I know that most people don’t have positive things to say about going to a dentist office but not the Martinez’s family. Going to this office is like visiting old friends and feeling the kind of happiness one gets from good conversations and reciprocating smiles. I guess it also best to mention the professionalism of all the staff. I can’t tell you how much We appreciate a place that puts there cards on the table and not play guessing games.. I know it can be a little off putting when that kind of truthful approach is applied but honesty is the best policy and I am comforted knowing that’s what am getting. I also want to place a THANK YOU in this review to all that workers in the office least we forget that they are working in the frontlines and are one of the most exposed to the dangers of this pandemic . I am grateful that my appreciation for them being there for us is only matched by there appreciating us in kind. Thank you( x infinity) The Martinez’s family

I can’t recommend Dr. Jenn and her team enough. I’d put off orthodontics for years after multiple less-than-encouraging consultations with other orthodontists in the city. But from my first consultation appointment with Dr. Jenn and Stephanie, I knew I would be in good hands. The two of them spent a long time talking with me about the best treatment options for my unique case, and they worked hard to customize my care in a way that would work best for me. This was very refreshing compared to other orthodontists who had only offered me a “one size fits all” approach. Their empathy and care only increased during the COVID-19 pandemic, when they rescheduled appointments as needed, implemented virtual progress check-ins, and mailed my aligners to me when I was unable to see them in person. They’ve implemented a number of safety measures in their already clean and comfortable office, putting my mind at ease during my most recent in-person appointment. Dr. Jenn shows genuine care for her patients and their well-being, and she and her team have always been willing to work with me to ensure my unique needs have been met. Though I have more time left in treatment, I’m so far thrilled with my progress and look forward to the end result. If you’re looking for a caring, empathetic, and effective orthodontist and support staff look no further than Dr. Stachel’s office!

Dr Jen is really great. She is always professional and great patient care. There is little to no wait time. Once you have a scheduled appointment you check in and minutes later you are in the chair. Dr Jen is great and so is her staff. I highly recommend JSO.

I was looking for an orthodontist close to my work and picked one based on Google reviews. And I’m very glad it happened to be Jennifer Stachel Orthodontics. Dr. Jen and team are amazing – professional, courteous, efficient. I did two treatments (Invisalign and professional whitening) and I’m extremely happy with the results. Both treatments are lengthy and require commitment, and it’s important to have a proper support from your doctor along the way. So I was very confident and it helped me do my part properly. Appointments are always on time, the office is very nice, clean & modern. Also, they are quite forward in terms of technology (reminders, notifications, virtual appointments, electronic forms etc.) which is especially important nowadays. All in all, highly recommended, I would definitely come back.

Dr Jen and her staff are extremely competent, conscientious and efficient. I have been a patient since 2018, and I have to say my experience has always been A+++. This is my second experience with Invisalign and I have to say – the level of attention and customization that Dr. Jen provides IN ADDITION to the general program is unprecedented. She really does look at each individual patient separately and designs a custom program for each patient. This is important as I do not believe that most orthodontists do this as part of the program and the cost. This review will particularly focus on post-COVID – as I think it is important for people to recognize the level of care and attention that Dr. Jen and her staff have given to ensuring the safety of her patients. The entire office is always spotless and aesthetically pleasing, but more importantly there are high grade HEPA air purifiers, nice hand sanitizers, and clear instructions as to what to expect when one books an appointment. Her staff (special shout out to Stephanie, the total BOSS of an office manager!) is extremely careful and clear about needing to call once you arrive, filling out the COVID questionnaire, and the protocols they follow to keep everyone safe once you are in the office. This is a trying time for everyone, and I really want folks to know that they have done everything possible to ensure an orthodontic appointment is safe, effective, and reliable in these times. I trust Dr. Jen and her staff completely and I would recommend her/them to any one who is looking for an excellent orthodontist.

I’ve been remiss in not posting my (rave) review for Dr. Jenn here sooner. I have been a patient of hers for about a year. I’ve recently been able to resume my Invisalign treatment/office visits with her since the Corona Virus shutdown. Besides excellent orthodontic care, she has added many safety precautions to her office, and it is undeniable that outstanding patient care and safety is her and her staff’s #1 goal. I am almost 60 years old and have had a lot of issues with my teeth – mostly because of too many years with a dentist who did not care for them properly and, in addition to me having some severe gum recession, he also missed a clear case of periodontitis! Long story short, after switching dentists (way too late), clearing up the periodontitis and doing a set of veneers on my top teeth, I was finally pretty happy with my smile. But soon after moving from CA to NYC, I became increasingly focused on my bottom teeth. They were crooked, and my gum recession had resulted in unsightly gaps between my teeth at the gum line. As I have aged, the gaps have become more noticeable. I consulted with no less than 3 other NYC orthodontists who told me that they could not treat me with Invisalign (alone) and that I would not even be happy with the results. Enter Dr. Stachel…. First I met with Stephanie, Dr. Jenn’s wonderful office manager. Stephanie is incredibly warm, friendly, and so knowledgeable about the treatment. Then Dr. Jenn spent a good amount of time with me discussing a custom treatment plan. She presented me with a very different plan (from the other orthodontists) that she said WOULD make me happy. Dr. Jenn was realistic – she did not tell me it would be 100% perfect (due to the gum loss) but she said I would see a huge improvement, and also, that aligning my teeth properly would help to stop further gum erosion. I decided to go forward with the treatment. As a precaution, because I had had a case of periodontitis, Dr. Jenn first referred me to an excellent periodontist. She wanted to be 100% sure that all was well and that there was nothing she had missed. Periodontist concurred that I was in good shape and that, indeed, the Invisalign treatment would be helpful in preventing further gum issues. I started my Invisalign journey in the middle of 2019. Every office visit was a pleasure – the entire staff is warm and welcoming. Very patient and caring. Communication is always excellent, and any questions or scheduling requests are quickly responded to by Stephanie. I was REALLY happy with how my bottom teeth were looking! I was on the last phase of treatment, when the city shut down due to the Corona Virus Pandemic. The office was closed for a number of months, but the communication from Dr. Jenn and her staff was amazing. There were many emails from the office regarding remote patient care (if at all applicable), re-opening timeline, and all the safety measures they would be taking when the office could re-open. I was so impressed with the very detailed updates and (although obvious before the Pandemic) it is so clear to me how seriously Dr. Jenn, Stephanie, and the rest of the staff are committed to patient care and safety. Thankfully, the office has re-opened. The safety precautions they take are NUMEROUS (so appreciated!) and my treatment is back on track to finish in the next couple of months. I am LOVING my vastly improved smile, and I cannot thank Dr. Jenn and her staff enough. It is not easy to put your complete trust in someone, but as with most medical or dental procedures, you simply have to. I am SO glad I found Dr. Jenn. Her incredible expertise and attention to detail put her head and shoulders above others in her field. I highly recommend her office!

Dr. Stachel’s office is the best place to go for your orthodontic needs. The staff is very friendly and professional. To be honest, I’ve witnessed the utmost professionalism from them when they were being treated terribly by another patient while I was in the office. It’s actually what prompted me to want to speak about how great they are. I’ve been a patient for just about 18 months now. The staff has always made me feel welcome. I’m in my final stages of treatment and am thrilled!  Dr. Stachel and Stephanie are great at explaining all things you need to know. Overall, I’ve had a great experience there, where they put your needs as a priority.

Never having to wear braces in my youth, I was hesitant, as an older adult, in seeking a solution to the unattractive appearance of my front teeth. They had shifted and were no longer straight. After a thorough consultation with Dr. Stachel, I chose to go the “Invisalign” route. She assured me that my problem could be corrected. Though it took time and patience over a 2 year commitment, the reality came true. I can smile now with confidence. Dr. Stachel and her team provide the highest level of professional care. At every appointment, I received a warm and friendly greeting from all. Though I am at the end of my treatment and am happy about that, I will miss them all! Mary W.

I am so happy with the treatment that Dr. Jenn and staff has delivered to me and my two daughters.  My daughter was transferred to Jennifer Stachel Orthodontics when her first orthodontist retired.  She did such an amazing job that I started my second daughter.  I also suffered TMJ issues and she is very knowledgeable.  She recommended Trudenta therapy which is like physical therapy for the jaw. She also recommended that i continue to see my neurologist, TMJ specialist and and ENT for sleep apnea. We highly recommend her!  We love you Dr. Jenn!
