I went to see Dr. Jerman with a swollen gum that I thought might be caused by a bad tooth and require a root canal. I always appreciate his conservative approach to my care. In this case, he recommended starting with penicillin to reduce the swelling and see if it knocks out the infection. I am currently on the penicillin and the infection, swelling and pain is going away. We’ll see what happens next but whatever I see Dr. Jerman for, I am confident that his number one concern is my care which is why I have been a patient for nearly 11 years.

Jerman Family Dentistry has been our dentists for our whole extended family for over twenty years since my daughter moved here to attend Ohio State Medical school. The dentists and hygienists are very professional. They have been in this area for generations. They established a great reputation. We first found them through my daughter’s referral and recommendations. We got the best dental care in the years that ensured our dental needs and improved our health in general. As a result, we never had any dental problems in the last 20 years. The superior jobs the dentists and hygienists did in the dental care prevented development of any dental problems. I have never had to see the dentist except the routine checkup and cleaning since I started going to Jerman Family Dentistry. I highly recommend Jerman Family Dentitry to anyone looking for a trust worthy dentist that will be able to take care of your dental needs for the years to come.

I’ve been a patient of Jerman Family Dentistry since Dr. Steve got out of dental school. Now that he’s retired I see his son, Dr. Mark. I have always had a good experience and love the staff. Since our family has been going there for so long; they are like family to us! I can’t imagine going to another practice. I highly recommend JFD.

Going to the dentist generally makes me really nervous and uncomfortable. The dental assistant, Tammy, did a great job with the cleaning and really eased my anxiety! Dr. Jerman was also great as was the front desk staff who were very friendly in helping me work out an insurance hiccup. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to establish care with a new dentist.

I had an appointment to remove and replace a crown that I had broken (that was put in by a different dental facility). The first thing that struck me was how considerate Dr. Mark was of my time. I was seen right at my appointment time! Second, I have several crowns and I have never had one put on with such ease and lack of pain. Dr. Mark knew exactly how much Novocain to give and exactly how much time to wait so that I was optimally numb. That has NOT been my previous experience with other dentists! Plus, he was gentle and I did not have any lingering pain. Dr. Mark actually made the crown there, so I did not have to return for a second visit. And last, my bite feels perfect! I highly recommend Dr. Mark and Jerman Dentistry.

I was given superior service from immediate attention and a smile in reception, to a thorough examination, cleaning, filling, and fitting from the delightful, well-trained and loyal staff, a spotless office that utilizes current technology, and the quality, efficiency and expertise of the doctor.
