My sister referred me to Dr Jerman. I’m so glad that she did. His staff are very friendly and put me at ease right away. Dr Jerman corrected an issue with several teeth that had been compromised by another dentist.  I am impressed with his professional manner and skill and have moved my dental health care to his practice. We were referred to Jerman Family Dentistry by our dentist in Tiffin, Ohio when we moved to Columbus. We were very happy with our dentist in Tiffin and were a little apprehensive about changing. We could not be happier with Jerman Family Dentistry. Everyone is friendly and willing to answer questions. No fears when we go see the dentist. You are greeted and made to feel welcome and valued from the moment you enter the Jerman Family Dentistry office! Joan does a wonderful job as hygienist and Dr. Mark Jerman is very warm and personable. They take great care of us and do not do anything that is not necessary! So glad we found this office! It was highly recommended after our dentist retired and they have been wonderful.

I went to see Dr. Jerman with a swollen gum that I thought might be caused by a bad tooth and require a root canal. I always appreciate his conservative approach to my care. In this case, he recommended starting with penicillin to reduce the swelling and see if it knocks out the infection. I am currently on the penicillin and the infection, swelling and pain is going away. We’ll see what happens next but whatever I see Dr. Jerman for, I am confident that his number one concern is my care which is why I have been a patient for nearly 11 years.

Jerman Family Dentistry has been our dentists for our whole extended family for over twenty years since my daughter moved here to attend Ohio State Medical school. The dentists and hygienists are very professional. They have been in this area for generations. They established a great reputation. We first found them through my daughter’s referral and recommendations. We got the best dental care in the years that ensured our dental needs and improved our health in general. As a result, we never had any dental problems in the last 20 years. The superior jobs the dentists and hygienists did in the dental care prevented development of any dental problems. I have never had to see the dentist except the routine checkup and cleaning since I started going to Jerman Family Dentistry. I highly recommend Jerman Family Dentitry to anyone looking for a trust worthy dentist that will be able to take care of your dental needs for the years to come.

I’ve been a patient of Jerman Family Dentistry since Dr. Steve got out of dental school. Now that he’s retired I see his son, Dr. Mark. I have always had a good experience and love the staff. Since our family has been going there for so long; they are like family to us! I can’t imagine going to another practice. I highly recommend JFD.

Going to the dentist generally makes me really nervous and uncomfortable. The dental assistant, Tammy, did a great job with the cleaning and really eased my anxiety! Dr. Jerman was also great as was the front desk staff who were very friendly in helping me work out an insurance hiccup. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to establish care with a new dentist.

I had an appointment to remove and replace a crown that I had broken (that was put in by a different dental facility). The first thing that struck me was how considerate Dr. Mark was of my time. I was seen right at my appointment time! Second, I have several crowns and I have never had one put on with such ease and lack of pain. Dr. Mark knew exactly how much Novocain to give and exactly how much time to wait so that I was optimally numb. That has NOT been my previous experience with other dentists! Plus, he was gentle and I did not have any lingering pain. Dr. Mark actually made the crown there, so I did not have to return for a second visit. And last, my bite feels perfect! I highly recommend Dr. Mark and Jerman Dentistry.

The most pleasant experience I’ve ever had in a dental office!! The entire staff is warm, caring and courteous. I was given superior service from immediate attention and a smile in reception, to a thorough examination, cleaning, filling, and fitting from the delightful, well-trained and loyal staff, a spotless office that utilizes current technology, and the quality, efficiency and expertise of the doctor. I’ve been with Jerman Family Dentistry and Tammy the hygienist for many, many years; first with Dr. Steve and now with Dr. Mark. Dr. Mark is always there in an emergency and it is much appreciated (and really, if you cannot count on your dentist, who can you count on!). I am a new patient. I started out with a crown being put on due to mine original cracking. Dr. Mark did a great job and I am very happy. Another time I had painful tooth and instead of doing a root canal right away he went with antibiotics because he thought that would help and it did (saving me from a root canal) Jamie Plahuta

I have been going to this dentistry practice for over 50 years beginning in my early twenties and there is a good reason for this and the secret is in their name…Jerman Family Dentistry. The word ‘family’ is the secret. You’re will notice this from the time you enter the practice. Everyone is very cordial & pleasant and are very concerned about taking care of your teeth. This time I had a problem with one of my teeth and Dr. Mark took the time to discuss with me the different options I had and I was very satisfied with the out come. At the time of writing this review, this practice had 105 reviews with a perfect 5.0 stars. That should tell you something!!!! Our family drives about an hour for our treatments and feel that it is worth the time and effort to be treated by the BEST.

Dr Mark and Lisa took perfect care of me They can cut your bridge right there in the office!! No more going back for multiple visits! A camera and computer and Dr Mark’s expertise, made my visit not feel like a trip up to the dentist They are always friendly and checks by to see if you’re doing okay I cant recommend them enough

I love my dentist (actually, more like my dental hygienist). A friend recommended them about 8 years ago and I haven’t looked back since. What makes them my go to place for cleanings followed by a light scolding of how poor my flossing habits are: the service and the personnel. The admins who schedule my 6 month checkups are always smiling and friendly. They sometimes give a disapproving stare if I show up late to an appointment, but overall they’re very cheerful. The 5 stars really go to my hygienist, Tammy. She’s extremely friendly, easy to talk to, and very open minded. We’ve talked about many things, culture, life, kids, careers, religion with a smattering of my poor dental hygiene habits thrown in. And of course she’s very professional and really does a great job scrubbing the crud out of my mouth. I don’t really know my dentist as they generally show up, give me some advice, point at xrays and make me promise to floss daily. With this Yelp 100 challenge hanging over my head, it’s hard to remember to floss.

Dr.Mark is the best dentist! My whole family has been happy with our experience . The office staff is very friendly and we feel like we are a family. This morning my son had to pull his baby teeth out. When we walked in the door they were already expecting us and ready to go, it took only 20 minutes from the start to the end. Everyone in the office took great care of my son. Thank you for everything you do! We love you guys!

I’ve been a patient here for 9 years since I came to Columbus, they are so good. Very thorough, always prompt with appointment times and treat you like a member of the family. They’ve gotten me for some dental emergencies, too, and helped me get fast, effective care. I highly recommend Jerman Family Dentistry, they are fantastic!

My family’s past dental experiences makes me careful/wary of dental practices. However, the Jerman practice is amazing!! I trust the whole team there which is why I drive 3 hours from Indiana to have my check-ups with Dr. Mark and his team. (I used to even stop by for my checkups when I lived in Minneapolis, MN and flew home to visit my family in Columbus!) First, Tammy is the best hygienist. She’s super thorough and my teeth are always so clean when I leave! And she is the sweetest person! Dr. Mark is great – he’s super nice and I trust his opinions. You can tell that he cares about doing the right thing for you and your teeth. My family has had experiences with other practices where they will push for a service to be done. But Dr. Mark is not like that, he will check your teeth and if possible, recommend taking better care and just putting the tooth on “watch.” Also, as a millennial who travels a lot, I love that I get text and e-mail reminders of my upcoming appointment. The convenience is great!

My husband and son have been going to Jerman Family Dentistry for several years now (I go to a very good dentist close to my workplace downtown), for dental work and cleanings (important since my son wears braces). They have been very pleased with the doctors and the staff. They are all friendly and seem to want the best for their care. Both like to talk sports with Dr. Jerman since his kids play sports and so does my son. Dr. Jerman is friendly, very knowledgeable, and never rushes them. I would highly recommend this office.

Dr. Jerman and Dr. Rekos are both excellent dentists. Appointments are kept close to scheduled time and once called back the work is prompt and comfortable. My husband and I have had various procedures that were all painless and satisfactory. We especially enjoy having the same dental hygienist, Tammy. This enables to feel as if we are friends and can chat about family and things going on in our lives.

The people that work at this practice are wonderful! Dr. Jerman is kind and knowledgeable and always on time. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room for my appointment. I have had the pleasure of having Tammy and Joan, both dental hygienists, work on my teeth. The two of them are the nicest women, easygoing, who care a lot and are very good at what they do. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience with either of them. I would recommend this practice to anyone and everyone.

Best Dental experience I have ever had, everyone in the office, form front desk to hygienists and Dr. Jerman himself or wonderful people. They actually listen to you verses just telling you what you need, then make suggestions based on your comfort level and financial situation. I had to move from Columbus however, I am making a 2-hour drive to see Dr. Jerman I do not want to go anywhere else. If you are looking for a new dentists do not hesitate give them a call and check them out, you will be glad you did.
