I’ve been seeing Dr.Ip and her partner Dr.Kristiani (spelling?) since 2008 and they are both amazing dentist. I went to a different dentist in Irvine for a year or so and he told me I needed like a million fillings and that I needed crowns on all my molars from grinding. I had a cavity that was bothering me and he would not do a filling on it for me, he said I needed to wait for my insurance to cover a crown (new insurance plan, and I had to be on it for 9 more months to get the crown covered). So long story short, my tooth died and I wanted a different dentist. I found Dr.Ip through 1800 dentist and I was crying my eyes out at my first visit. I knew they were going to tell me I needed a root canal and it scared the bejeepers out of me. I saw Dr.K and she was the SWEETEST dentist Ive ever had my whole life! Ive always been kind of scared when going to the dentist (since having a bad experience with a pediatric dentist when I was really young). She told me what I had to have done and referred me to a endodontist. I had my root canal done and came back to the office to fit my crown and have 2 cavities filled. My fear of going to the dentist is long gone and now I almost look forward to going (it means 1hhr without the kids and I just get to lay down and relax in a chair. win win) 😀 The office is really clean, staff friendly, reasonably priced and they never try to push you into doing something (they always ask me when its time to remove my wisdom teeth, but they’re not pushy about it). Its ALWAYS pain free and they are so gentle its ridiculous! I grew up in Europe and the dentists I went to weren’t the best with the anesthesia, so I got used to affiliating the dentist with PAIN. Love these 2 dentist and would recommend them to all my friends!
