr. Park and her staff/team have deliberately executed the business concept of having the best customer service and standing out above the rest/other dentist. When you first walk into Dr. Park’s office, it is very clean and feels like you are walking inside your own home. You honestly feel welcomed and does not feel like an ordinary boring dentist. You will obviously find the basics that include magazines, chairs, a clock, and the receptionist’s desk. When I first spoke to the receptionist, Ana, she had me fill out the new patient forms and went over my insurance thoroughly on what was covered and what was not. This was very helpful and understanding as I don’t work for the insurance, and showed me a breakdown of all the things/procedures that my insurance covers. Apparently, my insurance covers most so I don’t have pay anything out of pocket, except my yearly co-payment which is just $50. After filling out the forms, I was greeted by Elizabeth, whom took me to the X-ray room.  I was surprised at how fast and efficient she took the X-rays, since I honestly hate and want to vomit when my previous dentist placed the sharp plastic cards inside my mouth just to take the x-ray. Since Dr. Park has new equipment throughout the rooms, taking X-ray was not left out. Elizabeth placed a small device on the inside of my mouth and the X-ray machine took care of the rest. Literally, I was off to my own room within 5 minutes or less. Once in the room, Dr. Park arrive a minute later to overlook my X-rays on a TV that is probably bigger the one I have at home. This made my experience even better as I’ve never seen my own X-rays so refined on a big screen. She thoroughly and very detailed went over my X-rays and mentioned all the issues I had (cavities, wisdom teeth, etc.). I never expected her to explain as my previous dentist never did. I felt special and one of a kind. Right after giving me all my faults, she explained what she was going to do to start fixing all my issues. Dr. Park had her hygienist proceed with a deep cleaning on top and bottom. On the 2nd visit, it was the Scaling. On the 3rd visit, another cleaning. These 3 visits honestly have changed my oral health including bad breath, ugly nasty tar and all the ugly stains I had. I have my 4th visit coming up and honestly can’t wait to see Dr. Park and her team. The only worst part of this experience is that I should have known Dr. Park and her team when I was growing up. Things would have been a lot better

My partner had been having a severe toothache for quite some time, so when I finally convinced him he needed to go to the dentist, we were referred here by my brother. Since we don’t have dental insurance, I had a few questions regarding costs. The receptionist was so friendly, and patiently answered everything for me. She even helped with the scheduling since she said it might need additional time, so she recommended a later date just so he could get taken care of all at once. I wasn’t there for the actual exam, but my partner says it was A+. She let him know his options, and was down-to-earth about what needed to be done. Part of the reason we avoid the dentist is because they always try to sell you on needing thousands of dollars worth of stuff, but she’ll let you know the necessities. He came home a bit sore, but within a few days he was feeling so much better! She even personally called him to check up on him and see how he was healing. He has a follow-up appointment in a few weeks, and actually can’t wait to see her again to help take care of his teeth. I will be booking an appointment for myself pretty soon, and for the first time am actually looking forward to the dentist!

Recommended by a friend, Dr Park is a great dentist! I am not someone who gets excited about medical checkups in general and dentist visits are no different… but her staff was very gentle and friendly, and Dr Park is awesome. She takes time to talk to you about what’s going on and what needs to be done. She’s got a great team of assistants too. Everyone in the office is very accommodating, gentle, and easygoing. I got a cavity filled and a cleaning which took very little time, and was fitted for a sleep guard which has helped my dental issues immensely! Highly recommended. Easy to work with, ample parking spaces, easy to get to from the 101 or the Metro Red line

I had a really great experience with Dr. Park-Cruz. I called in for a walk-in appointment and the front desk staff was very helpful with finding a time that worked for me. My appointment was for some tooth trauma I’d recently experienced, and Dr Park-Cruz was very helpful. She explained everything thoroughly and made everything easy to understand. All her suggestions were well thought out. Sometimes it’s scary to go into these experiences where my knowledge of the subject is absolutely zero–I might get swindled or even just get bad advice–but Dr. Park-Cruz definitely knows what she’s doing and never made me feel pressured or upsold. I came in without insurance, but the visit price was very reasonable. Would come again for any of my dental needs. Highly recommend

I am so glad I found Dr. Park. She’s engaging, calming, and somehow cured my fear of the dentist after one visit. I’ve been there three times now, and for both procedures she was able to save my teeth (both were very close to needing a root canal). I can safely say I never felt a single twinge of pain throughout either procedure (if you close your eyes during the novocaine shot, you don’t even know it’s happening. seriously.) Also, she lets me participate! This may not sound ideal for most people, but despite my dental fears, I am super interested in the field of dentistry (hobby-level, not enough to quit my job and become a dentist.) I know that’s weird as hell, but please just bear with me. Because of this, Dr. Park lets me stop and take a look at each step in the procedure so I have a better understanding of the situation. Doctors and dentists with poker faces are seriously scary to me– I can never tell what they’re thinking or what’s going on. Dr. Park does not have a poker face. She tells it like it is and she does it in a way that doesn’t cause my body to seize in fear. She saw that I wanted to understand more, and patiently allowed me to be as involved (or uninvolved) as I wanted to be during every step of the dental work. I almost wanted to pretend I was at a fancy dental spa with a professional laboring over my teeth. Her attention to detail is that good! She also shared some dental hygiene recommendations that work best for me. I found out I was brushing *too much*, but not flossing or waterpiking quite often enough. Just having that information has gotten me into the habit of flossing the way she taught me (behind your rear molars? it can be done!) Also, my boyfriend keeps mentioning how nice my teeth look (even my molars, which I never considered other people can even see.) Both her assistants are excellent. I love talking to her staff and they were happy to answer my questions while we got everything ready. They were also super willing to work with me when I discovered I had reached my insurance maximum and had to pay out of pocket. Okay, I’m done gushing now. Go see Dr. Park and learn to love the dentist! (Or better tolerate it, at least

Dr. Park is aaaamazing! I haven’t been to the dentist in years. Knowing that I’ve neglected my poor teeth, I knew I was in for a rough ride. I was utterly fearful for the pain that I was about to endure. Then I met Dr. Park, she relaxed my nerves, explained what had to be done and the party started. While I was awaiting my torture, fear was pumping threw out my veins. “Here we go” I thought to myself, but it never came. Wait a minute, were was the pain? By the time I was anticipating my horrible demise the whole process was finished. Dr. Park is a miracle worker! Your teeth will thank you for it, so you can share an everlasting smile for the world to see

I’ve been seeing Dr. Park-Cruz for a few years now for the care and cleaning of my mandibles. I was happy to finally find her as I had spent quite a while trying and switching dentists. Dr. Park-Cruz is great as to all of the qualities that matter in a doctor.  First off, she has a pleasant demeanor; she is humorous and easy to talk to.  She is careful and evidences great attention to detail when she’s working with you. Also, unlike many other dentists I’ve encountered, who were clearly eager to push expensive services of dubious actual value, she’s never tried to sell me on any exotic services.  (She probably wouldn’t be a good car salesman, but she’s a great dentist.) Dr. Park-Cruz also has a well run office.  She has a friendly, competent staff, and I never have to wait too long. I work in downtown and her office is a short hop away.  I can easily fit in an appointment during a moderate length break

So I’ve been going to Dr. Park for about 6-7 months now for Invisalign treatment, and all the reviews here are accurate. She. Is. The. Best. She has a really great table side manner, her office is incredibly relaxing, and her staff is just as friendly. I went in initially to discuss orthodontic treatment, and we were trying to figure out what to do between traditional braces and dental implants vs. Invisalign, and the braces/implants were the more expensive option. My work was paying for everything, so price wasn’t a determining factor at all. Her exact words were “Most orthodontists would probably be wanting to go with traditional braces and the implants. If you were my kid, I wouldn’t do braces, I’d go with the Invisalign.” This is honestly the first time I’ve ever seen someone take that type of mentality to their patient’s treatment, and it really shows how she just cares about your outcome, not the office’s bottom line. Ever since I started treatment with her (still ongoing, so no before and after pictures just yet) I’ve been referring everyone I know to her office. A little bit of advice on her hours since Yelp is a little confusing. Her office is open every other Saturdays, and I think it’s just her staff their on Tuesdays. But I change my Invisalign trays every 2 weeks, so the office being open every other Saturday is amazing if you have awkward schedules. Plus it’s a crazy convenient location, right by the Purple/Red lines if you take transit

I was referred to Dr. Park through my parents, because they were one of her first patients when she was a USC Dental School student.  I started going to Dr. Park when she was practicing in Marina del Rey.  I can say without a doubt that Dr. Park is The Best.  I had so much dental work done by her from root canals, crowns, fillings, braces, retainers, teeth whitening and many cleanings. I had the worst experience with other dentists when it came to giving me a shot but Dr. Park is very skillful and calm, which puts your mind at ease.  Every time I get a cleaning my mouth feels like a million bucks.  I even feel bad when I eat something after the cleaning because of all the hard work she did cleaning my teeth. This new office in Koreatown is very clean and Bora (her receptionist) is very friendly and nice.  Dr. Park explains the procedure to you very well and she doesn’t try to charge you for the little extra things she does, unlike other dentists.  Dr. Park’s office is also up-to-date with new technology such as digital x-rays and new dental chairs

let me first start off by saying this is my first review ever. i decided on writing one for this office because i wholeheartedly believe in dr. jennifer park cruz and what she is able to do as a dentist. I needed some major work done (redo of some old crowns) and have been putting it off for years because i absolutely loathe going to get any work done on my teeth. when i couldn’t possibly put it off any longer, a friend told me about dr. park cruz. When i met dr. park cruz, i immediately felt at ease because she has the best personality. she took the time to explain everything to me…and trust me, i had a ton of questions. she just made me feel like i was her number one VIP patient and she was going to do the best job on my teeth. with all my fears of seeing a dentist, it felt good to know that she was 100% on my side and that SHE wouldn’t be happy with the results unless she knew that i was 100% happy with the way things turned out. Well, needless to say, i LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the results. i know for a fact that i couldn’t have gotten the results that i did if i had gone somewhere else (because i’ve actually had it done at other places with horrible results!). she was meticulous, thorough, and had my best interest in mind. I also know that my case was a really difficult case (since every dentist has said that to me when i have gone for cleanings), but i finally have that perfect smile that i have always dreamed of having because of dr. park cruz. if you are scared to get work done by a dentist, i understand- i put off getting work done for about 10 years.  if you dream of having that perfect smile, i understand- my horrible teeth really affected my self esteem. if you need to get work done, trust me…. just go to dr. park cruz and you will not be sorry. thanks, dr park cruz and office for everything

Dr Park is a class of her own when it comes to dentistry. She is 5 star on all counts. Very thorough, professional, honest and dedicated to serve your best interest. I met Dr Park early this year. I was browsing thru yelp because I needed a dentist to fix my dental problems. Thanks to yelpers I stumbled upon this office. The first time I met Dr Park I knew she’s a keeper. Dr Park is very smart, jolly, welcoming, very motivated, and very CARING. She’s been my dentist for almost a year now and I am  keeping her as my dentist even if it means traveling extra miles now because we moved to diff city. I am very satisfied with all the dental works she did. Thanks Dr for my natural-looking  dental crowns

After several years of being a patient I can honestly say that I now enjoy going to the dentist. I never thought I will meet such nice and caring people like Dr. Park and her team. From the moment you enter the office to the moment you leave you are always treated with the upmost care to ensure a great visit. Their care to ensure the job is done perfect is something that you cannot find with anyone else. Dr. Park takes it personally to create great bonds with her patients providing a home feeling along with her dedication to ensure everyone who enters her office will leave with the proper knowledge to have a great smile. Her skills when it comes to treatment it out of this world, she has demonstrated her abilities to provide a painfree environment when it comes to giving shots. Along with Dr. Park, her assistants also take it upon themselves to create a bond and provide you with the best service which is difficult to find anywhere else. Without hesitation I would recommend her to anyone who has been sacred by other dentist who have cause bad experiences. Her eagerness and willingness to help and comfort those who are sacred and turn them into a person who loves going to the dentist is what makes Dr. Park and her team the best to entrust your smile too

It’s been almost five years that I have been seeing Dr. Park. I have to admit that she is one of the funniest and most talented and passionate dentists you could ever have. As far as payments, I like how she gives you options of how you would like to pay for your dental procedures like cavities, crownes, implants, etc, by providing affordable plans of what is most convenient and affordable for you to pay. We live in a bizarre country where capitalism is hurting us and many people  just want to do things in a rush, not really having that motivation to talk and work with you, and your needs and only care about themselves and the money they’re earning each day they simply just steal money from your pocket. Dr. Park is by all means the contrary of that. She is willing to work with you and makes sure that you understand the procedure and billing options of whatever is best for you. I love it when she does the teeth cleaning, she does it so well, she’s pulled a wisdom tooth out, barely felt any pain the next day, she’s also done my cavity fillings and metal fillings, excellent job! Another note, Dr. Park listens to your dental or medical concerns of what you would like to address, and I think that Dr-Patient interaction is very essential in any medical or dental places. I feel more comfortable talking to her about my oral issues, than I do with my own MD. Her receptionists as well as her dental assistants are awesome and passionate about their work! Anywho, I could go on and on about Sociology here, but the point is that Dr. Park is excellent, so if you have not seen her, please go see her and not that weirdo place that’s a few blocks away from her on Shatto Pl, they will hurt your teeth!

I’ll come back and say it again… Dr. Park is the best dentist I’ve ever had. She’s such a personable and amazing individual who actually cares about her patients. I had a semi-emergency to get my lingual retainer repaired, and she was able to accommodate me. She answers all of my questions and is so patient with me. Her staff is amazing–Anna, Elizabeth, and Lynn are all so friendly and competent. I need more excuses to come see them, but alas, my teeth are too healthy for frequent visits. If you need a dentist in Ktown, Dr. Park is the one!

I’ve had German dentists, Jewish dentists, Korean dentists, Beverly Hills dentists, Seattle dentists, West LA dentists, Mid-City dentists, overpriced dentists, shitty dentists, asshole dentists, and dentists that I should have probably sued. So when it comes to teeth, I think I know what’s up, and let me tell you, Dr. Park is what’s up. She is, for the lack of a better word, the shit. THE OFFICE: No, there are no white leather couches and plasma screen tv’s blaring with tacky, self-aggrandizing promotional ads about the practice and how you should spend thousands of dollars on veneers, but didn’t your mom tell you not to judge a book by its cover? It’s not much to look at, but what matters is that the front desk staff are always, always friendly, super competent, and will never fail to give you a courtesy call before the day of your appointment. **They’ll also validate your parking for 1 hour. A BASIC CLEANING: This is the rare dental office where I’ve had my cleaning actually done by *GASP* the dentist. The hygienist does the flossing and polishing, but the actual scaling and plaque cleaning is done by Dr. Park. (I went to the typical ‘celebrity dentist’ Dr. Kelly Hong in Century City and had the entire cleaning done, from start to finish, by the hygienist. It cost double of what Dr. Park charged, and I think I spent more time staring at Dr. Hong in her pictures with washed up B-list celebrities than her in real life. Ridiculous.) I was also super impressed by the up-to-date equipment, especially because the x-rays that I got didn’t have those stupid plastic bite-wings that you have to painfully hold onto in weird positions. PATIENT CARE: I’ve never had numbing shots NOT feel like someone just stabbed me with a hot blade in the effing face. I just assumed this was something that comes with the usual stereotypes of pain in dentistry, and would just grimace my way through it. However, imagine my surprise when I didn’t feel a PINCH when she was giving me numbing injections for my fillings. I think she might have magical hands (there is a strong possibility that her alma mater is Hogwarts). She’s just so mindful of your discomfort and makes you feel completely at ease with the whole procedure, letting you know exactly what she’s doing and why she’s doing it, rather than just making a bunch of nerve-wrenching mechanical screeching noises in your mouth in complete silence like most (if not all) of the dentists I’ve been to do. She definitely goes the extra mile in making the whole experience go smoothly and without making you seize into a state of panic and fear, and I will forever sing her praises and thank my lucky stars for FINALLY finding an honest, genuine, and immaculately skilled dentist that takes pride in her work and not in her dolla dolla bill$. Dr. Park, my teeth are forever indebted to you

Dr park cruz is an amazing dentist and person. My first appointment with her was really for me to get a teeth cleaning and she spent at least 1.5-2 hours with me going over my X-rays, tooth brushing habits and what her Recs were to help preserve my teeth for the long run. Her dental assistants are very sweet too. My 2nd appointment was to ask her about my front teeth pain/throbbing I had. We went over everything and nothing appeared to be wrong. But she still suggested certain things which I agreed to do and within a day the pain started going away and by one week, it was all gone. I can’t believe it. I just really trust her and honestly I don’t trust most dentists! There is one who I had a pretty poor personal experience with and I’m pretty sure it will translate to his recommendations and diagnosis as well since he is a con. PM me and I can let you know who it is. The fact that he has a lot of 5 star reviews albeit a few 1 star ones, makes me shudder. Anyway, she is trustworthy and will go out of her way to help you because she actually cares. She and my uncle are the only dentists I trust besides my dental friends

Dr. Park-Cruz and her staff are beyond amazing. Everyone is extremely welcoming and have created an environment that is friendly and comfortable. I had to have a filling repaired and hate getting dental work done but Dr. Park-Cruz not only listened to and eased my fears but the entire procedure was completely painless (and quick). Finding a dentist in LA has not been easy and I had some prior experiences elsewhere that left a bad taste in my mouth but I am so thankful I have found Dr. Park-Cruz and staff!

I got my front toof chipped after just 1 game of basketball. Super exciting. Homeboy just had to hustle while I’m trying to just sweat a little. I could go on and on about the mouthguard I should have had, the rebound I wasn’t even trying to get, my perpetual habit of breathing through my mouth, but you’re not here for that. Dr. Jennifer Park-Cruz was recommended to me by a friend who described her as competent and awesome. I had low expectations because come on dentists are dentists. Dentists are like the broccoli of foods groups. There’s better broccoli sure, but broccoli is broccoli. It ain’t no burrito, but let me tell you. Dr. Park is a burrito! She’s awesome, kind, and chill. She isn’t like other doctors who may treat you like a patient or an experiment. She really empathized with my horrendous looking face and celebrated with me after a successful temporary crown and my new slightly less horrendous face! I’ve visited her a few times now for an x-ray, follow-up, root canal, and porcelain crown and each visit has been a pleasure. I look forward to her kindness, awesomeness, and her ability to relate with her patients as friends! So if you have yellow teef and are afraid to smile, or some unnecessarily aggressive guy elbows your toof don’t fret! Go visit Dr. Jennifer Park-Cruz and she’ll make you smile! 😀

I am so thankful to have found Dr. Park. Not only is she a very skilled dentist, but she also has the ability to make you feel comfortable sitting in what can be the dreaded dentist chair for many. I feel taken care of each time I visit. If pain is a big concern of yours, fret not! Having a couple impacted wisdom teeth removed was so quick and painless – Dr. Park was able to wedge them out in no time. I was worried about excessive bleeding as I’ve dealt with it in the past, but now I’m thinking my other dentist maybe wasn’t as gentle with the removal or as thorough on providing after-care instructions. If you do what she tells you to do, you should be just fine. Lastly, I tend to have a lot of questions about treatment processes and health in general (I’m guilty of being one of those people who does a lot of research on the web before visiting the doctor), but she will probably address your concerns before you have a chance to be concerned.. If you do have questions, she happily and thoroughly shares her knowledge, which is a huge comfort factor for someone who likes being in the know. Don’t be afraid and give Dr. Park and her sweet team a visit. You won’t regret it

So i just recently switched dentists since i needed a dentist that is closer to my house and luckily I found Dr. Park-Cruz.  She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and an amazing dentist.  Her receptionists are super nice and very accommodating with anyone’s schedule.  The first appointment that I had was a general cleaning and Dr. Park actually did most of the cleaning herself which i thought was odd since I’ve never had a dentist do that.  I really like that actually that she does all the cleaning herself to really get to know her patients.  She answered all my questions and let me know about problem areas of my teeth.  I gained so much knowledge leaving the dentist office that day.  This is weird to say but I actually now like going to the dentist just because of Dr. Park-Cruz and her wonderful staff.  I also needed to get some fillings done and they came out beautifully.  I would definitely recommend Dr. Park-Cruz to anyone that lives in LA.  She is friendly, knowledgeable and definitely takes her time with each patient explaining all your issues and answering all your questions

I had a terrible pain on my tooth, and my left cheek swelled up like a size of a softball. You see, I get terrified when it comes to visiting a dentist and I had some horrible experience from my past dental visits. Well, the pain was too much for me and it forced me to finally see a dentist. I found this place by accident, by flipping through my old Korean yellow pages… knowing that I would not visit my old dentist again, I had to find someone new. Well, I got there and everything was taken care of smoothly. I found out that I had a severe infection on my tooth all the way down to my gum. It was the same tooth that I had root canal done few years ago, and was told that I’ll need another one but it wasn’t a guarantee to completely save this tooth. I told myself ‘fuck it’ and we removed the tooth. I figured it was going to be cheaper to get an implant in the long-run. What impressed me was how Dr.Park made me calm throughout the whole process. After I told her that I have a ‘dental-phobia’, she was really gentle with me and made sure that I wasn’t feeling uncomfortable. I will definitely visit her regularly and I’m proud to say that I no longer have ‘dental phobia’ thanks to Dr.Park

I agree with Erica!  And I have to thank her so much for referring me.  I never thought I would ever look forward to a dentist after all the bad experiences I’ve had, but knowing that Dr. Park will do a great job on my teeth gets me excited. I probably have gone more times then the usual check ups and more work done this year than any other time  because after my first experience with her,  I wanted her to fix all the other previous unsatisfied dental work. She really does have a down to earth demeanor along with her kind staff and everyone seems to remember you there. She will never try to upsell you and always makes sure you are happy and confortable with the work done.  I think what makes her unique than other dentists is that she’s so REAL and she never gives you a sense of snobbery, Dr. Park is always open to any and all questions.  I always try to go on Saturdays though since it’s not as local for me to go on the weekdays during work hours, plus you get free parking in the structure on the weekends.  There’s also metered parking that doesn’t ever seem difficult to find and I don’t believe that even the structure charges much on the weekdays anyway.  I’ve also noticed I never have to wait to long to see her once I arrive, which is a big plus!  Just maybe once during a weekday when I was really pressed for time. The building is a bit older but I think they are working on remodeling.  At least I’ve noticed that the elevator interiors are being modeled nicely. I’ve requested to have her info updated on yelp, so hopefully it will come up shortly.  Just in case, the number is 213.385.0053

After an embarrassingly long time without having been to the dentist I decided to look for a nearby dentist and finally take care of my teeth and work on this smile. Thanks to yelp I came across Dr Park-Cruz’s office and with so many good reviews and how close it was to my place I decided to give it a shot. I’m glad I did and have been pleased with the level of service from both her and her technicians and staff. She’s very upfront and direct and it always feels like she’s on your side trying to make the best plan for your needs. I’m working on a plan to get Invisalign and due to some financial setbacks going to take a little longer than I wanted to get started. She was totally understanding and no pressure and I’m looking forward to getting started in a couple months. I’ve had deep cleaning, fillings, and extractions and no problems with any of the services performed. The doctor even checked up on me on a weekend night to make sure I was doing okay after two tough extractions. I’m so happy to be able to have such a good and reputable office this close to my house. It’s perfect for me and bonus that I get to support a neighborhood business run by an outstanding minority woman! I highly recommend anyone looking to give her office a call

I went to Jennifer YEARS ago, and I have no idea how I found her at the time. Since then, I had a little billing problem (my mother told me she would help pay for some dental work, and then changed her mind after it was done). In spite of that, Jennifer’s office was super respectful and kind. I continued to refer about seven of my friends to her because of her outstanding work and the good experiences I had there. Recently, I broke two teeth at work. Since my work agreed to pay for it, I asked Jennifer if she would be willing to do the work for me despite me still having an outstanding balance I was struggling to pay. She agreed, and the work I had done was efficient and high quality. I still need to get a second tooth taken care of, and this is where I’ll be going

Where do I begin. First off I would like to commend Dr Park for her practice from the receptionist to the dental assistant everyone was so nice which made me feel very comfortable. Now the star of the show Dr. Park a professional,  super warm and down to earth talked me through my procedure made all my nervousness disappear. She saved my tooth and did amazing work. It was such a chill atmosphere the whole in and out was great. I would recommend her to everyone !!!

Best dentist ever!!  I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new dentist and I visited Dr. Park and I have to say it was the best decision.  Finally no more dreading going to the dentist. This is the first dentist I have ever been to where you don’t even feel the prick of the shot.  For me, that’s the worst part and I don’t know how Dr. Park does it but every time I have not even felt her giving the shot. Also, once the numbing wore off I had zero pain or discomfort by that tooth. Dr. Park and her staff will make you feel at home.  Not only do they all explain every step that they do but they are such warm and wonderful people.  Even when I went yesterday Dr. Park took care of everything all at once (most dentists would have made me come back numerous times) including doing a cleaning – which as the other users say Dr. Park did herself which is a first for me too! Overall, I am truly so happy that I found Dr. Park and I recommend her highly

Dr. Park and her staff are AMAZING! I was referred by a friend as my husband had a slight fear of dentists. Friend kept saying….trust me ! Mind you my husband had an unfinished root canal and refused to go because of that fear. So I made an appt for him and he did great and raved of the service. Guess what I did, I switched dentist to come to Dr.Park. I too had a great experience. She is very thorough and you get the sense of that undivided attention because you do receive just that. I have now referred her to others as she is truly amazing. Dr Park and her staff make you feel like they’ve known you for such a long time and you are here within family. Now I say to you…Trust me !!! Ana, Sophie and Dr.Park ….. are a wonderful team!

If you are scared of pain this is the place to go I guarantee you that you will not feel no type of pain when you come with dr. Cruz.I recently discovered dr Cruz and I must say she is the best!!! Along with her super friendly staff. The reason why I started coming here is because I get out of work kind of late and was trying to make an appt everywhere but no one would take me in past 6 but when I called here they actually waited for me to get out of work to take me in that is awesome customer service !!! No one had ever done that for me but they were extremely nice to do this for me this one time. Also I am terrified of dentist from horrible past experiences and I just got my cavities done with her with no pain what so ever also just now I got my wisdom tooth pulled out and trust me guys I had no pain what so ever nothing at all!!! And it was a real fast procedure. She is amazing and extremely nice and explains everything to you with detail. I am amazed with her work and no longer scared of the dentist I seriously recommend her if your a wuss like me and are scared of pain trust me with her you won’t feel anything I guarantee it
